    Thank you for this ! I love your work and to knw you take longer than 1.5hours on a set makes me feel more confident because people have these expectations these days and it makes it hard to feel comfortable and confident ! It put me off a bit. So thank you for all your advice too

      Honestly if you're working in a salon and you're expected to work that fast. Then I understand why . But if you're working on your own and your clients expect you to be that fast. Then honestly you don't need clients like that. My girls never rush me and I always explain to my new girls why I take so long and why I work that way. Yes you can get a set done in one to two hours but that won't be a hundred percent coverage. I love to lash every single lash and of course it's going to take a little longer but I know that my retention will be better because they have more extensions to work with. That's why I take longer I lash more and my clients love and respect that period so you always need to make sure that your clients understand you and the effort that you put in and trying to make them look beautiful. And if they don't then they can go to another lash artist because you deserve clients that will respect you and your time.

    A glue aid actually gets rid of having to have your humidity and temperature in a certain range. It just makes it easier to use any glue.

      Thanks hun. In my video I did mention that I was having a hard time trying to record that video since it's highly requested but I can't seem to get a good angle and all the other angles I would like to iclude in the video so you can see good. And since do do everything myself I don't have anyone to help me so that video is on hold till I can get someone to help me. I'm sorry hun but I'm working on it. It's coming though 😘

    Love your videos. Very educational. I appreciate you teaching us. Would you make a video on mapping and selecting right lashes for the client? I have trouble mapping and selecting length of the lashes.
    Also, off topic. Would you please give me a link for the light ring at the back behind you? Thank youuuuu

    I like your advice cause time is really important. Yes I do stress out my time. I’m working company only 2 hours!!! It’s hard to me . I’m working now only 3 mounts. It’s having problem for my clients retentions and not enough full set would like to work take time work. . I agree with you thank you so much

      @YoyisLashBeauty  3 роки тому

      Good retention has alot to do with how full you get your clients. If your not taking the time to get them 100% full their retention is going to be bad on too of bad glue and how they take care of them.

      Ok I'm sorry but I'm a little confused hun. Did you say your losing clients to a new lash artist? Because of time? Sorry your message is a little confusing.

    Hello Yoyi’s I love your channel ! I am currently on my lsh journey and one thing I can’t seem to get past: is the base of the fan supposed to be flat or can it be stacked (utilizing the pinching method)? What should a proper fan base look like ?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  3 роки тому +1

      I have a pinching video how I show how to pinch and how your fans and bases should look like. go check out that video and if you feel like I didn't answer your question through that video let me know. but I'm sure I show everything you need to now in that video.

    Hello! I am just starting out! Should I get me expensive lash glue now when I am building my clientele or can I use a more affordable glue etc until I get into my actual salon?? Any preference?

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  3 роки тому +5

      I will always recommend to invest in good products. I get as a beginner it's a little hard especially if your charging little to nothing while building your clientele. But if your investing in good products even glue then your clients will notice and appreciate it even more. Cheap glue usually means bad retention or really bad fumes and will cause burning or irritation. To me when I started that was one thing that I was always on the hunt for even if I didn't have a full clientele. I was always investing in better glue. Plus better glue means better retention and better retention means happier returning clients. And that's what you want. So it all depends. If you want to invest on good products for your girls.

    Hello , I live in Africa and it’s 80 to 90% humidity! What type of glue should I use and how can I set my room temperature. I am having a hard time with retention

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  3 роки тому

      Well always use a glue that is meant for your room temperature. You can always get a dehumidifier. Cool control the humidity in your room because that is way too much humidity for any glue. Socolashes gas a great humidity glue but I don't know if they ship all the way out there. You going to have to message her on Instagram and see if they do or even check their website and once you put in their address it'll tell you if they ship out there. But yes definitely think about investing in a dehumidifier because that little machine is going to help you remove a lot of humidity in your room.

    If you had a client that did not allow you to use the fan or use tape on their eyelids for easier access would you work around those requests or let her go? She says she doesn’t like the way it feels. No one else I’ve worked with has never complained about this.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty  3 роки тому +2

      Well you need to use a fan no matter what. She can't be that picky. Let her know you need to fan no matter what. If she doesn't like it let her go she seriously can't be that demanding. Tape ok I'll give her that some people have very sensitive eyes so you'll have to work around it. But the fan is a must. You can't let her be rude to you explain to her why it's important to use the fan. If she still doesn't like it that's no your problem. I've never had anyone complain about the fan, tape yes but no the fan 😅 some people are just crazy lmao

    I want to start this journey but I am very scared . I don’t really have any support from anyone and I don’t have a place to start . And idk if I should just learn and worry about that later . I’ve been watching a lot of your videos . Her in the Bay Area is really expensive for the courses . I just don’t know what to do. I’ve been wanting to leave since I was in high school Nd never did and now I am 23 years old
