3 years ago I paid $89 for the 3 piece rolling tool box set and I bought 2 of the clear top organizers for $29 bucks each for a total of about $150. I have been from job to job for 3 years and not have anything go wrong with this Rigid stuff. They are TUFF. If you need some basic stackable boxes that are virtually indestructible, for the money you can NOT beat these Ridig boxes. I hope Rigid comes out with MORE accessories for these.
Hi Tim, as always very sharp travel case, great for a mobile mechanic, the stacking is a good thing to load your tools, excellent quality video, ty, Bob,
You have to order them on line. The HOME DEPOT I went to did not have them in store. But I ordered it at the store and received the 28 in box in less then 24hrs. A great purchase.
i went in today and they had the medium case and these small cases up in the stock top in cardboard boxes. it was crazy busy and had to wait a while to get people out of the aisle to close it off, they got them down for me and i got two small cases of the three in the box, and one medium from its box of two. i got the clear top organizer case, and this 28" wheeled tote, clamped them all down together and rolled them right up to the register. they were able to ring up all but the two small cases, some yahoo had already knocked them out of inventory, so the system wouldnt ring them up. it took forever to get two different managers to come over and try to figure it out, my shopping trip was probably 2 1/2 hours. im gonna be chatting with support to figure out how we're gonna enter them for warranty.
I feel like these boxes would sell like gangbusters if they had a drawer system especially big drawers for big tools, stacking and unstacking is for the birds
Here in the UK, they go by the Magnusson name sold at B&Q! Great system. I've got the larger top opening box with wheels, with a rear pull up telescopic handle. Really solid!
I'd like to see a comparison with the Craftsman Trade-stack vs the Ridgid modular system (22 inch I believe). They're nearly the same price and both have a lifetime warranty so I wonder which is better.
I have the 22" rolling storage cart with the toolbox ,the organizer, and the crate it's actually a really good system... I think I paid about a 100 bucks for all of mine.... I'm going to get the 28" roller here pretty soon... Good stuff TJ....👍🏁
I ran these for years and I love them. Work great, but the packout organizers won me over. But I still have rigid organizers in my van as they work great
Can't argue with either one. Yes, Milwaukee Packout is probably the best system out there, but the Ridgid does a great job, especially with the price. Thanks for watching.
good news, theyve got a 2.0 series in stores now, they can latch in with these gen 1 boxes but the accessories dont seem to be reliably interchangable between them.
I tried to send a business cooperation email to your mailbox, but it reminded me that mailbox has expired. Please give me a correct mailbox, thank you.
With the ridiculous price that the aeg/ridgid quickstacks have been going up they have just shot themselves in the foot because they have made it so much easier for people to go with milwaukee packout or even dewalt tough system 2.0 now. I wont sick with aeg/ridgid now the price hike is insulting.
I have around 20 of the rigid boxes. I have been very happy with them but I will be honest in saying I wish I had gone with Milwaukee's packout. The reason? Because their are a ton if Milwaukee size options within the pack out line. The reason for not going with Milwaukee in the first place? Cost of course. Around Christmas every year I add 4 or 5 rigid boxes to my collection tion and usually for about -$100 for the bunch. Kaisen makes custom foam gorgeous these. It's expensive but worth it If you are an organization nut.
That's a tough one. Yes, we believe Milwaukee probably has the best with the Packout system, but it is pricey. You have a great system with the Ridgid, but just not as many options. Seems like you're too deep in Ridgid to start Thanks for watching.

It’s good their big boxes has handle on top. Milwaukee and flex big rolling boxes are a back injury waiting to happen lifting it from side handles

Thank you very much.
@@Shoptoolreviews always a pleasure
That's a nice box. Can't wait for the Milwaukee to hit the stores. Finally we will store the bigger tools on a rolling box.
Yes, the new Milwaukee box should be nice as well. Thanks for watching.

True story 🖐💥
Not a bad idea, but I'm not to sure we'll see this from Ridgid. I bet those type of features will be seen in Packout first. Thanks for watching.
I think even a flip down side or two would be good so you don't necessarily have to take things apart but it stops having to engineer drawers
I would love to see a drawer system!
Replying from the future. Rigid has released their drawer system.
Here in the UK, they go by the Magnusson name sold at B&Q! Great system. I've got the larger top opening box with wheels, with a rear pull up telescopic handle. Really solid!
Yes, they are solid boxes, and we're impressed with them. Thanks for watching.
Tim, I appreciate the variety of content and video. 💥🖐🇺🇲
We aim to please. Thanks for watching.
Can you stack 2 of the 28-inch toolboxes on top of each other?
I'd like to see a comparison with the Craftsman Trade-stack vs the Ridgid modular system (22 inch I believe). They're nearly the same price and both have a lifetime warranty so I wonder which is better.
I really don't think the Craftsman box is nearly as rugged as the Ridgid. Thanks for watching.
@@Shoptoolreviews are you thinking of the versastack? Trade-stack is their new modular system.
@@b-2466 None of the Craftsman modular systems are better than the Ridgid system...☝
@@boosted2.4_sky that's great to know cuz the ridgid I'm looking at is cheaper than the trade stack. Thank you for the feedback guys.

It really seems to be great stuff. You should really like the 28" box. Thanks for watching.

i don't get why they make that big tool box with the slot in the middle but they don't produce the divider
Agreed
Does anyone know if Ridgid will ever come out with new tool boxes?

Ridgid where are the drawers? Your behind Milwaukee and dewalt
Hopefully very soon. Thanks for watching.
Tim- 100lb rating I’m sure we can exceed that with no problem
Ridgid- *heavy breathing*
Exactly right! lol. Thanks for watching.
It is durable enough that I shot an entire video standing on top of the box, moving around and even squatting on it. Mind you I am almost 275lbs.
That's pretty good, can't argue with that. Thanks for watching.
I tried to send a business cooperation email to your mailbox, but it reminded me that mailbox has expired. Please give me a correct mailbox, thank you.
22' one aint new, many years on market in EU they can be found under KETER / MAGNUSSON brand as well
Correct. Keter makes these. Thanks for watching.
didnt age well.. they go for $90 just for the rolling box now..
Sell me the 28" box Sir 👍
It’s $89 now so that’s a 53% price increase in 2 years for a glorified piece of plastic with some rubber and a little bit of metal.

Home Depot? The shelves are emptying on almost everything.
Seems that way, but have seen these in some stores. Thanks for watching.
The wheels are too small and the handle grip material will fall apart quickly.
On the small 22" boxes I remove the plastic inner lid liner and replace it with a peice of kaisen foam. They sell them precut for these boxes.
Great idea.
Where are the precut foam sold?
@@misterm7086 search for Kaiser foam, then go to the box brand you own. They make them for DeWalt, Milwaukee, and rigid.
I wish they made a 4 wheeled buggy that held 2 stacks.
That does seem like it would be a great addition. Thanks for watching.
