GOD BLESS TEXAS!!! I couldn’t imagine living in the United States and not being able to properly exercise my rights and freedoms. Nice job on the paint job though.
I start with the light green (foliage color) for base coat. Then natural foliage over it and move on to darker green. That way the “leaves” pop. Hard leaf lines aren’t a bad thing, as long as the leaf colors are correct with the environment you’re in. Branches with leaves work great because it leaves a mix of sharp and soft lines to give appearance of depth.

nice job! I'm tempted to do one of my "others" have one in 556 , one in 762x39 and one in 9mm. Just need a push, never did that to a rifle yet, but makes sense.
Great video. I feel your pain about the gun laws here in NY. I love in Westchester, it's a liberal asylum, right next to NYC. I've been thinking about painting one of my AR's, and this video was very informative. I go shooting upstate in orange county, it's a long drive, but I do it every weekend. The ranges down state really suck ass. Anyway, I subscribed bro, looking forward to more content. I would have loved to see the rifle assembled with the optic, against a contrasting backdrop, to see how the paint really came out, but other then that, great video
Ae you guys allowed to have "Other Firearms"? As far as winter camo goes, I would get another rifle and paint it some grey and white or brown and white. I did one where I did the base coat as grey & used netting and white paint to go over it. I think that it came out pretty good.
Only a matter of time until i join yall and California. I live in washington here and i guarantee were one of the next states to have the feature/featureless ar bs
I would love to but I have a huge family and they all live here and they are the most important thing to me. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe for more. I’m posting a Prepper mistakes / forgotten items video tonight.
@@1888CHAD8881 Yeah, but those of us in upstate NY are basically ruled by downstate politicians. The whole state is a shithole and I can't wait to move.
I've been painting rifles for many years... You did a pretty good job there. Most importantly, you broke up the outline, and didn't get too much of one color in one spot. Regarding the "evil" features for NY... one option is to move. I lived in Commiefornia and when they started mandating things like this, I said to hell with them. I live in Nevada now. Just next door, so still close to family, and they make jobs in both states... Just a thought. It's nice being free-er at least. But one thing I would highly suggest, especially living in NY, or Commiefornia and several of the other extremely unfriendly states, is to make sure your serial number is extremely readable. Shoot a very light base coat on the whole thing, paying extra attention to just barely dust it around the serial number. then cut a small piece of tape that just barely fits over the serial number. Do your contrasting colors next with the number taped off. Then remove the tape. You can leave it like that, or what we did in the army was to take our original base coat, step way back and then very lightly dust the whole thing again. I mean really just barely dust it! This will help blend in all your contrasting colors so that there are no sharp edges. In nature the only sharp edges are thorns, broken sticks and the absolute edges of leaves. But you're looking for something that will fit in any environment in your area, not just while hiding behind a bush. When you're all done, and the paint has mostly dried, go set the rifle in various areas, and see how visible it is. Behind a bush. Next to a common tree, laid out flat on the forest floor etc. If it matches your area, you did an great job. Rustoleum camouflage holds up really well if you actually let it dry fully before handling it. I have a few rifles that are out every year in hunting season and at the range when I'm bored, and those paint jobs are over 10 years old. They have a few scratches here and there around the sharp edges, but mostly it sticks really well. Good Video!! Nice to see a wife that is involved too!

I'm really sad for you Brother. That sucks ass that you can't own a proper AR in the USA. Come down south if you're not a liberal and you will be welcome with open arms. Nice gun though. Do what you can do Brother.

Many thanks to the lady who reminded about the colors. it worked out perfectly for me. Big thanks and greetings from Poland
Lesław Skuza I’m glad it worked out for you! Thanks for watching! I’ll be coming out with many more videos.
Iraq veteran 8888 love his Channel and his podcast they are a bunch of great guys Chad and Eric
Looks awesome. With a malty seasonal area, I would stick with the one constant and make it look like bark, with a splash of green.
Thanks… where I live, this pattern is great.
Step 1. Use a primer
Step 2. Leave New York
100% agree with this one

I’m a libertarian… I’m pretty clear on that in my videos… I don’t believe in any firearms laws, taxes, or any of the alphabet agencies

I moved out of NY and couldn’t be happier
It must be tough living in NY, you have to do frequent paint scheme changes to support Palestine, Ukraine, gay pride, black history, etc.
That’s funny… I don’t live in New York anymore. I’ll be posting more content soon.
NY COMPLIANT….. look at that little magazine…. SMFH
Looks great man.. move to Indiana, you can own just about anything!
Already moved out of state ❤️
Came out good!
Finally, someone who hung their rifle to paint it. Why anyone would paint a rifle on a flat surface is just plain silly.
Should move from the Schilt hole of NY, I did.

“I’m going to camouflage this black rifle. “
*proceeds to make brown rifle
It’s camouflage but ok 🤣
Well-lit Vid of the final product against a solid background would have been nice.
Damn, only a 10 rd mag. I have 75 rd drums for my AK-47s, I'm a free American.

Do not use break clean!!!! It can eat away certain plastics rubbers and coatings!
Move to Montana lol, we have all the freedoms.

Dope paint job, awesome wife...no complaints aside from buying that ridiculous handgrip to comply! I’d easily save that on ammo and training

Wearing safety glasses to spray paint outside... definitely from NY lol.
I put them on after the wind was blowing it back in my face... I’m literally from the middle of nowhere. New York State is huge and mostly country.
