That 90's trailer voice.
I love that voice lol
Gesmoyer I love that guy's voice too. I want him to read me bedtime stories. ;-)
+Gesmoyer Corey Burton, I think it is
***** because bundles of sticks are gay. ugh
Actually, it's Brian Cummings.
This used to be a COMEDY?!! It scared the crap out of me as a kid!!
It was COMEDY?!
It's a *Dark* Comedy. :)
@@Mr.Atari2600 Ok no no no no NO! SPIDERS ARE SCARY NOT FUNNY AND CAT SPIDERS ARE THE WORST!
@@shnagashnaga3831 what about spider pigs?
....? What?
I remember watching this movie over 20 years ago at age 8. Scared the shit outta me. I remember walking around my house at night thinking there were spiders everywhere. This is a scary movie. And I will have my kids watch it one day.
My Auntie just showed me this sindndisn
The Salty Pretzel Omg same
Yeah, I was talking to my wife before searching this on youtube... I have to boys that this moving is waiting for. Will let them grow a bit more, but they will have to see it. Scary ride that movie.
Mamamonkey I’m currently 13 and it scares the shit outta me😂😂
Omg I had nightmares for two freaken weeks after seeing this movie.
It's funny how the trailer made it seem like a comedy, when it was actually pretty scary. Scared she shit out of me when I was young.
That doesn't surprise me considering it is made by the same company that made Gremlins. That movie is a comedy that has real horror undertones too. This movie is on tv tonight in Australia. I will probably watch it
+rachel knight Tremors and Critters are movies like that too!
+Fanwriter f Same... I first saw it when I was seven.... I never looked at spiders the same way again!
I still can't look at the scene with that horrible corpse when it's brought back to America and the spider had been draining it. That scene gave me nightmares as a kid. 24 now and still can't look at it! DX
+Fiona Klem Exactly the same with me O.O Its the only animal that scares me actually
I don't know why they billed this movie as a comedy. This gave me nightmares for years after watching it.
Bookstop1337 John Goodman is great in this though.
John Goodman is great in everything
is more like dark comedy
They should just rename this film to 'Nope'.
Elliott Coe get out ^^
And rename the town nopeville.
🤣🤣🤣
Shnaga Shnaga Nah, the town is FuckThatShitVille, and Delbert arrives on the ten thirty Nope Train lookin' to kick some spider ass.
No, they should name this movie “Fuck This Shit I’m Out”
say what you want but this is one of the best spider movies out there . most spider movies are CG with some stupid mutant giant spiders...
Indeed.
What makes this movie scarier is that those are REAL spiders. They got them from New Zealand
I remember seeing this as a kid an being utterly terrified :D I didn't even realise there were some comedy geniuses in this one since I was ALWAYS just staring at those icky arachnids. Today I also learned a new word: thrill-omedy :D
i agree
This movie is my worst nightmare!!
+Glenn Bill IKR!
never slept again in the country for 10 years
never slept again in the country for 10 years
never slept again in the country for 10 years
never slept again for 10 years!!
is anyone else feeling itchy all of a sudden...
I actually watched this movie for the first time with my mother I felt itchy throughout the film
😫
Haha. When I first watched it and even now.
@@caitlin853 same and my mom was totally fine after watching the movie while I couldn't sleep that night💀
Yep I am
I used to have fear sitting on the toilet after watching this movie
Me too o_O
Ahahahahahahahh. Thats funny!
yeah like me and snakes on a plane.
What do you mean “used”
20 years later, I still check under the toilet to make sure the coast is clear.
You'd be jolly, then, if you'd been in my shoes the day I was taking a shit and a spider walked out of the toiler paper roll
John Goodman... you've got to love that guy.
Finally someone not saying, "this movie wasn't funny" John Goodman kicks ass.
1:37 is his big moment!
Oh yes!
@@PCCphoenix his biggest role ever!
Yes
He's right. Arachnophobia isn't irrational since some spiders can actually hurt you.
well by definition being diagnosed with a phobia means you are irrationally afraid of something. It can be a picture and you'll start getting an anxiety/panic attack.
