The 212QB has that, along with multiple additional features that many are not aware of. I just bought mine after researching the heck out of it for the last year and a half. Honestly, I’ve basically been dreaming about the 212QB and was preparing to buy one next year. Upon learning from Jayco directly, that the 212QB will be dropped this year because they now offer the 210QB for less money, I was sure to secure mine. I love it. No slide trailer that’s big enough without a slide. No slide makes it lighter lacks something else to break or leak. The trailer is overbuilt with the same beefier frame as the over 30’ trailers. Plus, they really under rate the GVWR to 5500lbs even though it has the heavier frame and dual 3500lb axles. The leaf springs are mounted below the axles which makes it ride about 6 inches lower than the longer trailers, so it should allow for better stability on the road and better fuel economy.
I would take out the dinette, maybe put the fridge on that side, continue the counter to the end, and have a desk area at the end. I like having a sofa double recliner with the detachable swing in table-ettes for eating on....maybe where the fridge is now could be more storage?
Love this no slide layout! Very similar to some older trailers i've been seeing on marketplace in northern Indiana. I wish they had heated under belly on these, would be great for the shoulder seasons. Also, a neat add would be a bunk over the couch in the back instead of the cupboard. I know my parents old Shasta had a bunk you could fold back up into a cupboard if you took the mattress out.
I looked at one of these a few weeks ago and liked it enough to go back for a second look! But in the end, I agree with your assessment re; a mid-size truck. The numbers work, but it did "feel" like it was too big to be a comfortable tow in the mountains or in a wind zone. Although the tandem axles would give it a little added stability. What you said was perfect. This is a camper for camping, not glamping. It's that place off the ground to sleep (esp for those of us that can no longer get down, only fall down. And while get up is easier, it sure ain't pretty!) It's a nice, basic camper, great for solo. There are 2 changes I would like to see. 1st, the kitchen. Small kitchens need a 2 burner stove with no oven. 2-3" of counter is not big enough to chop an onion. Is there a reason no one has come up with a large wet bath? That is such a tight space yet if they changed it into a wet bath it would have much more room.
Josh, after watching the video about this camper, which isn't for us BTW, I gotta ask you (which you should ask all the RV builders out there): WHY don't RV mfgr's have the bathroom shower walls go all the way up to the roof line? I know they use prefab wall panels for speed of assembly, but damn man, take them up to the roof line! I believe most buyers would be willing to pay a dollar or two more for complete coverage. What do you think?
Parts standardization from suppliers. Average trailer sidewall height is 6'6". So that's what most of them build for. This is rare with a 6'9" ceiling so you see that 3" gap at the top
Beef up the axles to increase the cargo capacity, slide the kitchen forward and move the door between the dinette & kitchen, or a full u-dinette in the rear. It would be cool if a manufacturer would have a bare-bones camper, nothing built inside, but be able to order interior parts, cabinets, etc, and diy, build it yourself. That would be awesome!
Thanks for the look Josh!! I'm not sure why there is a trend away from the glass tops on the ranges, that logic is mystifying, especially with counter space at a premium in most RVs. I realize not everybody camps the same, but for me, I wish manufacturers made ovens the option, rather than the standard, and replaced all ranges with the 2 burner "north/south" set up. In most floor plans that third burner is almost always unusable if the other two are in use and it would free up a good chuck of countertop. Sorry for the mild rant. Lol.
We have 2022 212qb version. My husband and I camp in it with three medium sized dogs ( 2x50lb & 1x70lb). I removed the dinette seat closest to the back to make a great place to put a large crate. FYI I am 5ft 4in and the couch is not comfortable to sleep on because it is too short. It was also too much to pull with a half ton. We had to buy 3/4 ton chevy 2500. My husband was stressed pulling it with a 1500 and he has his CDL.
I would add the cover for the stove (works great as a back splash when cooking and adds counter space when not) and I'd add the covers for the sink for counter space.
We had an open range trailer with this same layout. We bought it because we wanted something smaller, lighter and closer to the ground (my wife has a bad back) and simplify our camping experience. It's just the two of us so a trailer like this is perfect. It was easy to with a half ton pick up. And heating and cooling was excellent. However, the bathroom was an issue. The toilet space was way too tight for us and the shower space was just too narrow, and we are not big people. And once we added a small dog to the mix this trailer became just too small for us. Just trying to pass each other through the small hallway was a chore. Ultimately we ended up going back to something bigger just so we could have more interior space.
