One of the most iconic steakhouses in the country is Peter Luger of New York. Established in the late 1800s, Peter Luger Steakhouse has been serving up delicious steaks for over 100 years. This is the first expansion outside of New York for the legendary steakhouse and what more fitting location than the historic Caesar's Palace? Come along as I try appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts as I dine at my most anticipated restaurant opening of the year!

Pro tip........When going to Lugers, even if alone, the only way to go is steak for 2.. thats the only cut they give you the porterhouse on......their burgers are insane........Hope you enjoyed. When I lived in LI, it was a fav

Well done Shin! You went on opening day, braved the Strip traffic, ordered a crap ton of food to cover a variety of menu items (even with 2 other people) with a bill of $700+, then published the very next day. The best, dedicated, and unbiased Vegas foodie UA-camr out there right now.

If the restaurant knows you're doing a review, it's not a review. They forget to charge the 1.95 for the cheese on the burger, so I suspect the entire thing is staged. You can't video anything at Caesar's without permission from the resort,. So the idea that this is some casual dinner for 3 is nonsense.
The problem with the place is that it's more expensive than their NYC restaurant without the Charm.

Shin just another unbelievable video. I sure hope all your fans recognize just how many dishes you get at these places to give us the opportunity to see so many different things. You are literally spending double the money most other reviewers spend even though you're a new channel and obviously not making a whole lot. I'm not trying to make it about money but I very much appreciate it and it makes your videos really enjoyable. I was a serious skeptic but they told me it was on the menu for a reason. I'm not going to say it's a revolutionary flavor you've never had, but it was intriguingly delicious. It does need the bacon though. They really should just package all of it together. I hope you enjoy your visit when you go! Thanks for watching!

I used to visit PL in Brooklyn at least every other Friday back in the 90's, all of us that worked in the Financial District made it our place back then. It changed over the last few decades, and not in a good way. I must admit, the LV unit looks nice, but those prices would have me going to Mastro. At least they know me by my first name there.
I LOVE Mastros! Ocean Club on the Newport Coast was my go to restaurant for big celebrations when I lived in California. Can't go wrong going there. Thanks for watching!

When I lived in NY I went to the Peter Luger in Great Neck. Very nice place and the food is sublime. The service is always top notch. I will visit this one once I return to Vegas for another trip.

The seafood tower looked 🤤🤤. The final bill though.....damn. it was a lot of food and drinks. Most people won't order all of that food for themselves. Always nice to treat yourself if you can.
If I were dining here without trying to make a video, I would literally just get a ribsteak for one and an order of the German fried potatoes and be incredibly satisfied for a little over $100. But for videos, I try and show as much as my wallet allows lol. Thanks for watching!

Wow! The food looked good but not that good for what you pay 😮😮😳I saw tomatoes for $18. Tomatoes.🤪 Really appreciate you putting out that kind of coin for content. 👍 No way in heck could I ever justify the cost. The bill alone is my grocery bill for a month. Yes, this is a very expensive restaurant. I was expecting something along the lines of a $500 bill and we definitely went a ways beyond that. The restaurant was empty but it was also Thursday at lunch time. I think if I were to return even for dinner next week, it will be pretty full. I guess we'll see! Thanks for watching!

Insider trick for apps. Order tomato, onion, bacon chopped in a bowl. Get a side of blue cheese crumbles. Dress everything with the lugar sauce eat as a salad

I live in Manhattan and used to go to Peter Luger every two months. Then the prices and quality went up and down. My decades-long go-to has been the Knickerbocker Bar and Grill in Greenwich Village I enjoy the steaks more at Knickerbocker than at Peter Luger, and the prices are much more reasonable.
Knickerbocker's incredible T-Bone Steaks all include
fried or mashed potatoes & their special creamed spinach. The price for one person is 54.00, for two $53.00 p.p.
Their other steaks are all served with fried, mashed, baked potato or Special creamed spinach.
12 oz Marinated Skirt Steak $41.00
8 oz Petit Filet $41.00
16 oz 21 Day Aged Boneless Shell Steak $48.00
12 oz Filet Mignon $49.00
Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, off camera I would never order this amount of food. I just do it to be as informative as my wallet allows at the time. Knickerbocker sounds like a great place! My sister has long since moved back to California from NYC so I haven't had as much of a reason to go anymore and I did all the touristy and non-touristy stuff many times over visiting her for years. She lived on the island in an area called alphabet town or something like that if I recall correctly. Thanks for watching!