Given the right conditions, a sparrow could kill you and dry bread could choke you dead. Life is life-get on with it!
maria fincham yeah but you named things with very horrible odds of killing you , while spiders actually present a very real danger especially when your not in a first world country .
20 16 They really don't present all that real a chance. If you live in the USA, the only potentially lethal spider is a Black Widow, and even that's pretty unlikely to kill you if you're a healthy adult. Even outside of the US, spiders are generally a whole lot less dangerous than, say, snakes (which are ALSO overfeared in modern society).
If you go screaming and dancing when you see a huntsman spider walking around on a kitchen counter, yes, that's utterly irrational.
if you dont be scared of them your dumb
They can have the house. I'll go.
MandyDoll they could have the hole country .... CANADA IM COMMING !!!
+MEDIAMONSTER lol
+MEDIAMONSTER that wont work we have spiders in canada.
MandyDoll alaska go to alaska
Yes the spiders can't do it lol
this trailer sets up a completely different tone. O.o
This is horrifying for Arachnophobic people like me...
Some say that it will reduce the fear...I'm an arachnophobiac...would it does any good to me?
This film GAVE me arachnophobia
this movie GAVE me arachnophobia
Yeah LOL 🤩 and when it surprised the mean old guy and Webbing him 🕸️🕷️😵🕸️☠️and Eating him up 😋 LOL 😂 it's actually pretty funny and he Deserves it wouldn't you agree?
they relly make this movie look like a comedy in this trailer
They do, but that shit wasn't funny at all.
Because it IS a comedy.
Christian B No it's not. It has some funny parts but that's it.
www.google.com/search?q=horror+comedy+arachnaphobia&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=ssl#safe=active&as_qdr=all&q=horror+comedy+arachnophobia&spell=1
Christian B I know it's a horror comedy.
Can't wait tell it comes out ☺️
+Christian Lopez u do realize its a movie in the ninety's right?
He was obviously joking you guys....
Sense of humor. Need one?
Yeah, and the year in 1989... wtf are you on about? The 90's have not happend yet.
........ get out
"and an attitude" omfg that made my day haha
Can't get any more 90s than that.
I really love that movie even when myself suffer under arachnophobia. I saw it the first time when i was 15 and i still love-hate it 😁
They did such a great job on the spiders and how they use them in this movie. Whenever and wherever one of those spiders appeared it was absolutely unexpected for me. Together with the background music and atmosphere it freaks the hell out of me. After the almost first half of the movie my heart was like: "I swear, just one more spider and i will quit the job!" And with the great final the thrill was real... o.O
Lucky me, my heart still beats loud and healthy so i can write this comment in honor of one the most entertaining animal horror movie i've ever seen. 👍
It's a wonderful creepy enjoyable horror movie for both; for people who love spiders and for those who absolutely hate them. Arachnophobia - the title say it all. Just lean back and let the nightmare guide you. 😎
One of the greatest movies ever. "Tear out bad wood. Put in good wood."
Love this movie. Its very nostalgic for me. I was 10 when it came out
This trailer is clearly a troll move since that movie was traumatizing and scary as fuck
Abraham Félix López when you are 8 or 7 years old or is afraid of spiders.
I was never afraid of spiders until i watched it
Remember seeing this film years ago and I've been trying to find it.Thanks for uploading this.
Oh I remember seeing this on TV when I was like 5, loved it, especially John Goodman, he's always alot of fun
John Goodman is the Man, i love him in this movie!
1:45
Whenever I see something move with many legs
Yo Swegta you here
1:45
Cohesive plot; danger looming at every moment. Realistic effects *coughs* eight legged freaks.
Good music, good acting. A story that creates intrigue and can cause mild paranoia...
Overall a great film.
This movie gave me Arachnophobia, FOR REAL.
GREAT VIDEO! One of the best horror films I've ever seen. It scared me for days. I'd look around the room, not lean back, check behind dark places. Scary movie.
My dad took me to see this in the theater when I was 9 years old and it gave me legit arachnophobia the rest of my life. LOL
I remember me and my older cousin renting this on VHS from the corner shop in the early 90s, I must of been 7 or 8, scared the life outta me.