Love the ability to sleep guests. Hate, and Jayco listen up, HATE the removal of the J Smart lighting. Especially since it’s a reliable, active safety feature. I get you’re going for a budget but take away a burner on the stove or something. Don’t scrimp on safety. I say this as a happy Jayco owner (with J Smart lighting).
You asked for one thing I’d change, I have 2, sorry. 1) get rid of bathroom sink, put toilet with plenty of room a Sasquatch size man would be comfortable 2) nobody needs that huge kitchen sink with no prep area when you only have 50 gallons fresh water. A double bowl sink sells to the lady shoppers, but reality is paper plates go in the trash, not in the sink. It’s for camping not for doing dishes Everything else makes this the best rear dinette model on the market. I’ll buy one next year or so, but will see if I can special order my 2 changes
I like that the wardrobe closets don't come down to the night stands. I wish the dinette table was movable, not bolted to the floor. Nice unit all together
We have a 212 and love it. Replaced the dinette with a DIY desk and two chairs, which is great for work and meals, and givces more leg room for the couch It was a really easy fix. I like the new countertops and lighter decor in this one. We've never bohered with a TV since our laptops and streaming work just fine; ansent that, there are old fashioned things called books available. Jayco's 212 or 210 are our top pick for a small, slidless, lightweight couples trailer.
Neat entry level rig. Love the layout and if the price is right this should make for one hell of a rig that can be personalized. Seems to be made for the shorter people but toss in a regular queen and two taller folks will be fine. Pretty sure most folks will do that anyway. Guess the only change would be to make all the cabinets the same color. Jaco it's good to see y'all are on the right path.
Make it a rear entry door and a pass through bath for better space in the bathroom and bedroom and I'd be interested. As is, that bathroom is a no go. As a rule, I'd pack in a couple of chairs and a table and do without the dinette. I don't mind the kitchen as this is a budget model. I really like that it doesn't have slides.
Overall a great camper. I am very disappointed that Jayco stopped using Goodyear tires, I feel as that was a huge selling point that they came with great tires from the factory. I am also disappointed that the JAY SMART system is not available on SLX, that is an incredible safety feature. I really do not like that they don't have an enclosed underbelly as compared to previous model years. I do not like that there is no cover over the stove, it really lacks on counter space. It is a nice layout, perfect for weekend trips.
This is the only member of their lineup running import tires btw. I'm not saying I like it either but thankfully they're still available on other members of their lineups
This is a perfect tent replacement. Hang out in camp and sleep in here. Great for nasty weather days or warming up in the shoulder season. We have 5 year old triplets and they can sleep just find on those options in the back. Bathroom is tight but again its a replacement for the unfortunate and occasional nasty campground bathroom. But, c'mon still with the outside speakers? We don't wan't those - do the folks in RV manufacturing not know about bluetooth speakers?
I love the floor plan! I’m looking at getting a TT with my older mom (72 years young), so she can have the nice queen in the front, and I can fold down the sofa at night for me. It still saves the dinette for us to eat and prep at without moving my sleeping arrangements too much. I like not having a bunk, which is just awful for an adult, and the split “bedrooms” give us the space at night. I just hope that my Tacoma could handle it. 6,800 tow rating.
The weight ratings on this are within your tacoma's specs but I don't feel right with that pairing. The physical size of the RV makes me suspect it will more easily push around the Tacoma and cause uncomfortable towing situations. I have no personal experience trying it. It just doesn't look/feel right when I picture it
We have 212qb version. I am 5ft 4in and the couch is not comfortable to sleep on because it is too short. It was also too much to pull with a half ton. We had to buy 3/4 ton chevy 2500. My husband was stressed pulling it with a 1500 and he has his CDL.
@@Gladfulspirit I’m not too worried about about the length of the couch. I had to sleep on a narrow dinette bed in a FEMA TT for 8 months after the Camp Fire. If I can survive that, I can survive it for a few weeks a year. Lol. I’m also 5’4”, and I tend to curl up when I sleep. I will not get this TT though, I think you’re right, it’s too much trailer for my Tacoma. I’m still looking for the perfect TT…
Like the layout. Especially the lounge & dinette. Magic wand change? Maybe some way to expand the bathroom space but just when it’s in use. I think I’ve seen some arrangements where the door/wall can sort of fold out, in this case into the corridor, to give you that extra elbow room in there. (Or maybe I just imagined it.)
