Solid surface options and we are changing this one to it. Interesting idea on the flat cabinet. We are thinking about finding a large enough valve for dumping. Hey Patrick. If possible, when you take us into the rig for the first time, could you do a quick 360 tour of the interior before the owner starts the tour? I think it flows better and more naturally that way, because that's what the first thing anyone would do when they enter a vehicle, take a full look around. That would be great! I love this rig, so clean on the outside and in.
I must say, thats the top in its class that I've seen so far, only not sure of the aluminum cabinets. It reminds me of file cabinets. I also like more cook top space. My all time favorite, is still, the 3 or 4 burner propane Wedgwood range with a small oven. But i am definitely interested in your company and her creations. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Very cool. I'd be a little worried about the plywood used along the top of the rear cargo storage area. I imagine a lot of folks will use that as wet/dry storage and any condensation would eventually rot it out.

@@nomadrvs I work in a similar industry here in the UK. Happens all the time, you build a stunning vehicle then something extremely small catches someone’s attention and it’s game over 😂😂
Love this floorplan and how airy it feels inside! I've been looking at other B+ vans. Any chance of getting this onto a Ford Transit chassis in the future?
Thanks for covering these types of builds. I do wish you shot with a slightly wider angle lens. Its kinda hard to really get a feel for the space unless youre at one end looking back.
@nomadrvs really like you're vids, just thinking out loud as a videographer. It's a balance though because if you go too wide it also misrepresents the space. But I love watching these because I have been trying to design my ultimate van build. Been gathering ideas for about a year so I can really maximize the layout. Each tour gives me ideas.
Amazing rig! 3 questions. 1) Gas mileage? 2) I know the Sprinter 3500 has a GVWR of 11,030. What’s the dry weight? Cargo carrying capacity? 3) I need a TV! Any way to lose a few of the upper cabinets at the end of the bed to mount a TV?
One last thing. I’ve seen a few truck campers that have the bed mattress on gas struts with 6-12” of storage room underneath the mattress. I think it’d add quite a bit of storage. I’ll be in the market for something like your vehicle in the next not too distant future. You’re definitely at the top of my list!
Thank you. We are the biggest fans of hanging it there and taking up space. So we just put the roll inside when using the bathroom. We might do a flush mount that encroaches about 1/2 the roll or so inside in the shower and rest ends up under the sink area with a cover. Not sure.
The $199,000 isn't terrible. But the metal cabinets, while no doubt durable just strikes me as garage like rather than home like. The sound of metal is irritating to me. I think a cream or white color would be a little better.
Very nice design. After living in my Sprinter, I definitely wouldn't want to deal with putting blackout covers on the windows in the front cab every night. Definitely needs a partition door between the cab. And not sure if it's possible with the design of the table but a pass through from inside to the garage would be nice so you can access some things without going outside. Great job!
Great presentation! This is a very tempting option. One question: I see the rear panel angled up to help departure angle. But I wonder if the huge battery box below affect the departure angle a lot. What’s the data on approach / departure and break over. Thanks.
The battery bank is very similar to the panel angle. Maybe 1” lower. However with that said we are looking to move them inside as we believe there is room now that everything is laid out in the real world scenario
@@paulbailey5915 yup! It was the original plan then I didn’t think it worked so we designed the heated box. But now that it’s built it will work to have them inside.
Great specs, love it. This has made my very short list. 2 quirky questions: Are those outdated USB-A's (hope not) or (C = more future proof) how many watts output? i.e. for fast charging Mac pro or similar laptops etc? Are the aluminum available in white? thx. Kudos on all your systems.
This is awesome I just wish it had a way of having three separate bed systems.. although I guess if your kid was small enough which mine is not they could fit in that upper cabinet above the cab.. we have a five year plan I'm a retired truck driver you know I got to go all over the country Canada and Nova Scotia Alaska entire lower 48 got to drive them but never got to stop and enjoy anything my grown daughter has never seen the country at all and then my grandson who will be 14 so she's going to homeschool him and we're going to take off we were looking for something like this that can house all three of us and still go anywhere and everywhere we want during any season but nobody's wants to share their sleeping space.
Really? Could have used a US chassis but chose a German one. I don’t care where something is made. Just want quality at a fair price. Enough of the US made as much as possible. Much more was possible.
33" tires are totally adequate for taking this to it's limit. If you can't get somewhere with these tires you are probably going to need a tow from being stuck some where. Watch Matts off road recovery to see many people who thing their big rig is off road capable
This looks like the Ekko Killer a lot of us have been waiting for. A couple of questions / thoughts… looking forward to the cargo carrying capacity being posted. And would you please consider locking or relocating the gravity fill? And SO HAPPY to see that the steps are NOT powered. Wow, the venting above the shower door near the galley exhaust fan… brilliant! And is there a grey dump switch inside?