Great memories.
A great movie! Many laughs. John Good man was awesome!
No way this was a comedy... That's some fancy re-branding - this was straight up horror!
1:46 me when I see a daddy long leg.
Deracs eb Dluohs uoy lol ikr KILL IT WITH FIRE
idk what yall r talking about i hold em and let em crawl on me :\ the thing that make me say nope is the See Me In a Crown music video by billie. oof
@Chad Kimberley, are you me? I had a nightmare with them and they were like the size of me and they were in every corner of the house
Muito bom!
Apparently the spiders watched Gremlins when they arrived in America. Because I think they stole their theme song.
Don't worry, Gizmo will get them
@CORTEZ CASTILLO It kinda sounds like the one in Gremlins 2: The New Batch, whoever's doing the music for this trailer made it sound similar to that one.
I still can't use the toilet without being anxious because of this movie
I'm literally on the toilet right now
I felt the same way after Lethal Weapon 2.
I saw this entire movie, and I'm going to be absolutely, positively honest: I was not freaked out by it. There were some parts that made me jump a little, but other than that, I was enjoying the movie. I'm also not that afraid of spiders. I just would rather them be in their living spaces, and not mine. Even though I like how spiders eat and kill invading bugs in my house, I would always let them outside and not kill them.
there was nothing funny about this movie
You don't think John Goodman is funny?
Oh really, not really true, John Goodman scenes are so hilarious as hell, this is definitely his best role ever
@@misanthropicisolation4013 oh yeah, this wouldn't without John Goodman nothing this movie and that is pure fact! 👍
What a classic!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE
"There's no spider here." - John Goodman 1990
This was the first feature film to be produced by Hollywood Pictures.
AKA Disney.
Man I didn't know this trailer can be so skin crawling with this orchestra music playing!!
This is how you sell a movie without ruining it 👏
Love that music
Love the "ROCK AN ROLL!" Line.
It's a shame that it is not as dramatic as in the movie.
This has to be one of my most favorite movies of the 90s
Comedy?!? Bro this straight up gave me Arachnophobia for the rest of my life
one of the best spider moves ever launched. The trailer was very dumb, though
I remember watching this when I was 4 Years old, this movie started my arachnophobia. ffs
This movie gave me nightmares as a kid. On the plus side tho, it made me want to learn as much as possible about irl spiders to conquer my fear.
"eight legs Two fangs and an attitude." man thats just me with 6 more legs and fangs
"Perk up Lloyd we find the spider that did this you can arrest him" seems like Jeff Daniels can't get away from Dumb And Dumber lol.
'
K Ninety 2 damn. Didnt realize that.
But this movie was made before Dumb and Dumber. Arachnophobia came out in 1990, D&D came out in '94.
Muito bom!
This movie made my childhood a nightmare.... lmfao
This is one of my all time favorite John Goodman characters.
Its 2020. Let's remake this with John Goodman
Ok so a few minutes ago their was this spider on the couch. I ran to my grandma's room and said "SPIDER. COUCH. KILL IT" After she killed it I told her to throw it in the snow. She put it in the trash can and as she did I said; "CURSE THEE YOU WRETCHED SPAWN OF SATAN!" I *HATE* SPIDERS
Isn't Amblin entertainment the same company that made Gremlins?
+rachel knight It's owned/created by Stephen Spielberg. Amblin usually collaborates and/or is synonymous with Universal Pictures, for the most part.
@MeBenHalpin I almost agree - the most terrifying scene is the opening, when the spider jumps the camera, that was really unexpected and scary. Good thinking, Spielberg!
Always watch this growing up
Back in 90' I thought the movie was OK today it's just painful to watch. The one scene I do recall was when John Goodman is using his homemade pesticide & when it fails he just squishes it with his boot.
hey look! it's harry dunne!
Loved this movie as a kid hehe
Loved this flick as a kid, got find it on dvd or blueray asap!!!
i guess i can NEVER watch this movie...i'm terribly arachnophobic -.-
I do too but it's actually still a good movie.