I owned a 2022 212QB. It was great if you like to stay on the move but WAY too small to live out of for any length of time. After nearly 10,000 miles of traveling I traded mine for a Jayco 29RL which my wife and I love.
Overall, I like it for the simplicity. 1 thing that I would change? I'd replace the 3-burner stove/oven with a 2-burner stovetop, like the Wolf Pup has to create additional counter and drawer space. As always, Thanks for your honest review!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yes. When we owned our Wolf Pup, we never missed the oven. In our Imagine 22 RBE, we never use the oven. We either cook outside on the grill/griddle, or we use an air fryer.
getting better i think a shorter window over dinette and a option for counter in place of dinette with stool or desk chair tv / monitor on that counter
One DIY project I would do is remove the seating portion of the dinette and replace them with lockable truck boxes. Then Velcro the seating pads on them.
I would definitely consider removing the dinette and put in something that I can just sit a tv on when parked up. Would leave sleeping space on the sofa and I couldn't see my self ever using the dining area just by myself or with my dad staying
Thanks for the full look at the 210qb Josh!! In your intro table you have the height at 12 ft 6 in. Jayco lists at 10’ 6’ which is decent considering the tall interior!! Thanks again.
I love this layout! The only thing that I would wish for is that it came with Goodyear tires as opposed to the cheap imports. I think you get a lot of bang for the buck with this one.
I really like this trailer. The floor plan is excellent. The bathroom is great i do not like the wet bath option. The separation of the bedroom and sitting area that the bathroom creates is great. I do like a door to the bedroom but in this I believe the curtain would work. The only downside is that the underbelly is not enclosed or heated. Maybe a little spray foam would work. Love the solar package a must have. As far as the countertop issue maybe a small wall mounted tray of some sort would work? Also the fact that you can get extra sleeping area out of the sofa and dinette makes it work for the grandkids. I will definitely keep this one on my short list. Thanks Josh really like the videos you make me laugh sometimes and that's a good thing. Plus I have been learning a lot about RV's Thanks to you.
The lay out isn't bad but many of these all just look the same and always have the TV in the most awkward kink in the neck places. If i were to build it I would keep the couch on the wall but make it into a sectional type sofa so that it ran the entire back wall as well as the right wall. Then remove the dinette table, and where the other dinette bench is ( closest to the kitchen) remove that bench and make a wall that goes straight up. So now when you walk in you see the kitchen with a wall that goes straight up to the ceiling. And on the back side of that wall (where the bench was up against the sink) thats where the TV and fire place would sit in a catty corner style fashion. So that everyone along the back wall would be able to sit comfortably and watch TV and enjoy a small electric fireplace.
I think this is a sweet camper :) I like the booth and couch, would work with the way we camp. But seeing you asked, I’d miss my glass stove cover! Especially with the lack of counter space here! Also saves from dust :)
This was our second choice to the Grey Wolf 20 RDSE. Advantage to this one on the plywood construction but we like the bigger windows and the dinette. Might be good to share if solar pkg trailers support lithium batteries.
@@JoshtheRVNerd ah, yes. They will all work but many won't charge LIFEPO4 batteries beyond about 80%. For example we have to change out our solar controller and the power converter to get sunlight or shore power to full charge the battery. Our 2o22 rdse is like that.
This would be my upgrade model from my RPOD, would pull the dinette and create an entertainment center. Wonder if doing that would effect the warranty ? Have a Frontier, and wouldn't dream of pulling something that big with it.
Uncle Josh you know I just love it when the seating is good for conversations. Also love the sink and the shub!! Question? Could I remove some of that bathroom storage next to the toilet to gain a lil arm wiping room? Otherwise they nailed this one💜💜💜
I'd like to see the kitchen counter extended with a televator instead of the dinette. Replace that awful not-really-a-couch with theater seats and one those removable tables.
I love it Its absolutely perfect except the bathroom they should take out that big counter and just put a small sink and counter and move the toilet over for more room that big counter is rediculous 😮
Alrighty so I took your advice on buying your first camper stuff, visited with some dealers today, found this one and it seems like it may be a good fit. As a salesman, I'd like your opinion. I found one for sale $15,250 under msrp. Being that the 2025 models are coming in, is this price worth it or should it be lower? People that have used this camper, any bad reports, I should be aware of? Our family has never used jayco trailers. Growing up my grandparents used dutchman trailers and winnebago class c motorhome.