Gray dump is manual. Potentially could be powered via a switch if we found a ball valve large enough for decent flow. Where are you thinking for the gravity fill?
@ Thanks for the quick response. The gravity fill could be as simple as some sort of locking cap, or potentially behind an access door (e.g. the Ekko has a door where all plumbing is accessed). I wish I could be more specific, but I suspect that this will be an issue with buyers (27 North had a similar concern for some early models, and ended up putting the gravity fill behind a small locking access door).
@ That would be ideal! And I’m looking forward to hearing about the cargo carrying capacity… the Ekko (both) are roughly 1,500 lbs depending on builds, which is pretty marginal with a 50 gallon fresh tank and all that storage. I’d love to see 1,600+ lbs so owners can take advantage of all that storage space. And thank you for the quick responses… you guys have been on the short list for our next van (or small C) for a while, I look forward to hopefully working with you in the not-too-distant future.
This tics a lot of boxes for us! Maybe just became a favorite. One thing we’ve learned, you’ll never really know if you love it until you get in it! Where can we get an in-person viewing? We are in north-central WV.
We spend alot of time in yellowstone in jan and Feb how will this handle those temps with tank pads? Right now our main purchase option is the Ekko. We love the layout and setup but our main concern and question is how low will the tanks and lines handle montans and wyoming temps in winter.
That is the expedition vehicle for the common man and thank you for doing it gonna be calling you guys very soon. Gotta set up my VA mortgage and buy your van or classy whatever
i am afraid to ask the price, gas milage? demensions of the back storage how wide the opening? my bike is trike and is 31 inche wide on back and 80 iinche total lenght. 45 inche high, total, nice looking rv.
Introductory pricing is mentioned in the end of the video. $199,500. Mpg is per user. I got around 17. The trike is super high. Won’t fit. For reference the interior is 78” so your trike is higher than the bed counters etc.

@@nomadrvs I work in a similar industry here in the UK. Happens all the time, you build a stunning vehicle then something extremely small catches someone’s attention and it’s game over 😂😂
@@dezderrington4285exactly. Or the wood piece so,eons used to hold the bench top open while the poly dried and it was left inside. 🤦🏻♂️
Love this floorplan and how airy it feels inside! I've been looking at other B+ vans. Any chance of getting this onto a Ford Transit chassis in the future?
As of now there is no plan to be making it on the AWD ford transit
I love this unit. It checks all the boxes for what I would want in an RV. Are they being sold manufacturer direct or will there be a dealer network ?
Currently we are doing manufacturer direct to the customer. This way we can offer more options color wise.
Crisp, clean design. Love it! Like the metal cabinetry.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Appreciate that! It's nice to see people appreciate the small details.
I like how the back angles up!
Thanks!
Beautiful......makes me want to take the leap!
Thank you and appreciate the kind words.
I hear ya!
Fabulous Windows, AC and frig!
Thank you!
Top notch! Well done 👍
Thank you 🤙🏼
Wow!! Awesome rig!! It must be heavy with those building materials. 17mpg… 4 cylinder? 24 gal tank? Still, thanks for sharing! Looks amazing!!
It’s a 1 ton chassis. Turned to a RV. You should see what other RVs get mpg. This is much better.
Awesome rig. NJ built, nice.
Yes, it is!
Thank you! 🤙🏼
Best thing I've seen. Finally something worth my money
@@joellynparks7805 thank you
Sick ride man. I want one
What did you like most about it?
@ it being compact without having to make sacrifices. Still learning about RVs but this channel helps
@@dripptavisI appreciate you noticing my vision on doing exactly what you said. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks for covering these types of builds. I do wish you shot with a slightly wider angle lens. Its kinda hard to really get a feel for the space unless youre at one end looking back.
That’s funny. After shooting the video, Patrick brought up the point of a wider angle lens.
@ awesome! 🙌🏼
Wow that's really great. I would love to have one.
It's awesome, right?
Thank you! What was your favorite part?
How would you deploy the stairs when exiting from the height? Kneel down and pull out the stairs?
Exit out your drivers or passenger door.
Okay! Kept watching and you sort of answered my questions. All except CCC and TV. Thank you!
@@michaelwoo4279weighing it soon and will have that number but it’s going to be a ton! And yes we could do a TV without question.
