Not sure why everyone is so concerned about this. Purely educational video that was not brand biased, which is what made TXG so great. It fits the brand great. Now if the review was specifically why TM was the best choice, or if he was reviewing his own product in comparison testing, that would be a concern. Keep up the great work boys.
Trottie is first class and very knowledgeable. Exactly the type of Subject matter expert i would expext to see from the TXG/Club Champion Canada team.

I couldn't disagree with these comments more, Trottie is one of the most respected club fitters among PGA tour players and is a powerhouse cameo on the channel. Its not like they brought a random golf influencer, they brought on another club fitter. And an extremely well respected professional one at that.
If this maintains an occasional thing to supplement normal content, and it is kept to golf fitting guests, then there is literally no downside.
Just the thought of having ian and trottie in one video grows my IQ by 150.
Nothing wrong with this content as long as it’s TXG quality and informative…amazing how sensitive we are…

I read the title as “Mini Golf Series” at first glance 😂 was looking for windmills and clown faces
Not a fan of using the platform that was built through this channel with Ian and team to push Club Champion without them in the video. I understand TXG is under the umbrella now but in a space so hard to find trusted sources, I don’t want this to turn that way. Overall informative video just saying!
I understand that people only want to see Ian on the channel.. but not sure why there is so much disapproval of a class act like Trottie making an appearance. This guy is as real as it gets. Loved the video and the cameo from Chris. I'll definitely be trying the homemade launch monitor if I'm trying to dial in the strike on my/my friends putters.
Its a similar feeling to watching a sporting event and they change the broadcast over the commercial break. You came for first event not other one. Albeit i do love Trottie but not when i wanted to see TXG. Bound to happen once they went to CC but Good stuff none the less.
Man, I kept waiting for Ian to show up and get fitted! I guess gone are the good ol days.
Kinda strange for a brand agnostic fitting company to show a fitting video done by an OEM employee inside of a shaft OEM’s fitting studio…but informative nonetheless lol
They’ve done collabs with other OEMs before so I don’t see this as any different

This is definitely one of the lower quality videos I’ve seen from this channel. This content isn’t the level of TXG. This is quite remedial compared to the usual advanced content about fitting. Interesting to see the red shaft on the spider - stroke lab much 😂. I hope that Plumbers neck spider isn’t a custom order only.

Wouldn't recommend Club Champion for putter fitting. If you do go, beware. Read the fine print on their order sheet; all sales are final, no refunds. You do get a ninety day window for "loft and lie adjustments". Pay close attention to delivery dates, and expect them to extend beyond what they advertised, and refer to the "all sales are final" comment above. If you can find the same product faster (and cheaper) you are basically screwed. Real pros have very professional club fitters produce and adjust their clubs based upon their requirements. The average guy does not have a requirement to get "fitted" to the level and price Club Champion charges. You are essentially paying a lot for very little. Plus, they will try to get you to get every custom upcharge they offer, whether you need it or not.
The average guy does not need or want what Club Champion is selling.

Lower CG in a mallet? It’s possible but definitely not the absolute. I think this guy is confusing CG w/MOI. The mallet ALWAYS has higher MOI and it’s MOI that resists face twist on off-center strike.
Don’t know why I’m seeing this guy on Ian’s channel. This guy needs to go, bring back Ian and hais more accurate, detailed and concise discussions
