I guess these are called Porifera- the most primitive animals.. they can't move or anything, they're just a bunch of cohesive single cells. Anyway after this multicellularism was achieved it didn't took much time for the rapid evolution of biodiversity.

We really don’t know that god exist or not. thiest and atheist are only opinions or perspectives not the facts we have limited time and knowledge about this existence, in this case we have to chose agnosticism . In all of those translations, the word is translated as extended, flat & spread. Don’t rely on that only, go to any classical Tafseers (interpretations) the most famous ones are -
