I had a LOT of decel pop on my Stage 1 - 2017 Softail Heritage. That's why I bought the FP3. I think the X means you don't want any pop..1 firecracker = you want a little pop...etc. I put new map on X and it KILLED all the pop. Does that make sense. You make it sound like the symbol is how you bike is doing prior to the new adjustment. I think it means how you WANT you bike to sound. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
Yeah, your wrong mate. It’s the complete opposite. 1 fire cracker means you currently already have a little decal pop you want to fix... 3 fire crackers means you currently already have a lot of decal pop you want to fix. If you select 3 firecrackers, that should kill all decal pop entirely but you will be using more fuel aswell because in order to fix decal pop, you need to pump more fuel into the system to eliminate the pop. All of this is stated in the PDF Manual for the product when you download the app

Off topic, but on topic. I want to add cruise control to my 2021 Fat Bob 114 (when it gets here). I thought I read that the FuelPak can enable cruise control in the ECM so I don't have to go into the dealer, is this true? Thanks for the help.
I have upgraded my 2016 Iron 883 with a S&S kit to a 1200. My bike is not running without cutting out and pooping..... I was told by a teck at Vansen Hines that the kit " 482" Hooligan is not compatible and we changed back to stock cam and injectors. Any Help?
I've got a 4" Rhinehart exhaust with a screaming eagle extreme flow air filter, running a screaming eagle pro street tuner. Could I change the tuner only, to the Fp3 ??
Not only can u, but I highly recommend it, will open your bike up right away & make it more adj for future mods. Been running FP3 on 2017 RG since new, w/ Bassani full 2-1, SE Ventilator & cam. All map components were in there, & u can also email V&H from the app & get a custom tune if u want. I recommend doing a base w/ ur set up, then creating an “Autotune” off that base which peps it up more. On either tune, not only can u deal w/ pop, but also throttle progression if your in a throttle by wire & if u keep it plugged in the bike while riding, u get live data readings for HP, torque, RPM, temp, oxygen, etc. 4th tuber I’ve owned & definitely the most customizable for the user, even more so than my Zippers Autotune
Nothing like a powerful decel backfire, only pussies don't like that; I just recommend getting a non-baffle map, remove the baffles, add some torque cones and you're good to go. You're gonna get better throttle response across the powerband and the sound you're gonna end having is the classic harley drag-pipe jay break sound pff!!! is astonishing and bad as hell!, trust me I know, cheers!, enjoy! 🍻🍻
I'll love that decel pop ! I love it when the bike sounds better coming off the throttle.
on a Carb bike, hit the kill switch off and hit it on instantly and crack booom fireball its awesome
Went from popping to splattering so much better
my 13 streetbob pops a good amount but usually if i drop the throttle off all the way fast. if i keep it cracked a little itll lessen the pops
thank you! I always wanted to get read of the pop ups ,but instead I was changing the maps which never fixed it...

I like when my bike sounds like the car in uncle buck 🤣
Do you need to have done an auto tune beforehand to have this feature be successful?
I'm I doing something wrong. I was looking to add decel pop?

How can you tell if it's a backfire or deceleration pop?
Yeah why would you want to get rid of it? I don’t understand lol

Can you use fp3 with New Cam ? HD dealer is telling that is not good quality product.
Question I have a 2020 softail 107 and Im getting decel pop after I autotune my bike, where should I set it at?
Mine is doing the same thing after auto tune. What did you do?
Would those work on my 09 Nightster with Screamin eagle mufflers that I debaffled?
Yes www.jpcycles.com/product/752-779/vance-hines-fuelpak-fp3-fuel-management-system

Yep, no problem.

okay but how do i add more decal pop 🤘🤘🤘
do the opposite of the video.
That’s what I’m talking about. Wtf are we talking about killing decel pop for it’s a god damn Harley Davidson not a Honda.
@@BossMan302 I'm looking to do it in my Goldwing lol
Does the 2007 -2013 FP3 fit on my 06 roadking? Doesn't say anything on website ....and i seen road king 02 -2013 ..please help ... 06 eith an 88
No it does not. V&H doesn't make FP3's for models older than 2007.
Has anyone had any trouble finding a spot for the FP3 in the 2020 low rider s? There is practically no room for it.
You do not have to leave it on the bike after you make changes to your tune.
Cram it in there and zip tie it thats what I had to do
Find a spot, add some zip ties
Are the decel pops bad for the bike?
No. Just a small bit of unburnt fuel. As it mixes with the air, get a little pop
@@fieldday500 Sweet thanks!
1:20 how more fuel kill decel pop..?????
because decel pop is caused by the engine running lean when you close the throttle. Add more fuel to richen the mixture and it eliminated the pop
My bike still decel pops at around 2-2.5k rpm I tried all the modes but yet still let’s off a huge pop even when I switch gear
We can remove the pop by cutting ignition on decel and by cutting fuel also..?
pop is still there. meh whatever
Hi guys I have 120R cubic screaming the motor is in a 09 Fatboy Softail will a FP3 tuner marry up to it or what would be another option