Mr. Shin. Never been to Peter lugars but there is a place here in Austin, Texas that's comparable. It's called flemings. Great service, great food and nice ambiance. Not too pricey.

I just had dinner there and unfortunately it didn't go well. I've been going to their New York restaurants for over 30 years and was excited when I saw they were opening in Las Vegas. Since it's much closer to AZ where I live. Our table of 5 ordered 3 Ribeyes (2 med and 1 medrare) & one steak for two(a porterhouse medrare). After our appetizer it took over 1 hour for the steaks to arrive. After waiting 1/2 hour the waiter apologized for the delay and told us it would be out shortly. After 45 min the assistant manager apologized for the delay. However when the steaks finally came the 3 Ribeyes were slightly over medium and the porterhouse was medium well! They refired 1 ribeye and the porterhouse with slightly better results. The ribeye came back medrare and the porterhouse was slightly over medium with tenderloin on the porterhouse was closer to well. We were hungry and accepted the steaks. We didn't want to refire a second time which would have made it closer to 2 hrs . I credit the staff with comping the 2 refired steaks, redoing the sides and also giving us free desserts that we didn't ask for. Maybe I'll give them another try in a few months after the chefs have some more experience. My favorite steakhouse in Vegas is still the Golden Steer.
Oh no. That sounds awful and a terrible experience. I'm sorry to hear that it didn't go well for you. How busy was the restaurant would you say when you went? You can tell in my video that I was one of the few tables there on the opening hour for lunch so the kitchen didn't have many tables to cook for. I have yet to go to the Golden Steer but I've heard such great things. I've had 5 reservations in the last few years that I've had to miss for one reason or another. I'm hoping I can finally try it next year in the spring. I sure hope Peter Luger steps it up from the experience you had though. It would be a shame if a lot of patrons are experiencing the same thing. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I was there for dinner, so it was busy almost every table had customers. Plenty of front of house staff, couldn't tell in the kitchen. In your video the steaks came out on sizzling plates, ours were barely. I think the saddest part was some smaller tables had a second seating while we were waiting.

Some advice. When eating bread like that, rip one piece at a time and butter each piece separately. I would also suggest cutting the lobster tail one piece at a time instead of biting a piece from the whole tail from your fork. Lastly, while I have no problem eating a whole burger intact at a pub or an In-N-Out, edicate dictates eating an oversized burger at a fine steakhouse by cutting it in half with the steak knife provided.

The burger doesn't look that good, the bun looks dry, love a steak that is well seared! I didn't have a good experience at the NY location (years ago), the waiter had quite an attitude and it left a bad taste in my mouth. So glad this location has great customer service, it's such an important part of the dining experience. Thanks for the great review as usual!

Customer service at an upscale steakhouse like this is mandatory and I meant what I said in the video that this was the greatest restaurant service experience of my life. The prices at these name steak houses are insane. $25 for a drink, and $72 for the cheapest steak, no thanks. I just had the best ribeye steak of my life at a place called Club Phoneix in Bartonville Illinois, it was a 16 oz. boneless ribeye cooked to perfection, with a baked potato and a salad. I got a glass of ice tea with it, and the entire bill was $31.00, including tax. I gave the waitress a $5.00 tip, so it cost me $36.00, with tax and tip. And it was the best steak dinner I ever had in my life, I am 63 years old so I have had a lot of steak dinners.
Not only a named steakhouse, but one on the Las Vegas strip at Caesar's Palace. A lot of extra mark-up. I love a good ribeye, though I typically prefer bone-in. $36 dinner sounds great to me! Thanks for watching!
