Just found this tutorial! I love it. I think I can do it. You explained it so well. It is so beautiful! I’m 70 but I’m going to do it! Thank you so much!❤️
Beautiful! This project is something that interest me. Thank you for sharing and I thank you for your tutorials. They are very, very helpful. Great teacher!
I have made this blanket twice now. I love it so much.
So glad it's a good project for you Jenny, Anja x
Hi Ophelia. My name is Marcia. I am from São Paulo, Brazil. I loved your blanket. Congratulations for job. It is beautiful.
A very special blanket !👌🏻👏🏻😘Thank you so much!!!Greatings from🇨🇭🏞 Chris👱🏻♀️😘
Oh my!!! 5 minutes in and I can’t watch anymore....I’m getting too inspired 🤩and need to finish my KISS blanket first. Haha!
Wow...I love this! Saving this video! Finishing a project, then picking the colors for this one.
I love this. It looks nice and light weight for a spring or even summer's day!
Well I think I just found the new pattern for my 3 boxes of Scheepjes Coulor Packs! Your colorway is gorgeous.Thank you so much for sharing your pattern! It's greatly appreciated by me. 🙂💜
Will have to watch later.Off to work now. I simply love your tutorials.🤗😘Saving video to watch later.
I love this pattern so much that I think I have become addicted to it. It has many possibilities of color combinations and it works up fast. The final result is always a beautiful, cozy blanket. You can make it changing colors every square or you can change colors every row instead. You can do a gingham-like effectusing dark and light tones of one color mixed with a white or off-white, alternating two diagonal rows: one diagonal row of all squares of the light tone color, the second diagonal row of the dark tone squares alternating with the white squares, a two-row repeat. You can also create a checkered effect by using two contrasting colors, alternating one diagonal row with one color and another diagonal row with the other color - a two-row repeat. Or it can be worlked also with a self-stripping colorful yarn, of long stripes, that will automatically form squares of blending or contrasting colors.
I thank you so much. It's so beautiful and I thank you so much for your beautiful tutorials.
Thank you. The blanket came out beautiful and your tutorial easy and very well explained.
You are so welcome, glad you enjoyed it, Anja x
I am enjoying watching you crochet this pattern and sipping my cup of coffee, sooooo relaxing, of course i want to stert this pattern very soon.🤗
Have fun! Thanks for watching, Anja x
Thanks for teaching this lovely blanket I’ve really enjoyed it and the blanket looks great. Thanks. You are a very good teacher x
I don't know how I missed this one when it came out. Maybe I thought it was made of squares you need to sew together. This is genius Anja!!! I've done numerous C2C blankets, so the concept makes perfect sense and easy to understand, but making it from complete squares, is fantastic! Thank you!
Hi Sigal, I'm so pleased it is inspirational for you, it's a bit odd to start with, but becomes so rhythmic once you figure it out, Anja x
I love how beautiful and complex this pattern appears and yet how easy to follow and understand your tutorials always are. This one is on my list to make.
I have just found your YourTube Anja. You are such a brilliant teacher. I'm going to have a go at this pattern this week when I've finished the blanket I'm doing at the moment. Thank you.

This is a great pattern especially for left over yarns which I have lots. Thank you for taking the time to show us how to make this really pretty throw. ❤️☘️❤️
You are so welcome! Anja x
What a beautiful blanket. I dont think i can do this one but i really enjoyed watching the tutorial. Thank you.
You can do it Connie! Watch the video a couple of times, try slowing it down maybe, try with some scrap yarn first, I promise, it really is much easier than it looks, Anja x
Fabulous Anya!!! You are my favorite teacher of crochet!! I’ve been making your granny cluster blanket… taking my time… cuz I don’t want it to end!! Thank you for your videos!!! Have a lovely weekend!!!
Yet another project that I feel compelled to try. Anja, you are amazing at designing and teaching us such fantastic projects. Feel so lucky to have found you. Counting the days down until next Sunday! Eeeek!
Thanks so much 😊 Anja x
OMG! This just went on my crochet bucket list! I love entrelac and this is nice and lacy. Still keeps the body warm but not too much. Thank you for sharing!!
I love this blanket. I love the way to do it. Thank you to Share it
Love the blanket. Might need to do one like that. So pretty. 💖☺️ Got a bit confused at first. But think I could figure it out. 😁 Kind of like corner to corner.
If you make a gingham-like look with this pattern, I recommend starting with the first square in the dark color tone. Then make the all light color tone diagonal row. Then make the dark and white blocks diagonal row. Follow with the all light tone diagonal row, and so on. It is a two row repeat of
* Dark tone and white squares diagonal row
* All light tone squares diagonal row
Am I the only one that is overwhelmed with this….even though I love the blanket..oh well!
Thanks, Kathy…guess I’m not experienced enough :(.
i am not that experienced either, but i just did the blanket my own way, and crocheted my squares together.
Hi Anja, Thank you for this tutorial. Interesting pattern of squares. The colors are Gorgeous! 🧶🫂
Glad you like them! Will you be trying this technique? Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks I will try it for sure.
So clever the way you join the squares!!
Beautiful. I've been looking for a new way to use my leftovers. Thank you for sharing!!
This looks like so much fun! Definitely found my next stash buster blanket!
Loved doing this pattern, thanks Ophelia.
Enjoying doing this blanket. Thanks for sharing.
Me encantó y todo lo que haces. Felicidades gracias por compartir 👌
This is the third blanket that i want to make of yours. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome 😊 Anja x
Thank so much! This Enterlac pattern teaches me something I didn't know how to do bfor with surity. I'm self-taught and Was Naive enough to think that I had made up a few things but they are as old as time somebody figured it out long before me of course. How silly of me... But then again, I did say "self thought". I had a book in 5th grade and learnt 2 stitches (sc,dc), met a few senile old gals in a nursing home who could remember to do a couple of different things on autopilot which helped me in bits and pieces, how to turn and go back the other way on the chain I knew how to make.
Didn't ever know how to make a project or read a pattern or anything.Believe it or not, I learned how to Granny Square from a guy who used to make bikinis so he could "get chicks" in the '70s. Then, twenty years from the fifth grade, I was hooked on Grannys. From my own invention, I haven't seen or heard anyone doing it this way, doing the starting rows of a rectangle granny square blanket in a unique way, I won a Blue Ribbon at North Texas State Fair and Rodeo in the Art Exhibition Hall with my entry.
i just love this, thank you, was not a fan of c2c but this just seems different and manageable , thank you so much
What a beautiful blanket. Without watching it looks like a lot of piecing together, but here I go to watch the video. This could be a future project in the works. Back after watching. Sounds fun, not in strips, next project on the agenda. This seems similar to a C2C project.
Thank you.
Thank you for such a great tutorial and a wonderful blanket! I am definitely going to have to get that colorway. The colors are gorgeous together!!
Wow!!😍😍 This blanket is awesome 👏 . Thank you so much for sharing!😊🥰
WOW🎊WOW. Another winner. Whose is that dog who seems in love with you?
I believe that is Layla the dog…Anja’s friend Christel’s dog!
@@christinegreen287 Thank you😘💞😘
I like how you’ve joined the squares, awesome! tfs!
Thank you so much, Anja x

