My left hand is paralyzed and I really wanted a beachwaver or something to give me beautiful curls but it’s almost impossible for me to use any curling wands and then I found you! So inventive! 10/10 on tape. I struggle curling one handed as well. I use the Conair Instant Heat Spiral Iron 3/4 inch. It works well, expect half of my hair curls towards face, the other half away. It’s not that noticeable. Curls are curls :) I’m too scared to try the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret. I’m afraid hair would get tangled and fried. Thanks for sharing this creative way to get beautiful curls

I had several strokes a few years ago and I have been unable to do my hair since I’m wondering if this would work somehow with a double or triple barrel curling iron,I think I know how I could do it with one of those if anything I’ll just do the wand and be thankful that I learned how to do that from you I have missed curling and flat ironing my hair so much

How long did this take you?! Thank God I don't have to worry about this stuff. Just comb it straight back. and maybe not too much longer I won't even do that as it's getting a bit thin. Still, great idea. I wanted something on wheels so I bought a stand for dog hair dryers (I was so focused on drying hair I didn't think of alternatives). It was expensive but works good for a regular pistol type dryer and there'd still be room for a curling iron. Also never thought of removing the clippy part of the iron. But my wife now prefers a wand type blow dryer with bristles along the wand so she gets a little lift and body while drying. Wonder how that would work on your long hair?
If you send me a message with the measurement of the circumference of your curling wand handle, I will model and 3-D print a custom plastic curling iron mount that will screw into your tripod. I work with 3D printers at Gateway Technical College and this is just the kind of project we are looking for in our FabLab! That tape was janky! 😆

This is a great idea. To develop it a little further. Use a microphone stand and a universal microphone clip. You wouldn't need the tape and have it installed faster and easier. The only problem I see is how to put it on the clip with one hand. But I'm pretty sure you'll find a solution for this. 😅😘
