really glad you arent a carmen hater. i was always confused by ppl hating her growing up, but now i see its mostly just misogyny. sure shes not the most well written teenage girl but i think the writing team especially in the later seasons rely on carmen going from in-character to stupid for the sake of a single joke.

Finally a channel whos doing the iceberg on George Lopez! I was binge watching it today and decided to see if people made any theories or iceberg videos on icanwhile im watching this i hope layer 2 comes out.

I’m so glad someone is taking a deep dive into this series. As nostalgic as I am towards it I can’t help to be a little frustrated towards the later seasons. While still funny, I feel like a few of the characters devolved, ESPECIALLY George. While he makes jokes, George still has that wholesome dad vibe to him. Eventually he just becomes a man child, horrible dad, and husband. That being said, I think the show remains good throughout its entirety and the jokes are always funny.
Could George giving his dad a kidney after all the wrong he did him and then the dad dying be a reference to how his ex wife gave him a kidney after he had cheated on her multiple times with prostitutes only to then divorce her, hence dying in her eyes?🤔
I think that was just an old rumor because people brought up a good point that they would've known her ethnicity when they cast her in the show but idk.
