5 months to go for me - good tip on the seatbelts will leave them out. Got a display case coming I hope! Thought about connecting switches into the watch and having them on a panel with the watch hidden plus putting lights in the display case - see how I feel at the time. Thanks Wayne for the videos.

Hi Wayne, good job on the car, everthing working fine. Finished mine last month, but the marriage of the car was a real pain. I've noticed on your build some of the dashboard air grilles have fallen out. Also in the engine bay there is one big pipe that needs to connect to a pin on the inner right side wall.
Very, very nice! Kind of looked like the scanner had one rogue bulb that stayed lit when it shouldn’t, but on a different shot it was okay. Beautiful car, though I think one could have had better instruction for how the seat belts should go in. They don’t look functional that way, even if they didn’t use them on the show. Wish I had the money to do something like this. Thanks for a great journey through this build!

Awesome build and video Wayne. The Enterprise build is what brought me to you channel but this KITT is when I subscribed. I love the car and the model. I am only disappointed with the way they had you attach the tail light cover with the exposed screws. I wish there was a way to glue them or slot then in instead. The dash board and those tiny view screens are amazing though. Funny if you were to build this while Knight Rider was on they would not have the technology then to have those work. Really sad to see this come to an end but also with the end of this I am sure is the beginning of something else. So in the words of Wayne, "Lets get Crackin" 😁
Great and sad video all at the same time. I just wonder how long each raw video was for the packs were and same with the polished (edited) time were. Watched every single episode of the Knight Rider car build. Always makes me sad when great builds have to come to an end. Doubt there will be a scale version of the truck and trailer though.

I noticed 1 of the red LED scanner lights stayed on when you first switched it on, but at the end of the video it did not stay on. Does that mean you managed to fix it? That issue would devastate me after building all of that! 😥
Did I hear you say last Thursday you had the U boat 96 watch Partwork Modallbau issue 56-59 there was a problem with panels not matching he had to get another one suggested you check out the parts or watch the video it was to do with the paint lines

Great job Wayne!! 👍 Though I must admit I'm slightly disappointed with how Fanhome did the taillights. Because they missed that the smooth tinted cover from the show goes over the original ribbed Firebird taillight covers! Now the effect is much too clear. Maybe that's an idea for that chap who makes upgrades for these models! 🤷♂️
Can anyone tell me why every model has different labeled screws so AM for the ecto 1 isnt the same as AM for the tumbler as this would make it easier to store them as i have trays of different size screws from multiple models ive done 👍 cheers wayne
Just for this reason, I have separate screw boxes for each of my builds... I have the one that came with the Enterprise-D build, & I purchased other ones for my other builds (R2-D2, KITT, & Optimus Prime) from local craft stores.

In one of your Knight Rider videos you suggested getting some Turtle Wax Color Magic(black)for my car.Will that remove surface scratches?I noticed that one of my door has a surface scratch.Also,you mentioned in another video about using some UV glue.Is there a way to remove UV glue without damaging any kind of electronics?

Marrying the body to the chassis always puts my heart into a flutter! For me, it's one of the most difficult parts of a build, and today I'm going to do just that with the FDNY Fire Truck! 😨 The extra cable you didn't hook up was part of the Power Mod? Is that from Chloe? Which one did you get - the Lite or the (for lack of a better term) the "Original" I plan on building this car - I just hope they offer it as a full kit or "Speed build" soon.

I have the Mike lane mod and I’m not going to I install the battery cable into the model because I thought what if all your going to do tuck it away. I’m going to order the dash replacements from Model modz so none of the yellow light will bleed out that’s the only thing I don’t like about this model. I’m only at stage 14 at the moment so I’ve got a while to go at the moment. I’ve already screwed the monitor so it’s already to plug in when ready and the dashboard is in a plastic bag at the moment.
Do you think say 107/108 is worth the price for two magazines when they could have put them in one issue talk about ripping people off its like issue101/102 titanic 2 min worth why cant they put some stages in one so people can save money beginning to think if I want to buy anymore would you agree
The seat belts are terrible and not true to the real car. I have left them out the build and hoping a modder out there makes some kind blanking plate to cover the hole left on the front seats. I’m holding off doing the final stage to see what Mike Lane does with his dash mods also hoping there’s a more screen accurate mod coming for the rear brake lights and blackout panel which removes the need for the screws being on show.

well its a shame fan home took it on to them selves scam half of there customers with the last pack by sending half the people who paid for the premium packs the case shown on the magazine ..and the other half some cheap rubbish a case that looks like it came from aliexpres .. i dont like being scammed was about to start the E.T build ive done the r2d2 in the past an extra £120.for a case that could not of cost more than £30 is terrible so anyone considering doing the premium builds beware you may not get what is shown

How did u get the shell on to the car as it don't show in video
I Sped it up in the video. Just pull the sills while placing over the body, make sure Rear seats don't impede back section going down.

I didn't do anything. Once I turned it off and back on and worked fine. Must have been an intermittent bug

I've also ordered from Ian at partworksupgrade the chemical scanner which does at the bottom of the dash below the screens which will look cool

Great build but I do not like the exposed screw heads on the rear taillamp panel. I think Fanhome could have done a better job in designing that.
The rear panel was crudely bolted on for the real car, so this doesn't really look far off. Although it should definitely be a darker tint.

I’m going to order the dash replacements from Model modz so none of the yellow light will bleed out that’s the only thing I don’t like about this model.
I’m only at stage 14 at the moment so I’ve got a while to go at the moment. I’ve already screwed the monitor so it’s already to plug in when ready and the dashboard is in a plastic bag at the moment.
My electronics were working just fine. After i finished and closed the chassis they dont work anymore🤦♂️

They don't have the watch stand. They are going out off business Dec of 2024
The seat belts are terrible and not true to the real car. I have left them out the build and hoping a modder out there makes some kind blanking plate to cover the hole left on the front seats. I’m holding off doing the final stage to see what Mike Lane does with his dash mods also hoping there’s a more screen accurate mod coming for the rear brake lights and blackout panel which removes the need for the screws being on show.
I Might Also Leave The Seat Belt's Out, We Might Be Able To Cut The Ends Off To Make Own Blank Plates For The Front Car Seat's. And I Am Also Holding Out By Not putting any more Car Part's together, Until There's No more MOD's/Upgrade's to buy for K.I.T.T.
well its a shame fan home took it on to them selves scam half of there customers with the last pack by sending half the people who paid for the premium packs the case shown on the magazine ..and the other half some cheap rubbish a case that looks like it came from aliexpres .. i dont like being scammed was about to start the E.T build ive done the r2d2 in the past an extra £120.for a case that could not of cost more than £30 is terrible so anyone considering doing the premium builds beware you may not get what is shown
