@@noisegenerator One of the IVP's weirdest effects is how it disguises whatever notes you're playing. Most Shellac is in standard or Drop D, but you'd never know it based on those gnarly crunches.

Between this and Model FeT, which one has more output that would be suitable as a standalone preamp?
I can't speak for the surveyor, but the model FeT has a ton of output on tap I keep the pedal volume at like 25% and crank the Brite or Normal gains
They both have a ton of output! Not sure which is technically louder, but I find that unity on both of them is somewhere around 10-11:00 to give you an idea of how loud they can get. I'd say the Model feT might be more suitable as a standalone preamp. I think the Surveyor feels like it's more like a drive pedal, where the Model feT could easily be used as a substitute for a real amp into a cab sim or a power amp. I'm sure the Surveyor would sound great in that scenario as well, but the Model feT feels more amp-like - to me, anyway. Hope that helps!
