I do this all the time, it's just so easy-peasy, a couple of minutes before bed and next morning, ta-da, curls. And if you have a really pretty headband, and shove it back to just past the hairline, it makes for a cute Edwardian-esque/gibson girl type upstyle
Thank you for this. I recently chopped my long hair off to shoulder length and I was looking for an easy way to give it some waves. As a busy mom, I don't have much time to spend on my hair.
I need to try that thing! When I've tried this with a regular headband, my hair is so thick it doesn't all fit. I had to do such big chunks that it made almost no waves. I bet the sort of roller-cushion around the sides would help.
Hi Rebecca, I love your videos. I love this not heat method of beach waves!!! Your makup always looks so smooth and pretty. I especially love the color of your eyebrows. Everything I use pulls red on me. What do you use that stays so perfect? Thanks, Cindi xoxo
Love this look! I actually had that Olivia Newton-John album. You know, an album, that thing that you have to explain to your kids, and where you actually play it on a record player. Then you have to explain that too. I am definitely going to try this look and maybe, just maybe, I'lll pull out that album and listen while my hair is setting :) Thanks Rebecca!
Oh wow that came out great. Just bought this at Walmart. Hope it works. I feel like I’ve owned this before and tried it but can’t remember. Either way it was only $6 so I won’t be too upset if it doesn’t work out
Darn! I think I've thrown mine away. The directions on my paperwork for this item did not instruct me to do as you did. I was told to wrap each section completely by itself rather than combining it with the next section, as you did. AND I slept on it after washing, putting product in it and then drying with a hairdryer. That worked surprisingly well in terms of curl but not in looking good. Ha ha. I'm going to look around and see if I can find it and wrap it the way you did. Thanks!
I got headbands with pom poms. Were like 3.95 from Amazon. I just add oils or serum. Leave overnight and it's great. I used to just twist it damp and I haven't had straight hair for years. Because I hate it straight. This really does work.
Do you remember pin curls? Sometimes, you know, depending on the look you want, after the my hair dry, I’ll grab sections, wrap around my finger & pin it. By the time I’m I’m ready to leave, take it down, run my fingers through, light hair spray. Done. Nice thing about this, yeah, no heat, but it also keeps my hair out of my face when I’m doing my makeup.
I did this last night when my hair was wet and it worked fine I was completely dry when I woke up. The only issue is the top back part of my hair didn't curl at all because it is about as long as the place the headband was. The shorter hair in the back curl just fine though. so it didn't look great. I was just staying home so it didn't matter but if I was going out I would have had to use the curling iron to curl that portion. I'm going to try a two headband method to try and get the shorter hair to curl
get out! I did not expect those results! I have curly hair- so this won't work for me-hahaha. Love the final product though!!! (btw:I love 80's references..)
AMAZING! Thank you!On a different note, your skin looks fantastic! When you first came on screen, I did a double take. I thought you must be wearing foundation already. Like you, I have very sensitive skin. I've discovered Dr Weils for Origins Mega Mushroom line. It's very pricey (for me) but the best range I've ever tried and worth the money imo. xx
iwillstom I just searched online. It’s the Localoc head band and it’s still at Walmart. I am literally in an Ulta now and there are three on the shelf. Maybe it’s in a store near you! Good luck 🍀

I tested this with a headband last night and it works beautifully! Thanks Rebecca for sharing!
It turned out nice! Might be a good Christmas gift for my daughter.
That turned out way better than I expected! Love it😘
Wow, AWESOME! Thanks for the tip!
That's cool Rebecca! My hair is way too long to do that with but it's a great concept and I love how your hair came out!!!! 🌺🌺🌺 Tracy
Wow, love the waves it gave you. Thanks for the tutorial. I bought a similar one that had no instructions.
That is beautiful!!! My hair is about the same length as yours! I must get this ASAP! xoxo

I've never had luck with a regular headband. This one though somehow makes it easier.
@@FrugieBlog Where do you get a headband like that? I looked on Amazon and don't see one that fastens together.
My hair is about this length actually - I can't wait to try this with the silk headband I have.
I have long hair but I'll definitely try it. you made it look so easy & beautiful. thank you
I use this all of the time!!
It’s the easiest, cheapest, and most successful so far!!

That style is so cute on you.
How does it curl it if dry? I’ve done it on wet hair before. I’m baffled that you blew it dry and then wrapped it and then BaM! Curls. ?
Spray some water. I used it with my hair that was still a little bit wet and if i woke up throughout the night i sprayed water in it
Love your eye colour
Wow. This is brilliant! Love it.
What a wonderful and easy tip! Thanks for sharing xo

Gorgeous curls!

It looks gorgeous!
Your hair looks amazing!

I did pin curls all the time in school. I always ended up with one damp one that didn't curl!!

Cute! Very good idea 😀
This is awesome!!! Thank you!!!!
You look great!
That's so clever!
I spent a good hour trying to do this and my head hurts and it didn’t even work 💔
Very pretty, impressive for less than hour.
Very cool!
So cool!!!
That is Sooooooooo cool!!!
Not to be rude. But what is the white spot in your hair part?
Oh it's a birthmark or something. My dermatologist has a specific name but it's just a bump with different pigment. My kids each have one too!

I meant to get this product last month when you posted the video, now Ulta no longer carries it. :(
iwillstom what?? No!! I need to hunt it down!
So weird. Just googled and thankfully it looks like some other places like Walmart have it!

Awesome babe! Very cool ...and your hair looks better than "decent" for petes sake!
Heading to Ulta 😘
this hairband looks ideal, but I cannot find it.
First! I've always wanted to say that❤😘
If I had long hair that would be awesome
Can always wear a hat if short pieces don't want 2 be tucked in
The videos look easy but I end up getting my hair tangled people should not edit videos
