What makes these type of videos you do so good is we’ve seen you actually go to all these places back to back. So someone who takes 4-5-6 trips a year wouldn’t experience all of this. When they see this breakdown it gives them clear insight on where to go. Really good thank you. I will try the one at Paris and SW at Wynn on my next trip.
So, watching your videos over these past two years has inspired me to try solo travel to LV. I found out I love it even more than taking family or friends! I went 4 times two years ago and I just booked my fifth trip to Vegas this year. December for 3 nights in Cosmo and 4 nights at Palazzo. Going to X Pot, Cut, Bouchon and Beauty and Essex. Can’t wait to get back to Vegas! And I’m going on Palazzo money this December as I won two handpays from the same slot in two days in August at Palazzo. Came home with 6.2k I’m a winner baby! Haha
just curious I do exploring trips alone but never a metro city alone. Do you dine alone? if so how is it? That's my only mental barrier is dining alone but maybe its not as bad I make it seem in my head. thanks in advance
One can only say " Well Done" James. I will for sure be checking some of these out on my upcoming visit. Thanks for covering in such an excellent format 👍.
You crushed it with the Strip House add. A hidden gem in town and one of our favs despite it being at PH. It IS too good for that property. Cut is #1 for us. That place is next, next level. Love your content. Keep up the rad work.
totally agree with you. We had a meal at Strip House during covid that was one of the top 10 meals I have experienced in Vegas, and we have been everywhere the last 15 years. Service was absolutely top notch. I have been coming to Vegas since 2004, Cut has never been outside my top 3, even if the atmosphere is slightly sterile.
Okay, great list! and the best steak I’ve had recently in LV has been at Bavette’s. Was there in August and they served a dozen raw oysters with the steak and the bartender had me pouring top shelf tequila over each oyster before downing - amazing!
Great job! I concur with Bavette’s, Vic & Anthony’s, Jean-Georges, and Prime….but I couldn’t possibly leave Golden Steer off of the list! So delicious….and historic!!! 😉👍
Yes!! I have a reservation at Golden Steer for my boyfriend's birthday on 10/1 . It's not as fancy & upscale as all of these hotel strip locations and definitely the exterior is a shock . However I am sticking to it for a traditional steakhouse meal !
Great content! The amount of time and work you devoted to this video is unbelievable. Hats off to your best video to date. So, I’ve ate at almost all of these and agree, but would add Oscar’s, Circus Circus’s The Steak House, Gallagher’s at NY NY, The Golden Steer Steakhouse, and Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay on there somewhere- maybe add 5 more as honorable mentions?
Love this list!! We will definitely be trying some of these! Thinking Resorts World and Palms is on your to do list. Will be interesting to see if either of their steakhouses crack your top 10. 🤔
We ate at Mastro’s a few years ago, and it’s still my favorite steakhouse so far. We will be eating at Strip House at Planet Hollywood in a few weeks, and we can’t wait. 😄
Been eating steaks in Vegas for 40 years now. I've been to them all plus a bunch that have closed. Best all around steak house is the Charcoal room located in the Santa Fe Station Casino. Perfect steaks, great service, low prices, wonderful wine selection and atmosphere.
Oh good you re back. I was afraid we wouldn't see you for a bit. Loved the 30 day re-cap, I watched very Episode. Honestly, I thought it was gong to be more than 15K :) 16 days till Vegas!
I'm going to agree with you on Bazaar Meats. A hidden Gem on the Strip. Your list is pretty similar to mine but I like Barry's Downtown a bit better. Difficult to decide which one of the top 5 is best.
Hey!! My wife and I had a rezy at Bavette's, but after your video... we've switched it to Strip House. Fits our style/vibe. Plus we're just across the street. Thanks Boss!
I love your lists and I can't wait to try a few of your top selections. Was wondering where Del Frisco's Double Eagle and Golden Steer might come out on a future list.
Nice one. I would’ve put Barry’s 3 spots higher, but totally agree Vic & Anthony’s is a hidden gem (be interesting to see how Oscars at Plaza fares upon reopening after the remodel.). Total agreement on the top 3, Bazaar is in its own universe.
This is a great list. Thank you for talking about the atmosphere of each one too. It’s nice to go out for a nice steak in an restaurant with personality and an attractive esthetic. Also, I appreciate that you left The Golden Steer off this list. It is great in its own right with a lot of history; however, it does not appear to be of the same standard as these modern-day steakhouses, which it probably was back in the day. Great video! 😊
I have visited 4 of those steak houses. I agree with the fact that every one of them are worthwhile to visit. My personal#1 is Andiamo on the second floor of the D.
Hi James, great review and content as always. You mentioned your favorite t - shirt brands in the past. Could you please give that information again? Thanks!