I Love this Beautiful Blanket! Thank you for sharing!
I love colourful things, and especially when crocheting, as it gets quite boring when working in one colour. This is such a beautiful blanket, I simply have to make it. Thanks Anja.
You are so welcome Anita. Anja x
Love this…. I am going to try with a variegated yarn I have…💕💕
Simply beautiful..and a great stash buster
I swear you are speaking English, but, I'm obviously dumb or deaf or both! 🤣🤣 I love it but I'm getting confused about how to flip it or how to join the various squares. I'll try watching for the third time. If I'm still cross eyed, I'll just have to admire it from afar! Its absolutely gorgeous. Thank you. Stella
Oh my goodness! This is STUNNING! BY far my favorite one you've done so far and there are so many wonderful ones you've made. I am DEFINITELY starting this TODAY!
My God!!! Just love that!!!! Well done Anja!!! I like some patterns, they look fabulous and elegant.
These are very beautiful various colours.
Very clever blocks and very clear instructions. Is there a color chart for us to follow please??🧡
Shop for your colors and do what you want; apply them randomly as she did just avoid getting too many colors or similar colors in one area too close together, as with any good-looking Patchwork Quilt, you want balance of color, so spread them out or choose to make a two-color diagonal stripe. The first Corner block is your first row. Let your second row be a different color all the way across and so on. The video is your color chart watch it as many times as you need to and you can always go into your settings and change the playback speed to go slower to watch every single thing and to catch every single word.
.... plan your squares to make a two color weave, since the blocks are done the way they are, the whole blanket kind of looks like a weave anyway, if you just used two colors it would look like a basket weave. Make all of your horizontal blocks one color and all your vertical be another complementing color. Maybe doing it in one color would increase the look of the blocks being woven in and out of one another, as though each were long ribbons of some holey fabric strip. If you choose just the right color monochromatic might be more dramatic than multiple colors.
@@kayceegreer4418 thank you so much for the ideas. Very helpful🧡
@@ellenrose2533 I'm relieved that you were not offended --many people don't take helpful hints, critique, constructive criticism, unasked-for advice, or any suggestion or instruction from an obsessive didactic as anything but harsh criticism to their very life and every thought and deed. I just like to pass what I've learned and if I didn't have such stage-fright I would probably have a UA-cam channel because I never had a little girl to pass on what I've learned.
@@kayceegreer4418 Well I'm pleased you replied. And I await for your, at least, one try as a utuber. If that's your passion then give it a go. ✔️At least have fun making and editing a video, you may even decide to post it❣️
I will subscribe 😄. Happy Days to you.
@@ellenrose2533 ♡ WOW, THANKS ♡ THAT'S A MIGHTY FINE ENDORSEMENT ♡

Do u know where I can get the written pattern for this blanket please?
You’re welcome 😊 Anja x
I cannot wait to do this one!!
Oh so beautiful pattern, I love it 🌹💗🐾
Great tutorial! Will have to try it. 😁
I noticed if you flipped your work in the other direction, your yarn would not lay across, over, or otherwise, wrap 'round the last stitch you made when you joined to the other block. I never twist mine that way. It's one of the first no-noes that ever learned, to keep your work looking clean and smooth at the point of turn... yes, the literal Turning Point.
Try it. You'll see what I mean. Besides which, aren't we told at the get-go of crocheting to keep our yarn behind our work? This does that. It keeps edges smoother and in this case, joining these squares smoother.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing 🤗
I love the colors!
I love this blanket I will definitely be making this one. X

Beautiful! Now I want to do one. I love C2C blankets. Thank you!
good channel! good and simple pattern! Thanks.
I just had to know what that French word meant, so I looked it up. Entrelac means "interlock; interlace".
I luv that blanket it’s so beautiful!!