@@michaelwoo4279 you’d lose interior height above the bed since I cant go down much due to the systems.
It's really nice and well thought out. Yet the price is almost what a conventional house would cost depending on what state you would be.
Highly depends on where you live. But it’s a house on wheels 🤙🏼
Looks awesome! One question, where is the toilet paper roll? I didn't see it anywhere.
Plenty of cabinet colors to choose from
Very nice design. Great job!
We are still working on a thermal divider curtain.
Between the dinette and garage is all the systems and water tank etc so can’t really access
@@nomadrvs thanks for the reply. I'll be looking to upgrade in the future and will definitely consider one of your builds.
@@MikeChampionTravelsready when you are 😎
I like this one by far ❤
Thanks!
@@nomadrvs Great idea to move the batteries inside.
@@paulbailey5915 yup! It was the original plan then I didn’t think it worked so we designed the heated box. But now that it’s built it will work to have them inside.
I'd like to see a shelf or some hooks in the shower to place shampoo/soap, somewhere for TP, and a hook just outside for a towel.
Good thoughts 🤙🏼
Awesome build - this thing is sick. American made as much as possible.....nice :-)
Thanks for the appreciation!
Really? Could have used a US chassis but chose a German one. I don’t care where something is made. Just want quality at a fair price. Enough of the US made as much as possible. Much more was possible.
I need and want one of those. It's awesome.
Thank you!
Love this thing. It would be next level with BIGGER more aggressive tires and a cool wrap!!
Bigger than 33” AT’s? How big we going 😈😈😈
33" tires are totally adequate for taking this to it's limit. If you can't get somewhere with these tires you are probably going to need a tow from being stuck some where. Watch Matts off road recovery to see many people who thing their big rig is off road capable
Nice rig well thought out. Can the dry flush toilet be substituted with a cassette toilet?
Yes. Or composting. So 3 toilet options
Yes, absolutely
Well engineered I like how you said you set up the troughs for the utilities piping or electrical wiring
Thanks!
That thing is sick!
Thank you. Best feature?
@ the size, simplicity, and quality of
Wow! Just like an winnebago Ekko ,but without the issues i hope😂
Far from like it but I see what you mean. For instance their cab connection is plywood. And we all know the cheap materials/products used.
For 200k what is the warranty? On everything?
very impressive. Love our Storyteller LT but..,
Thanks! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I think it's a great option for a smaller class C!
wow, super cool.
It is a really great little RV!
Thank you! What is your favorite part?
@@Harp4Hand I thought you meant location. We plan on doing a locking door for security
Looks awesome! It would be nice if the kitchen was on the passenger side.
It’s definitely a good design.
Thanks!
@ is it possible to have people sit in the back while driving or is this only for 2 in the cab?
@@woolengrapplerit’s allowed. We can add lap belts
That is nice. Well done.
Thank you. Favorite feature?
This tics a lot of boxes for us! Maybe just became a favorite. One thing we’ve learned, you’ll never really know if you love it until you get in it! Where can we get an in-person viewing? We are in north-central WV.
This demo model is in NJ.
Ready when you are 😎 we have a broker as well for financing

$199,500 right now 😎
@ 😅
I need a back window just to gaze out and make it more stealthy, all one color then I’d be interested.
Easy modification
Back window optional.
Love it! And dry flush: smart!!!
i am afraid to ask the price, gas milage? demensions of the back storage how wide the opening? my bike is trike and is 31 inche wide on back and 80 iinche total lenght. 45 inche high, total, nice looking rv.
Introductory pricing is mentioned in the end of the video. $199,500. Mpg is per user. I got around 17. The trike is super high. Won’t fit. For reference the interior is 78” so your trike is higher than the bed counters etc.
Patrick.. is the camper shell made by those Girls you featured from Toms River? I'm retired from Sunbird/Camping World Lakewood RV sales. I think this IS the perfect rig..!!!!
No, different company
They went under. Chinese components too.
I appreciate the kind words! Especially knowing you’ve seen a ton of rigs over the years
Yes Yes Yes. I owned a Tofino for 2 years. This van might be the most complete, well thought off in the smaller class B+. I was as impressed by the vehicle as the tour. Very well done....Yet, as others have said, the price is way too high for me. Looking back, my Tofino by Pleasure-Way was maybe the best middle ground: solar panel, lithium battery, gas heater, 2 burners induction cook top, sink, bug screens for $75,000.00 out the door. What kind of world do we live in that a $220,000 class B van should be alright?
It’s a class C but the vehicle itself is nearly $75,000 to buy. Just the cab chassis to start with. ☹️