I’m looking forward to SW steakhouse next month when we stay at encore. I might look at the memorabilia, but I’m having second thoughts about Sinatra. I’m not sure we’d enjoy the eating experience there because it seems really really loud. Thanks for all the tips on steakhouses. Hubby loves steaks.
@coolist Herbs and Rye is an all time fave. It's not in a tourist area - so that can affect it. Great steaks, and the drink menu will flat out overwhelm you. Sit at the bar and have one of the masterful bartenders fix you a drink.
I really enjoyed this more personal series. Thanks for sharing these moments. I used to work at Merchandise Mart, across Kenzie street from Bavette's. It used to be my favorite steak house, but I think the menu and creativity is lacking now. If you are in Chicago, please give Maple & Ash and RPM a try. They will offer Jean Georges and Prim style of aesthetics and creativity in Chicago.
Thanks for a great video. I hit Vegas 12-15 times a year and stay at Wynn/Encore & Palazzo/Venetian. While I would rate Cut a bit higher, I have to disagree with your SW rating. The worst steak meal I ever had was there(Nov 22) and they argued that the gristel in the Wagu I ordered was marbeling. In May 23 both of our Steaks were over cooked. Im done with SW.
Think your list is pretty unique and I agree with a lot of the somewhat controversial opinions. Think Vic and Anthonys is far better than Barry's downtown, in fact Barry's would probably not make my top 15. Agree with you that Bavettes is a far better fit in Chicago than here in Vegas. Also agree that Bazaar Meat is not only Vegas' top steakhouse, but probably the best steakhouse in the country. A few things I would have a problem with: think Cut has to be in anyone's top 3-5, mainly because I think their quality of meat is better than anything in Vegas. I think the Flamingo steakhouse is so plain, so cookie cutter, I would recommend even places like Echo and Rig in Summerlin or Oscar's downtown over it. I think the atmosphere at Prime and SW trump Jean Georges at Aria. You gave stripsteak at Planet Hollywood some love, but on their best night I truly think they are top 5, I have had absolutely tremendous service there. Finally, if we are going to make a non steakhouse in top 15, I would make Eiffel Tower restaurant over the stratosphere restaurant. My wife and I have had some of our best steak dinners there. Great list, and it is refreshing to see someone make lists where they have actually experienced every place on the list, and have the critical eye they are looking for.
I really need to make an effort to try other places when I go to Vegas, but I stay at Wynn and SW is so good and it's right there (I'm the type of person when I find a place I like, I keep going there). But I really do want to get to some other places. Bazaar Meats is at the top of the list for steakhouses I want to try.
Thanks so much for your list. I love steakhouses! I have been to Vegas only once back in January. I ate at Oscar's downtown and found the steak pretty damn good. Food overall was excellent and we had a table at the top of the keyhole looking straight down Fremont. Excellent service too. I'd say the overall decor was a little lacking. I will try your top 2 or 3 next visit.
This is my favorite of your recent videos, both for production and for content. I don't often eat steak in LV as there are so many other cuisines to try, but with this and another reviewer's video, I intend to hit up Bazaar Meats next visit. I prefer tasting menus as well. The Top of the Strat also looks to be my type of place. Of your list, I'd only been to Bugsy in the Flamingo, and my steak was disappointing, although the service was top notch. They also gave me a dull knife.
I almost went to Bazaar Meats on my last visit. Chose Caversteak instead, bad choice. The only steakhouse I've been to on your list is Barry's. I'll have to download all the menus from these steakhouses and study them, lol. My favorite cut is the ribcap.
Thanks for all your awesome videos! Does anyone have a recommendation for the best Value Steak house? im taking my girls to LV in a few weeks and they dont need fancy but love a steak dinner... but i dont want to break the bank on them :) thx!
James. I love your views, approach and attitude but friend, WTF. Where’s Oscar’s. I can only imagine you’ve not made it to Oscars yet. 🙈. Mate get it on your list, best STEAK IN VEGAS buddy.
DEAR JAMES, GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I HOPE ALL OF YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. I HOPE YOU HAD THE BEST AND HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AND THE BEST AND HAPPIEST 2022 OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. I LOVE LAS VEGAS. WOW!!!!! 🙏 SINCERELY PETER
I did not have a good experience at Jean George's. Steak came out well done (Medium ordered). Couldn't send it back because I didn't want to wait while everyone else was eating. Another buddy's steak came out medium, and he ordered his rare and he didn't send his back either. Rest of the list is legit; I'd personally swap some of the places, but this is an honest take. I'm curious where Stanton Social would, if at all, crack this list. Peter Luger's will also be opening at some point as well.

