I'd love a townscaper update where they give the option for different platform types. I love this game but I'm getting a bit tired of having that same old cobblestone path :(
Hey sorry if this is redundant, but you can build access to grassy enclosures as long as it's 'insulated' by a complete archway. You can even get the AI to create paths if you have 3 or more archways that create an intersection on the grid.
I agree with your comment about the requirement for a dirt block. I have previously posted a recommendation on the game site to include a simple wall block. The block could be the same quality and texture as the base blocks . But anything without windows would be great.
I'm so jealous of townscapers like you who are so content with the limitations this game has. More often than not, i stopped in the middle of my builds just because i feel like this doesn't look like the way i initially wanted. I still really love this game tho.
I love the back stories that you come up with for the village, it adds so much personality to all the neighbourhoods and buildings...such a nice watch!
I'm from germany and we built everything from sandstone because most stone around where I live is red sandstone. So both better peasant houses and great cathedrals - and lots of walls - were made from red sandstone. I live around frankfurt btw.
This is a great video of you attempting to build a planned city with this sandbox game on Steam, with a story told by this map. It's simply an attempt at concept art
UA-cam is a very big platform and there is a lot of great content on it that is not available, or even scarce, in the country. I hope that the great content that creators create in earnest will be seen by more people in China. lf you don't mind, I would like to ask your permission to share thisvideo to the other website in China for the embarrassing reason that UA-cam is blocked fromaccessing in China. Of course, l will give sources of the original website.
Visual asmr is a very good way of describing this. I might try playing townscaper like this, it seems like soothing fun. I like drawing maps and this seems to have the same kind of energy as drawing hundreds of trees lol
If you build a bridge three blocks wide and three blocks high (i think) and then delete all but the two lowest outer ones and the top middle one, it creates a tiny house on stilts with a huge hook hanging down from it. Looks good in ports and similar industrial areas!
I did something like this recently when making a town based off a town I wrote for a character I created. But my problem was that when I started putting housing in the grassy areas it kept placing fencing everywhere in a very odd manner. So I got around it by just making more houses to try and minimize the fences. I wonder if there is a way to get rid of them
You can add roads you nned to create an ark then another one parallel to the ark you built and you can do this more and more then there you have roads.
What is the best architectural way to combat the misuse and dispersion of rural space? The best way to conglomerate houses and people to enjoy the countryside and work on their properties.
It doesn't seem like most people understand the point of the game. It's supposed to be a very casual game where you can just add blocks and the game fills in the rest. If you want an actual landscaping program, so many exist for a wide range of skill levels. Why make this game into another one?
Just bought this on the switch and am severely disapointed. You are so damn limited in size and what you can do with a town. Can't go too high or can't go too sprawling. It sucks.

Yea the only different platform type is pretty hard to get and manage
they should add different types of buildings too, like monuments, statues, and market stalls. not to mention mid-rise or high-rise building blocks
modding would be cool as well
I think they should do that, but I also understand a lot of the game's appeal comes from the simplicity of the controls
@@grosboute710 There's unofficial modding

This is the first townscaper video I've seen that isn't trying to be packed and urban. Good job dude!

Looks like someone’s working very hard to grow well. You’re doing good, I think a more distinct username may help.
I agree. Maybe "Heck Yes".
It's a reference to the rapper Sheck Wes
This dude's imagination is bewitching.
Love the intro
Starting with a map full of grass surronded by a wall woul be the single best improvement to Townscaper.
Was thinking same thing, terrain options

i love to hear you fantasise about the city
Great video! I love this game lol.
I’ll definitely sub for more

That intro was pretty cool
Your video was great and I really enjoyed watching it. Makes me feel like a kid imaging story

That was a really cool build, and thanks for explaining things as you went along!

This game is just the best
Bro thank you for making this content, it’s inspiring me for my own builds and it’s also just relaxing and satisfying to watch ngl
I love the story you create as you build
@heck wes if you started a cult what would be it's guiding tenets?
veganism
heck wes you disgust me
@@Beef__89 Anti-veganism is the most stupid thing ever.
Whe should respect everyone's decisions
That was the best intro I've ever seem
“Is my saltwater area too small? No it’s perfect. I don’t really like saltwater fish” 😂
wowww this is so cool!!
Love that intro.
Small world! I'm also from Connecticut lol
Great vid man very wholesome stuff. Keep it up
I have apparently watched this before even though I have 0 recollection of this
Algorithm pushed this video for me and I loved it! Very calming and super creative. Loved it. Got a new sub :)
Such a creative idea!

Lol, I was JUST thinking how all rural walls are made out of sandstone over here in Malta!
How does this dude only have 207 subs
Epic intro
nice
very great build! well done :)
Finally some ASMR for gamers😤❤❤❤
0:07 the intro is funny lol
3:00 it's shape of poland 😳
Subbed cause I love this game
Maybe downtown could have had pavement right until the church or border to the cult, would be a nice contrast
how do you make the ground grass?
If it is surrounded on all sides by wall, a courtyard (grass) is automatically created. Check out my Garden Paths video for a better explanation!
@heck wes thanks!
Your screen resolution is crazy big!
"No one builds walls out of sandstone"
Laughs in rimworld
You can add roads you nned to create an ark then another one parallel to the ark you built and you can do this more and more then there you have roads.
Why didn't you just elevate the roads? one block up? Would've looked cool.

Try doing mount Athos.