Off topic, but if that is you in your thumbnail, than I like your shirt and I like your guitar :D
What guitar are you playing if I may ask?
Thanks :D yes it is me and im playing a Ibanez RG3EXFM1
I'm arachnophobic, I tried to watch this and had a panic attack after about 10 minutes.
I watched this movie but was looking under the couch and around me for spiders. I'm an arachnophobic, but to an extent. The small spiders don't freak me out as much as the big spiders.
C.G.P Grey. :P
I love the way John says Rock and Roll!
osp80 I known he didn't in the movie.
I just finished watching this. It's a pretty good movie.
Funniest parts are when the old guys get Eaten up 😋 LOL 😂 wouldn't you agree,?
Watch the trailer for Kingdom Of The Spiders, that's damn creppy.
Eight Legs...
Two Legs...
And an attitude.....
Sound like my girlfriend :P
Cool Ideas your girlfriend has ten legs?
I see you tried to make a joke but it doesn't make sense .
But it's two fangs ._.
when i was a kid this used to be on tv all of the time, i never thought of it as a funny film at the time. looking at it now its hilarious! but back then... 6 or 7 years old.. no sleep was had after seeing this haha
Director Frank Marshall's goal was to make people laugh and be scared at the same time with this movie. Well I watched this in 2021 and he was still successful with it...
I love this movie! But I feel like this trailer didn't do the movie justice. made it seem sillier than it is! I saw this for the first time on video when I was 8.
Yeah. They totally mismarketed this movie. It's a full on horror movie with the occasional funny line in it.
Dat flamethrower...
I remember watching this movie. I think I was 7. Never wore blankets for 3 years xD.
Love this film
i am sooooo arachnophobic omg i watched it when iwas younger with my mom and everytime we saw a spider we would scream and i changed the channel and wouldn't watch it
I smell remake
Matt Belasco congrats you won
I came across it a few years ago, never found out its name, and then I found it here. Thank the lord.
Lol the Disney movie trailer, so funny to hear him here for this type of movie. Gonna check this out for the first time tonight.
This is just me or the soundtrack is a cheap copy of the Gremlins theme ?
Should i watch this one? I fuckin HATE spiders.. I just cant even imagine having spiders on me ooomfg worst fear ever
I need to watch this again i can't count how many times i watch this as a kid maybe Amazon has it on sale let's hope so then it will bring back my nostalgia.
I got goose bumps....
one of my fav movies
mine to, helps them that i have the biggest fear of small bugs and spiders on the planet
One of my favorite 90’s movie and still watch it when it’s on TV and glad it’s watch free on Vudu, sucks that Julian Sand’s character died I liked his character in this movie.
Your profile pic, just scared the living shit out of me. I almost just threw my computer across this damn room.
In the description it says "Thrillomedy Classic", with Jeff Daniels and especially John Goodman, this is comedy heavy but with a scary/thriller aspect.
This film haunted me during my childhood years.
1:31 is the most iconic shot in this film
This is every day in Australia.
I remember watching this movie at the drive in theater. I used to sit outside with my sister. We'd have lawn chairs and a radio. By the end of the movie, we were both in the car!!
Like many other people in this forum, I too admit it. This movie gave me arachnophobia. Truly a cult classic
Good memories!!!
I remember being scared by the trailers for this when I was a kid. But I watched it several years ago and found it pretty entertaining and not too scary.
The more the trailer went on, the more I realized that I had seen this at some point in my life. I never knew it was actually Arachnophobia!
that little boy "Wanna go blow up a bull frog?!" the other kids "OK!" hahahahahaha
Lol if we find the spider you might wanna arrest it classic line right there :) x
A few years ago, while I was randomly visiting this bookstore that I'd never been to before (and actually have never gone to again) I found this great trilogy of books with a similar plot to this movie. An ancient race of spiders comes back and threatens mankind. Except that it goes MUCH further than this movie ever did. I don't remember all of the details, but the spiders had a connection to the Nazca Lines with one of them being some kind of warning about these creatures or something like that.
I remember watching this movie. I think I was 7. Never wore blankets for 3 years xD