What an awesome series this was! Thank you for the long days and nights of work you put into it!

Who needs family or friends... 🤷♂️
I love solo trips to Vegas. There is so much to do there and be yourself, you will still have a blast.
This is my 11th time in vegas this year. Literally flew in solo yesterday! Love it!
just curious I do exploring trips alone but never a metro city alone.
Jean-George at Aria is definitely a must try....Maestros as well....great video young boss
I don’t know what it is but of all the steak houses in Vegas I still can’t stop revisiting Ghallager’s at NYNY
You crushed it with the Strip House add. A hidden gem in town and one of our favs despite it being at PH. It IS too good for that property. Cut is #1 for us. That place is next, next level. Love your content. Keep up the rad work.

Was just there but totally forgot try BM got to caught up in vegas. Next time for sure! Great Reviews!
Okay, great list! and the best steak I’ve had recently in LV has been at Bavette’s. Was there in August and they served a dozen raw oysters with the steak and the bartender had me pouring top shelf tequila over each oyster before downing - amazing!
Mr James, the man of Vegas!!🍗🥩🍔🍕🌭🥪🌮🌯🫔🥙🧆🥚🥘🍲🫕🥣🥗😋😋😋
I came to these comments to make my first and only comment ever on UA-cam. Definitely missed Golden Steer.
Golden Steer is number one for me. It's like taking a time machine to old Vegas.
Second Golden Steer. It’s top 5 for sure. But Bazar Meats at Sahara is fantastic too
It wasn't even an honorable mention...
Great Number One Pick James!!!!!
Great content! The amount of time and work you devoted to this video is unbelievable. Hats off to your best video to date. Love your reviews, keep up the good work
The Golden Steer is my favorite
So much history and old Vegas charm 😋
That and The Steakhouse at the Circus Circus 🎪
Love this list!! We will definitely be trying some of these!
Thinking Resorts World and Palms is on your to do list. Will be interesting to see if either of their steakhouses crack your top 10. 🤔
We ate at Mastro’s a few years ago, and it’s still my favorite steakhouse so far. We will be eating at Strip House at Planet Hollywood in a few weeks, and we can’t wait. 😄
When it comes to objective and frank reviews you are the best!
Hoping to see a seafood restaurant review from you.
Keep them coming.
Been eating steaks in Vegas for 40 years now. I've been to them all plus a bunch that have closed. Best all around steak house is the Charcoal room located in the Santa Fe Station Casino. Perfect steaks, great service, low prices, wonderful wine selection and atmosphere.
Wow this is so clutch . Great idea , thank you for this!!
Thanks for your top 14. i agree that Jean Georges at Aria is one of the best as well. Looking forward to Bazzar at Sahara my next trip back !
Oh good you re back. I was afraid we wouldn't see you for a bit. Loved the 30 day re-cap, I watched very Episode. Honestly, I thought it was gong to be more than 15K :) 16 days till Vegas!
Now this is the video I’ve been looking for on UA-cam.
I'm going to agree with you on Bazaar Meats. A hidden Gem on the Strip. Your list is pretty similar to mine but I like Barry's Downtown a bit better. Difficult to decide which one of the top 5 is best.
Awesome content - Now do top 15 cocktails, top 15 seafood, and top 15 appetizers
Congratulations on completing your epic trip! 🎉

Thank you so much James for this amazing list of steak houses! Outstanding. CAB😊
We have to eat at Golden Steer every trip to vegas try cornerstone too
Thanks for the rundown! We are heading to Vegas in December and the wife would like a nice Steakhouse! Gives us some good info!! Cheers!
Really enjoyed your 30 days. What a marathon!
SW has always been my go to but definitely going to check out Prime at Bellagio and Bazaar at Sahara. Great video!
this was great. straight to the point. thank you!
Thank you for mentioning the Strip House at Planet Hollywood. It’s a great reminder of old school steakhouses
Jose Andres is the man! The happy hour at Jaleo in cosmopolitan has been my favorite hidden gem in all of Vegas
My first steak in Vegas was at the whynn and was unbelievable. Can't want to try Vic and Anthony's on my neck trip.
Definite surprise at #1.
Need a “best drinks list” as well!!
I have visited 4 of those steak houses. I agree with the fact that every one of them are worthwhile to visit. My personal#1 is Andiamo on the second floor of the D.
Great video, now I just need to decide which one.
I would add, THE Steakhouse at Circus Circus & Binion's Ranch Steakhouse.

