Has anyone else tried the Lyon Lash glue?
But most small business buy cheap bulk tweezers from alibaba & just slap their name on it & over price them (same with glues etc). I think buying off Amazon is safe . I don’t see a lot of good bonder on Amazon tho

I'm just starting out on this journey & I'm excited to begin lashing (I'm taking my class in a couple of weeks) & adding it to my list of services I plan on offering, but I only have a couple of girls I could ask to try it on since all my close friends & family are a couple of states away. I bought a manikin head for practice & I came across your videos & have been finding them helpful & insightful. I am thankful for all your tips & tricks you provide. It's been an adventure going from the dental field to lashes & beauty, but so totally worth it! Do you have any good tips you can provide as far as building a good client list for people like myself, or have I just missed that video? I have subscribed & will continue watching your talent! Aww yay welcome to the community babe. Good luck on your course! 🙌 So building your clientele will take time so be patient. Post as much as you can on your socials. Friends and family is the best way to get clientele since word of mouth is the best way to get clients.
What’s a good glue for lash begginer

I was train by Livbay I just order their glue again . However I am having trouble with my retention .lynn glue I used because my teacher from esthetician said start of with this glue because it’s affordable.im glad I found you .
Hey hun. Do you wash and prime before you start lashing? And how are your clients with aftercare? That has alot to do with retention.
@@YoyisLashBeauty I’m just starting so I only have my sister and now my stepmom .however I go every week 2 times a week for about 1-2 hours to practice on my sister she’s super inpatient . I practice with the sponge . I made the after care however I’m going to wash the lashes for them so I can see a difference. I feel like I need to be fast cause with my sister she gets inpatient and my lashes are so thick cause I’m trying to get her as full as I can . so I been trying to pick up less lashes now . I took 4 hours to do my stepmom she was super nice and I accidentally pinched her .when I have time at work I try to watch lash videos and I came across yours now I’m finally getting familiar with diffent shapes (doll ,cat,..)and the difference .hybrids volume and mega volume and now incorporating wispy . I fee like I came in this business at the perfect timing however I had set backs . It’s a huge investment.the set backs are I have a job so I need to find the balance to practise . However when I took livbay they are super sweet but they didn’t even use super bonder after the class they came out . This business is always changing so it’s good to stay informed .can I send you pictures how they look .
Taking 4 hours on a set is not bad at all. Don't stress out about your timing just focus on your placement and isolation. If your sister is impatient and can't sit there for long don't force her. It only makes it harder on you since your a beginner. In a way it's good because it teaches you because you'll have clients like that but since your still practicing it only makes it harder and you need someone who will be patient and let you work so you can get the hang of everything. You don't have any friends that can be your models? It's best to practice on as many girls as you can so you can get the hang of things. And only lashing 2 girls every 2 weeks is not helping you out at all. You need to get the feel for different eye shapes and different clients. And the more models the faster you'll get the hang of things. Also did you provide your stepmom and sister with lash baths? If their not washing their lashes with proper aftercare that's probably what's causing their lashes to fall off faster.
@@YoyisLashBeauty I gave them the stuff to wash however I never wash their lashes before doing their sets I just put saline water on their lashes when I went to livbay they just said to use saline water .I took the next 12 days off work I just need more time to focus on doing lashes. However I know having more clients is good but I feel like people expect a full set and I’m not at the point we’re I’m fast I try to do my mother in law and her sister and I feel like they just want to see what I’m doing they are not really their to help me I’m not even charging nobody .and it’s okay I understand.i finish my esthetician program and I haven’t got licensed . I just need time away from work to focus on lashing and studying to go to state board . I will be in Vegas next week for my birthday I probably stop by at livbay and shadow again.however getting other people perspective on lashes helps .
Saline water does not work as a primer or a wash. I was taught through LivBay as well and I used to use saline water and honestly it did nothing for me. And when I stopped using it and actually started washing my clients lashes with a lash bath everything changed for me. Saline leaves a reside behind and imagine all the oils and gunk that is sitting on their lashes and you go on top with saline solution that doesn't even wash it away it just add another layer of residue and your trying to lash ontop of all that. Girl no wonder your retention is not all there. Trust me, Washing their lashes with actual soap is very important. And I can tell you this out of experience because I did the exact same thing because that's what I was told to do and I struggled so much. And once I stopped using it my retention improved so much. And the lashes were actually sticking. If you change that one little thing I promise you your sets will improve.

Aww thanks for the love. Everything linked down below are the only items I use from Amazon. I don't use lashes, nor primer or sealer from Amazon. In my other videos you'll see what I use.

When you aren't lashing and your glue is in the container, does it matter what the room temperature is? Love your videos btw :)
I mean you don't want your mom to be too hot or too cold. Try to keep it at the temperature that your glue works best in. As long as your container is out of direct sunlight it should be fine. But keep your room temperature good.
Do you have recommendations for a good camera to take client pics?
Hey Hun. So for camera I always use my phone. Any phone that takes good quality pics should work. And what I use is a camera lens attachment. I'm actually going to make a video soon on what I use to take pics and how I edit them. But since you asked I use the lens from socolashes.com and it's called the Jena Lens. I bought the black glue from livbay It suppose to dry fast but it dosent and my humidity is right So Im not feeling it Im try soco
Yeah I know what mean. Had the same issues with LivBay. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Yes no remover. She hasn't came out with one.. yet... LivBay lash has good ones.

I looked on Amazon for the soco glue and it’s not on there . Is there a website they gave ? Or did they change the name ?
Socolashes is not on Amazon. I was comparing it to the Lyon Lash which is sold on Amazon. So if you want to get Socolashes you have to go directly to their website. Now if your looking for good Amazon glue I recommend the Lyon Lash one.
I actually saw the reviews for the Lyon lash glue, I did some a lot of people say they wouldn’t recommend new lash techs using it, would you agree? Because I am a lash tech just getting started

Have you heard of someone being allergic to the Soco Lash glue?
No. Not one person has had any allergies at least any of my clients. If they do is most likely because they are allergies to any lash glue period. If they are allergic then it's best to have them see a doctor who can help them out. I'm allergic to lash extensions (glue) so no matter what glue I use my eyes don't take it well. So sometimes it's certain ingredients or just glue in general that they don't take well with. But from anyone I know of nope no allergic reactions. She also carries a sensitive glue in case your worried about allergic reactions