My one thing to change? More butt beam and elbow room around the toilet. A second item is to raise the bottom of the dinette window to be above the table height. I wonder how many times that glass is gonna get broken banging that table and bodies into it in bunk mode.
Opposing sofas would be far more comfortable and take up much less room than the dinette and would possibly allow for more kitchen counter space👍the only big negatives are no ladder, no TV for rainy days, a tiny camp queen bed and a cheap entry level bathroom with a plastic toilet, a shower curtain and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan😢
Personally, "camp queen" beds should be illegal, along with every fan that is not a max airflow style. Also, replacing the dinette with theater seating or a trifold sofa wound be great. The jack knife sofa and the trifold meeting in the middle would make a great monster bed for the littles to pile up on.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I still look for Thing when you do a review and they prank you , but I have noticed your hitting that point again were your tired and over stretched and missing details like a arm coming out of the bed you need to add a second person to help you cover the Coast to Coast Bush dealership network and all the different brands and models that Bush offers ,

Josh, how hard would it be to remove the sink/counter top in the bathroom to make it larger? There's a sink about three feet away in the kitchen to use.
Hi. Just thinking about purchasing.this trailer. I would be towing it with a Toyota Tacoma, off-road. It can tow up to 6500. Was wondering what’s your opinion on towing this trailer with a med size truck?
Double check this one's hitch weight vs your payload As I recall yu're within specs on that pairing but there's something about it that makes me feel uncomfortable. I think if you were just moving it locally-ish, then perhaps it could be ok But for distance towing or handling major inclines it just feels like too much to me
I have a 2017 Ford F150 2.7 eco boost truck. Do you think it would be able to tow this camper across the country? The towing capacity of this truck is 8,500 lbs...but I'd like to hear what you think Josh...
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you for your input Josh...I've been camping locally in my 1984 Starcraft pop-up camper. But as I near retirement, I'm wanting to upgrade and travel across the U.S. with my wife! I want a good camper that doesn't cost an arm and a leg without buying a new truck! I'd keep camping in my pop-up camper, but I don't want to get eaten by a bear, and my wife wants her own bathroom! LOL
Towing wise you're in the black but a challenge with short wheelbase vehicles is they are pushed around more easily. I think you can pull it but I'm not sure how well it will be controlled behind you if that makes sense Proper hitching obviously helps. So maybe for a more local trip it'd be OK but I wouldn't go cross-country on highways like that
Like to see a U shaped dinette across the back, would make more room for kitchen counters on 1 side, larger bathroom and full queen bed. Underbelly needs to be enclosed, that's a deal breaker for us. Absolutely needs a glass ( or metal, like the old days) stove top cover....No TV, no medicine cabinet in the bath, C'mon Jayco!
Are you saying: The dinette benches can be removed without any structural problems???? We have the 21fb Mesa Ridge and I WANT TO PUT A recliner in its place.
I wonder where they lost the 500 pounds from?? I see less details on this 2024 than the 2022 212QBW I bought. Such as, mine has a rock/road debris guard in front of the outside propane connection; the glass top to the stove; the ladder, sink covers, tv already mounted, JaySmart exterior lighting, enclosed underbelly, porcelain toilet, medicine cabinet plus more. Seems like the 210QB is a stripped down version of the older 212QB; but we did fully option our 212 with the "W" West Coast Rocky Mountain Package and Baja Package which increased the cost. So I guess if those options are still available a more basic starter 210 is good for some that hopefully can be upfitted/optioned for those who want more?
They have the same trim package coming out in the 260BH - footage coming soon on that one. With a slide you'd move into full jay flight like this ua-cam.com/video/SGOiOk0nfuE/v-deo.html
Opposing sofas would be cool.... put the door on the backend like a truck camper and extend the counter top for more cooking. Or put a pantry where the current door is
The wrap around rear view is what makes these type trailers, you'd lose that with a rear door.
What if you put a small window on each side of the door?
That is a cool idea! You’d also have a very long straight run from the door, you could probably stick a kayak in there.
Great idea!!

Lol.
Rant away. I asked the question after all!
We have 2022 212qb version. My husband and I camp in it with three medium sized dogs ( 2x50lb & 1x70lb). I removed the dinette seat closest to the back to make a great place to put a large crate.