Joe's Prime Steak at Ceasar's on your next trip, would love to hear and see your review there! Great list btw
I went to SW Steakhouse when I visited, had the 40oz dry aged poterhouse, all to myself 🤤
Good job Ray Donovan!😉
Wow , difficult decision on where to go on my next trip. It's nice to have a no lose situation.
I took notes on this one buddy. Thx.
Excellent job! What do you think of Joe's Seafood prime steak and snowcrab?
Just the video I needed at this moment
Alright well MY personal favorites are:
1- Golden Steer
2- The Steakhouse
3- Barry’s Prime Downtown
4- Oscar’s
5- SW
I've only eaten at Mastro's and V&A (both are Landry's restaurants). I can vouch for both and would easily go again.
totally agreee😄ive been to 4 og these, and he is right, the Bazar at the old Sls was a truly amazing experience, back in the beginning..🤗💗🍷🍷🍾🍽🍽
Can’t wait to go and try them all! Anything on Italian restaurants?
No golden steer ???
Love your videos
James you forgot about Delmonico! My best meal so far, hands down
The best steak house, hands down, that’s a gem in Vegas is Michael’s at the South Point. If you know, you know.
It’s not a steakhouse, but great.
Next time you do a Vegas trip, we need an update on this!
Bazar meats at Sahara is amazing 🤩
I really enjoyed this more personal series. Thanks for sharing these moments.

If you are in Chicago, please give Maple & Ash and RPM a try. They will offer Jean Georges and Prim style of aesthetics and creativity in Chicago.
I beg to differ as my favorite is barr none the Golden Steer. But you need to make reservations a month in advance.

what a ruff life you got eating at high end vegas steakhouses.
No mention of Primal Steakhouse? Place is soo good. Should be on the list.
love these videos
Think your list is pretty unique and I agree with a lot of the somewhat controversial opinions. I'm going to Sahara for New years this year. I will definitely be eating at Jose Andres place when I go.
Boom Nye
I really need to make an effort to try other places when I go to Vegas, but I stay at Wynn and SW is so good and it's right there (I'm the type of person when I find a place I like, I keep going there). But I really do want to get to some other places. Bazaar Meats is at the top of the list for steakhouses I want to try.
Have you tried the bone in filet at Joe's Stone Crabe and Prime Steaks? It is the best steak I have ever had!
No Oscars? We were there last week and it was exceptional.
Different opinions. I wouldn't choose to eat at some you picked, but love Oscars. Less crowd for me.
Golden Steer steak house and Cornerstone top of Binions steak house
Thanks so much for your list. I love steakhouses! I have been to Vegas only once back in January. I ate at Oscar's downtown and found the steak pretty damn good. Food overall was excellent and we had a table at the top of the keyhole looking straight down Fremont. Excellent service too. I'd say the overall decor was a little lacking. No golden steer ? Just wondering .. ranks criteria consist price & quality of food
The video I need to see!!!
Great list, but how would you rate Andiammos?
No golden steer? Ouch.
Hope you enjoyed your time in our city

Ty for this one.
I completely agree with you for Bazaar Meats. I even tried the Chicago location and still think the Vegas one is better.
I almost went to Bazaar Meats on my last visit. Chose Caversteak instead, bad choice. The only steakhouse I've been to on your list is Barry's. I'll have to download all the menus from these steakhouses and study them, lol. My favorite cut is the ribcap.

James. I love your views, approach and attitude but friend, WTF. Where’s Oscar’s. I can only imagine you’ve not made it to Oscars yet. 🙈. Mate get it on your list, best STEAK IN VEGAS buddy.
Bavettes is unreal! The crabcake there was the best I've ever had!
What about the steakhouse at Circus Circus
Have you tried Strip Steak in Mandalay Bay? The Rib Cap was the best beef I've ever eaten.
I like Delmonico’s in the Venetian
Bazaar Meat is by far….my favorite meal I’ve had in Vegas EVER!!!! And I’ve been to Vegas over 50+ times
My favorite is the Golden Steer!
No Oscar’s and no Golden Steer? Ooof
They suck. Like your mom.
Oscar’s is amazing!
Golden Steer is disappointing
Golden Steer is SOOO overrated! What they do best is MARKETING. Free food to influencers and UA-camrs has worked well for them… 🤷🏻♂️
DEAR JAMES,
GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND. WOW!!!!! 🙏

Peter Luger's will also be opening at some point as well.
Were there any off strip steak houses that came close to making the list?
I’m going to 4, 3, and 2 this September
