      Even if he is a pseudoscientist as you say, then why so many people fix their lives just by listening to him. I haven't heard people complaining that they have made their life worse following Petersons rules. Have you?

      @@enterthevoidIi Ive watched quite a bit of the criticism and while I have to give them some points it didnt change my opinion of jbp to the negative. I was not a fanboy to begin with, I liked what he had to say about psychology and deconstructions of some bible storys and the significance of religion in our human history. I can see the value we can extract out of those old stories while still staying on my belief that there is no god

      @@strelnikoff7 In my humble opinion, the former Soviet dominated countries, including the former Yugoslavian states, are the West's best defense against the rise of the New Stalinism. You guys know what it was like. You guys have the lived experience that the radical lefties can't deny and are the best ambassadors for freedom possible. I dare say that you might have a responsibility to teach all of us what to watch out for and how to fight it. We (in the west) have taken our freedoms for granted for so long that many of us have forgotten what it takes to maintain them. Have a nice day.

      @@elevenbravo1991 You don't have time for strategy. Outlaw them, equal them to the traitors to the state, same as those jihadists would be - and that's it. Same treatment. You just don't have time.

    • @strelnikoff7
      @strelnikoff7 6 років тому +1

      @@elevenbravo1991 As long as they can identify some disparity in any sense, some "oppressed" group or part of society - they will have fuel and ammunition for "struggle = blabbing and screaming and drama". And - for their existence. The proof is - in 1900's there was a significant gap in terms of economical status, rights and so on. Today - that is not as much the case as in those days. In the west, most of the people live relatively good, and daily lives are not that affected. So - mass of the people cannot be moved by pointing how badly they live. Therefore - they have to find something else. It's tricky, and not easy to level out racial or cultural differences (time is needed). Remember, they are looking for a quick fix (i.e. revolution) which in itself is not a natural way forward. So - I'd say, work on equality and in time they loose that "fuel" too. BUT, time may not be at hand.
      So - I would consider identifying their main point (it's not really hidden) - complete change of the system. Identifying that as a fundamental danger to lives of citizens, danger to the stability of economy, absolut contra to the rights and freedoms and constitutions, in fact - call for destruction of a stabile society - and outlaw that to the point of ultimate crime. Also - cut funds to quasi sciences - in universities... starve them of their fuel. Their crimes to be equal to traitors of the state. Public humiliation and so on. Communism is not a joke. It spreads. These semi-functioning misfits today - will grow up.

    Imagine being his age, after working your ass off for years and suddenly your life changing to become this, just constant traveling, knowing places, meeting people and having so many complete strangers show such genuine positivity towards you and your work. This is the kind of appreciation i thought was only reserved for musicians. Like when a fan walks up to a musician backstage and goes, "thank you, your music saved my life". I wonder what it feels like to touch the life of so many in such a positive way.

    It is like they are meeting the 'Dad' they never knew they had. Not everyone has a Dad to help them grow up. In this sense he is very much like a 'Pastor'; a 'Padre'. In Oxford, where I saw this show, the reaction was more reserved [much bigger hall] but just as congregational, warm and life-affirming. I felt I was in communion with a lot of strangers. May God Bless Pastor Jordan Peterson.

Also makes me look at the media from different perspective since the media tends to focus on the bad points or lies and tell them as truth. I'm getting his book maps of meaning on Christmas. Hi, Mariah! Ive been following your channel for some time now. I found it while searching for vlogs in Slovene because I was looking to improve my Slovene. But I also liked your hiking videos and I thought your family was lovely and that you are such a great example of a loving family. #Goals as it is popular to be said these days :)
    Anyway, I am working on my PhD thesis in literature (in Serbia) right now and things are kind of functional, more or less in my life. They were not functional at all 5-10 years ago. After my dad passed away and my mother had a car accident I lost all of my confidence because all of a sudden it made me realize that the most important things in my life do not depend on me. It was a real struggle to find the meaning again and form some sort of a routine.
    However, I am feeling lately that I should get some sort of therapy in order to sort out certain aspects of my life that still need to be taken care of. I would like to found a family and I would like to be as good and as functional for them. I should also think more thorougly about future career path. Jordans lectures had helped me allot so far. I really liked that he stated some things about genders that most people are afraid to state out loud. I dont htink women can and should do everything. I do like being feminine and functional family is more important to me than my career. I am also trying to eat more proteing in the morning and in general his advice on 5 personality dimensions, depression and anxiety were very useful to me. So, with this comment I am looking to enter your giveaway.
    I hope you and your family have lovely holidays and best regards! :) Jelena Jevtić

Sorry im not the only one, i really dont want to start calling ppl Xim and Xir instead of he and she. And his country of Canada actually tried to make it a law, punishable by a fine and 30 days jail if u dont call someone Xim or Xir if they ask u to call them that.