FYI
I am 5ft 4in and the couch is not comfortable to sleep on because it is too short. It was also too much to pull with a half ton. We had to buy 3/4 ton chevy 2500. My husband was stressed pulling it with a 1500 and he has his CDL.
"A Person of Fuller Stature" is the name of my Meatloaf cover band.
That's amazing
I would add the cover for the stove (works great as a back splash when cooking and adds counter space when not) and I'd add the covers for the sink for counter space.
Theyre always handy
Love feedback from real owners. Ty
I'm loving all these new layouts you've been showing lately. Imagine the possibilities if they did all these with a max wide no slide option?
Arctic fox is the only one i've ever seen do it
I like this. No slide!!
Sure makes it easy
Love the ability to sleep guests. Hate, and Jayco listen up, HATE the removal of the J Smart lighting. Especially since it’s a reliable, active safety feature. I get you’re going for a budget but take away a burner on the stove or something. Don’t scrimp on safety. I say this as a happy Jayco owner (with J Smart lighting).
I'm not a fan of it being removed either
You asked for one thing I’d change, I have 2, sorry.
1) get rid of bathroom sink, put toilet with plenty of room a Sasquatch size man would be comfortable
2) nobody needs that huge kitchen sink with no prep area when you only have 50 gallons fresh water. A double bowl sink sells to the lady shoppers, but reality is paper plates go in the trash, not in the sink. It’s for camping not for doing dishes
Everything else makes this the best rear dinette model on the market. I’ll buy one next year or so, but will see if I can special order my 2 changes
lol 2 is better than one! :)
1.) You're not the first to mention it. I get it.
2.) Fair. TY
I like that the wardrobe closets don't come down to the night stands. I wish the dinette table was movable, not bolted to the floor. Nice unit all together
Ty Dan
We have a 212 and love it. Replaced the dinette with a DIY desk and two chairs, which is great for work and meals, and givces more leg room for the couch It was a really easy fix. I like the new countertops and lighter decor in this one. We've never bohered with a TV since our laptops and streaming work just fine; ansent that, there are old fashioned things called books available. Jayco's 212 or 210 are our top pick for a small, slidless, lightweight couples trailer.
TY! This is solid feedback. Love hearing how folks have "made it their own" as well
Neat entry level rig.
TY so much. I feel like you "get it" pretty well
Make it a rear entry door and a pass through bath for better space in the bathroom and bedroom and I'd be interested. As is, that bathroom is a no go. As a rule, I'd pack in a couple of chairs and a table and do without the dinette. I don't mind the kitchen as this is a budget model. I really like that it doesn't have slides.
I've wondered about that! Interesting you mentioned it. Rear wall entry could be super cool on these and help expand the kitchen
I think RV design is one of those things where they want to keep doing what they've always done even if it's not the best because it's easier
Looks good, but i prefer switch the bed and put on back and put the living/dining room close to the door
Love the layout❤
Heated belly and tanks. ? Great stuff Josh ✌ GOD bless America 🇺🇲
None of that on a budget series like this
I love the floor plan!
It just doesn't look/feel right when I picture it
@@JoshtheRVNerd thanks for the input! I’ll look at smaller units. It’s hard to find them though with a rear dinette/sleeping that aren’t bunks.
(Or maybe I just imagined it.)
ooh that's a slick idea... like.. REALLY smart
I owned a 2022 212QB. It was great if you like to stay on the move but WAY too small to live out of for any length of time. After nearly 10,000 miles of traveling I traded mine for a Jayco 29RL which my wife and I love.
Yeah I wouldn't use it for more than weekend getaways myself but everyone is different!
One change, add a medicine cabinet. Keep up the great work Josh!
🙌🏻 yes! 🙌🏻
My friends David and Jenni have a "Springdale" which has the same floor plan almost and he done a lot of work to it.
Yeah Springdale's version of this is pretty good too. It's been an age since i got a chance to record one but perhaps this season?
Overall, I like it for the simplicity. 1 thing that I would change? I'd replace the 3-burner stove/oven with a 2-burner stovetop, like the Wolf Pup has to create additional counter and drawer space. As always, Thanks for your honest review!
Giving up the oven as well?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yes. When we owned our Wolf Pup, we never missed the oven. In our Imagine 22 RBE, we never use the oven. We either cook outside on the grill/griddle, or we use an air fryer.
getting better i think a shorter window over dinette and a option for counter in place of dinette with stool or desk chair tv / monitor on that counter
that could be really cool...
