why am i pinned?
ur not
bro is not him
@@tenooji_what do you mean
should i?
My bad, you are pinned
Bro is unlocking the powers of manim. Fancy animations coming up!
You forgot to mention the generation of the processors whereby an i3 13 gen might be faster than an i5 10th gen…so the numbers tend to vary depending on what generation you’re referring to.
Shit, you're right
I guess it doesn’t matter too much. If you’re buying a new laptop you will get something from the last couple generations and the performance difference is barely noticeable.
love ur step by step explanations
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos... thank you for the work 😁
ur films getting better and better
Great stuff man 👏
Sadly the intel naming scheme (with the i) is already outdated... But otherwise, one of the best videos! Put it into my "when friends ask me for tech advice, show them this" playlist :D
FYI: If you're a web developer, even a M1 macbook air will be more than enough. If you're like me, and can't stand the sound of laptop fans, an Air is the best option right now.
I do a bit of long 4k video editing on Resolve 18, Main use is Graphic design on Latest softwares like Photoshop, Illustrator, And another main work is uiux, on figma.
Handles everything smoothly 98%, and the rest of the 1% is just minor lags, and wait time nothing serious.
I also use safari, and few other background apps open at the same time.
Base M1 Air, 8Gb, 256.
I completely disagree, with the lack of inclusion to avoid 8GB for the air. It's not just now, it's the future as well. Talking about now anyway, I currently use ~20GB RAM with VS Code, github, Safari and a couple Office apps open. I don't have a job, yet I use quite a bit. MacOS does use as much as possible, but porting this workload or any workload beyond to 8GB RAM is impossible without there being severe memory pressure and massive swap sizes. Get 16GB, not 8. If you want longevity in an already overpriced laptop, get 16GB.
(I currently use an M1 32GB 512GB MacBook Pro. I switched from Windows laptops with 64GB RAM)
@@Weaselszone well, I wouldn't recommend anybody buy 8gb, ever. I use firefox, with a huge next.js project open in webstorm, and the dreaded MS suite. Haven't run into memory issues yet.
I'm on a 16gb M1 air.
very informative and not boring fk yeah man. thats what i have been searching for macs
Those python animations are sooooooooo smoooth. Nice
Solid video! 💯💯
Thank u sir
FINALLY TOOK YA LONG ENOUGH! I'MA WATCH THIS VIDEO UNTIL IT ENDS!! WWWWWW
As a student, 300-500€ laptop without a gpu are enough. I could last a good 6-8 hours with a 2020 dell. Idk if it was linux or not but I was super happy with it.
Really good video!!! R
Bog do you recommend the “space black” color? On the M3 Max
I don't know, I haven't used it nor seen it irl, looks cool though
I want to buy laptop infix y1 neo plus (celeron processor), is it good for online class ( 8 hours/ day ) ?
{ Currently i am doing class on App having size of 500 mb on Play Store ).
Please suggest
heyyy, would it be possible to get the custom mac mousecape cursors ? im rlly a big fan of your work
Hello, which cape are you talking about?
the custom made ones you said you modified in your mac os cursors vid (similar to windows but better quality etc)
would mean alot
Shoot me an email, I'll send it to you if I don't forget@@Unidentifyed
Thanks
If you want a nice business class laptop with amazing build quality a decent screen good battery life nice keyboard and amazing speakers, I recommend getting an HP EliteBook. They're really incredible laptops, and they have sizes going from a 14-inch screen like I have up to I believe 16 inches. Also, they're dead silent until you actually put the CPU through its paces. Additionally, If you aren't into Intel, they now offer AMD options. I love mine, and it's really quick still even to this day, and I have an 8th gen i7.
Great Video🎉❤,
It was funny, creative and educational!
And I use Arch GNU/Linux,btw😉
lol, thanks!
0:20 made the whole animation in my own script:) but how did you do that yellow line around the sentence "People who don't need a laptop" that instantly disappeared?

great vid btw
pls make a pt2 (advanced) course about manim, i loved it so much and learned a lot
Lol nice, pretty accurate. I used Dot() instead of circle for the bullet points. You can add that yellow line with Circumscribe(). For example self.play(Circumscribe(T4)).
Damn, that's good to hear, I need to get to advanced level myself first xd
@@bogxd ohh thank you, i tried it with
sr5 = SurroundingRectangle(T4, color=YELLOW)
self.play(DrawBorderThenFill(sr5))
self.play(Unwrite(sr5), reversed=True) 😂
Be careful about the "more wattage = higher performance" statement. In a lot of cases this is true, but there are a few cases (especially in laptops), where the same GPU at a higher wattage performs almost exactly the same but further ruins efficiency. It highly depends on the silicon and if the laptop chassis can effectively cool the higher wattage configurations in the first place. iirc there is a razer laptop with a 140 watt gpu that COMPLETELY wastes its potential but tacked it on there for a marketing gimmick.
@Bog How did you switch desktops at 6:40?
Drag up with three fingers, click on the + icon at the top right and you'll create a new desktop. Then you can swipe with three or four fingers on your trackpad to switch to it.
2:06 I heard “Arch Linux”
super regret getting my MBP 8gb couple years ago
Nice animations! :)
Thanks!
yeah, i love them
love how Linux snuck in the subject 👌😂
for the first part
remember when you buy a laptop
It comes with a screen, keyboard, trackpad and PS and everything compacted in one place.
So it's not more expensive than desktops, it's semi balanced.
yes its less performance but
laptop is laptop
If on budget like 600 and below stay away from new stuff go used always a better experience
Are all the animations in this video made with python?
yes sir
You used the python animations!!!
just use arch btw.
lol
the Linux part killed me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Get a framework if you can afford it
Why won't i be pined?

ech, not enough memes
lol
Why did you delete my comment? Because I exposed that you copied another UA-camr video and didn't give him credits?
looks like noboilerplate rip-off
3:2 laptop is better
Times new roman. 4:27
Dude you forgot about Linux
Dude you forgot programmers :'(
Game?
No -> M1 macbook air
That's dumb. Mac can't run Ansys, fusion 360, autocad etc.
There are various other use cases of a powerful gpu besides gaming
