I remember Dastmalchian since the days of “that creepy dude from The Dark Knight”. And now, after so many years, after small but memorable roles, like the Joker gang leader and Polkadotman, Dastmalchian finally has a leading role!

I saw this at a film festival last year. David Dastmalchian absolutely kills it in this, and the 70s talk show angle is incredibly well done. Don't miss out on it!

I'm sure it would be awesome in a festival atmosphere totally agree with that.but watching it at home chilling is a different story I was so disappointed, with this unseen concept it could of been so much better 😢
I love a premise such as this. Not quite "found footage", not quite "tv exorcism" but still unique enough for me to be excited to see this. Hell.yeah

It's 'old' (lol), but the last 15 minutes hold up *(and* make you hold your breath once or twice). 😨
Idea is from a BBC tv program in the nineties that pretended the set was actually haunted and had demons on it .. loads of people thought it was real and zero social media until school next day .. was wild

I really like the attention to detail paid to the era this takes place in. I love it when it looks authentic like that.
Except for the skull mask at 0:53 and the glossy matte black finish of the book cover at 1:13, it all looks very 70's! love it.

Reminds me of that BBC programme Ghostwatch in 1992 . It was a halloween special and showed a woman who claims her house has a poltergeist. No one knew it was fake and it actually traumatized people, even a teenage boy killed himself. The BBC got sued over it.

I saw this about a year ago at an event. It's a fantastic film... I've been anticipating it's release merely so I can see how this thing blows the entire world away when they see it. It's original and ridiculously arresting. Everyone's in for a treat

I LOVE how real this looks as if it was actually filmed in the 70s, the SOUND design of this is stunning, the fact this didnt even show much of the film is amazing. Cant wait to see this. Some of the horror scenes remind me of “Scanners” IYKYK. They really made this feel like a Biopic, so realistic.

Saw this in theaters. Different than the trailer, but also 100% fulfilling and met my very high expectations. It was very reminiscent of the Exorcist.

Polka-Dot Man was my favorite character in The Suicide Squad and that movie is packed with good characters. David Dastmalchian is deserving of a leading role and I’m excited to watch this movie
David Dastmalchian literally looks like People's Temple cult leader, Jim Jones. The resemblance is uncanny. Someone please cast him as Jim Jones in the movie based on the Jonestown massacre.

I remember when this was advertised back in October of 1977! But I didn’t watch it back then I was tuned into NBC to watch The Johnny Carson Show and the later on watched Tom Synder afterwards.
As I was watching the trailer I kept forgetting that it was a movie! LOL I thought it was an actual TV show... THAT IS HOW REALISTIC IT FEELS!!!!

Really enjoyed this movie, felt like an excellent breath of fresh air. I was hooked as the late show went on after a build up and it made me feel cozy and fuzzy being part of the audience so to speak.
I LOVE They are making these current horror films 70s style! They are some of the most disturbing & scariest movies! It takes me back to my childhood when I fell in love with horror seeing TCM74 for the first time. Being only 32 I can agree & see the true terror of those Films. The way they are filmed, the costumes & mood is just UNMATCHED!!!