One DIY project I would do is remove the seating portion of the dinette and replace them with lockable truck boxes. Then Velcro the seating pads on them.
Kinda neat..
I would definitely consider removing the dinette and put in something that I can just sit a tv on when parked up. Would leave sleeping space on the sofa and I couldn't see my self ever using the dining area just by myself or with my dad staying
I'd replace dinette w dog crates and tv above that.
TY
Well articulated.
Ty
Thanks for the full look at the 210qb Josh!! In your intro table you have the height at 12 ft 6 in. Jayco lists at 10’ 6’ which is decent considering the tall interior!! Thanks again.
Odd.. I got the specs right from Jayco at the time. Perhaps it was an error?
I love this layout! The only thing that I would wish for is that it came with Goodyear tires as opposed to the cheap imports. I think you get a lot of bang for the buck with this one.
Our stores could get different tires for you from local shops most likely. My home store is next to a belle tire for instance
That’s not a wet bath btw but it is tight for sure
Extra counter flip up could be handy
If you would recommend/consider/give your opinion on a tow vehicle, what tow vehicle or class would you suggest?
There are some larger class SUVs that could handle this. tandem axles and a 5500lb gvwr is fairly modest. MOST half tons will find it suitable.
Also saves from dust :)
aewsome TY
just add a custom made butcher block for the cooktop, love the no slides
Sounds good to me!
This nice, we're I to pull out the dinette, I build a desk into the area and just use TV trays to eat off of.
I think I like that idea
This was our second choice to the Grey Wolf 20 RDSE. Advantage to this one on the plywood construction but we like the bigger windows and the dinette. Might be good to share if solar pkg trailers support lithium batteries.
I'm not really aware of any RV factory solar setup that isn't lithium compatible at this stage
@@JoshtheRVNerd ah, yes. They will all work but many won't charge LIFEPO4 batteries beyond about 80%. For example we have to change out our solar controller and the power converter to get sunlight or shore power to full charge the battery. Our 2o22 rdse is like that.
Really like the design and weight! Would LOVE to swap out the dinette for a corner bar/desk area and put the TV right across from the sofa.
That would be cool!
This would be my upgrade model from my RPOD, would pull the dinette and create an entertainment center. Wonder if doing that would effect the warranty ? Have a Frontier, and wouldn't dream of pulling something that big with it.
MFGs just don't cover the work they didn't do. So if you swap furniture and have an A/C issue they're unrelated and the AC is covered
Instead of a 3 burner put a 2 burner with glass top and that sink needs covers especially being that big
Uncle Josh you know I just love it when the seating is good for conversations. Also love the sink and the shub!! Question? Could I remove some of that bathroom storage next to the toilet to gain a lil arm wiping room? Otherwise they nailed this one💜💜💜
Possibly after the fact but not from the factory
❤❤❤ love this thank you
Absolutely my pleasure!
A bar/desk or 2nd couch option in that dinette area would be great!
yesssssss
Good weekend fishing camper
Totally!
Need to show more of these lighter weight campers
I get what I can where I can! :)
Love it!!!
This thing is so light that my '87 Dakota could tow it! Crazy
I could pull it in my Tacoma IF I wasn't surrounded by mountains with high passes and summits
I'd like to see the kitchen counter extended with a televator instead of the dinette. Replace that awful not-really-a-couch with theater seats and one those removable tables.
TY
I love it Its absolutely perfect except the bathroom they should take out that big counter and just put a small sink and counter and move the toilet over for more room that big counter is rediculous 😮
I think that's not a bad idea in that space
Alrighty so I took your advice on buying your first camper stuff, visited with some dealers today, found this one and it seems like it may be a good fit.
As a salesman, I'd like your opinion. I found one for sale $15,250 under msrp. Being that the 2025 models are coming in, is this price worth it or should it be lower?
People that have used this camper, any bad reports, I should be aware of? Our family has never used jayco trailers. Growing up my grandparents used dutchman trailers and winnebago class c motorhome.
Nice! Just put a cutting board to size on the stove top. T I did that after 2 glass tops got broken!
That's probably what I would do. Sometimes the simple old school ways are still the best
For me it is what I’d like for my next trailer. Would prefer more room in the bathroom.
TY for watching
My one thing to change? More butt beam and elbow room around the toilet. A second item is to raise the bottom of the dinette window to be above the table height. I wonder how many times that glass is gonna get broken banging that table and bodies into it in bunk mode.
Manufacturers seem to always make the tv’s an after thought. Connect 312re, does it the best!
Definitely different comparing a 21 foot entry level basic budget camper to a 35 foot laminated RV with far more features but I get what you’re saying
Love it❤
We have this model from 2019, use it seasonally and LOVE it! We are fluffy and fit just fine. We did take the tp holder off the bathroom door though
Awesome that's good to know. TY
Personally, "camp queen" beds should be illegal, along with every fan that is not a max airflow style. Also, replacing the dinette with theater seating or a trifold sofa wound be great. The jack knife sofa and the trifold meeting in the middle would make a great monster bed for the littles to pile up on.
What if this living room had dual sofas that became sleepers and met in the middle like a toy hauler?
Where's Thing at ?? ,remember the arm that came out of the bed with the Haylett R-V bag best blooper of all time
hahaha wow - great memory!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I still look for Thing when you do a review and they prank you , but I have noticed your hitting that point again were your tired and over stretched and missing details like a arm coming out of the bed you need to add a second person to help you cover the Coast to Coast Bush dealership network and all the different brands and models that Bush offers ,
@@djfitzgerald2193 hahahah
It's 100% self inflicted.
I am almost completely autonomous in my work. I took it easy this week. Working from home catching up on editing at my own pace... which is still pretty breakneck
Were I to buy a camper trailer, this would be it.
Very versatile.
nice! TY
Josh, how hard would it be to remove the sink/counter top in the bathroom to make it larger? There's a sink about three feet away in the kitchen to use.
Unsure. Not my area of knowledge so I don't want to speculate.
I would put in a bathroom linen cabinet and medicine cabinet.
I might pull out the dinette and install a baby hammock
dont threaten me with a good time
Very nice !!
TY!
Hi. Just thinking about purchasing.this trailer. I would be towing it with a Toyota Tacoma, off-road. It can tow up to 6500. Was wondering what’s your opinion on towing this trailer with a med size truck?
Double check this one's hitch weight vs your payload
As I recall yu're within specs on that pairing but there's something about it that makes me feel uncomfortable. I think if you were just moving it locally-ish, then perhaps it could be ok
But for distance towing or handling major inclines it just feels like too much to me
very nice for a smaller one it feels roomie to me. I do like your idea of a bar or desk where sofa is....oh toilet too tight. ugh
Yeah toilet is a bit tight for sure
in that dinette I'd put a custom desk there for us Gamer's
I have a 2017 Ford F150 2.7 eco boost truck. Do you think it would be able to tow this camper across the country? The towing capacity of this truck is 8,500 lbs...but I'd like to hear what you think Josh...
This has a max GVWR of 5500 so 3,000lb less than your max rating. That's a solid pairing
LOL
good video Josh
TY!
Do you think this would pull well combined with a Jeep Grand Cherokee v8 4x4 (6500 tow rating)? Its a large suv.
Towing wise you're in the black but a challenge with short wheelbase vehicles is they are pushed around more easily. I think you can pull it but I'm not sure how well it will be controlled behind you if that makes sense
Proper hitching obviously helps.
Sounds like you might really prefer the Cherokee version. it runs a few more dollars but has those things you're seeking
Will check it out !! Thanks Josh!!
Are you saying: The dinette benches can be removed without any structural problems???? We have the 21fb Mesa Ridge and I WANT TO PUT A recliner in its place.
Yeah dinettes aren't structural to the RV
Thanks!!
How hard/ expensive would it be to install a washer/dryer hookups to a model like this?
Zero factory allowance so it would be 100% DIY. There’s no space for that without major modification to the RV I fear
I'd pay another 300 for the sink cover and medicine cabnet to come factory
yikes not enclosed belly... deal breaker
Yeah, this is effectively a more basic 212. They don’t really offer a lot of options on this new version though
Hey Josh I have a 2013 3.5 v6 ecoboost. Crew cab 4×4 Do you think I'm ok with hauling this
Probably but without actual truck specs I cannot say for certain

Would it be possible to put in a camp King bed/mattress?
As long as there’s nothing like stands beside the bed blocking you
What’s the length of the sofa and dinette in sleeping mode ?
Check out the “jaycosalestoolkit” app. It has all those sleeper dimensions the mfg doesn’t make readily available
