Thanks for another awesome video. I've had a Futaba on my Amain wishlist with a Vanquish Phoenix kit. Since your last video I've decided this is a much better transmitter.
Futaba is still some pretty high end equipment, I think either would be a good mate to the truck. I’ve been thinking a Phoenix kit is in order for the channel as well…..seemed fitting with the name and all. Cheers my friend
@@SonoranScaleStudios oh, I agree. I still have couple 80s & 90s Futaba transmitters. You should get a Phoenix kit and name it Superstition or Mesa, you'll figure something out to get a "Baseline" name...lol
Just got mine yesterday and I cant wait to get home top start putting the ridgerock back together. That's awesome that i can bind this with my other RTR, if supported. Is there a list out there that lets you know with what vehicles this will work with?
It’s an awesome tx/rx! It will bind to any receiver using an AFHDS 2A protocol (which is a lot of rtr’s). You can also purchase extra receivers and replace any that are not compatible. If you only need 2 channels on some rigs 2 channel receivers are super cheap from amazon. I’m working on the Ridgerock this week. New tires and servos are on the way. Have fun with the gt5!
@@SonoranScaleStudios Sick! cant wait to see what youve got up n coming for the RR, perhaps you can do a video on how you end up (if you do) linking the GT5 to the RR, I'm hoping I can set mine up so that I can flip through the steering modes on he 4th channel, which I think should be no issue? As far as the other buggy's go, they all come RTR but with the 2-1 esc/receivers so I'm hoping I can use this radio with my 144010 and Rlaarlo.....guess we will see.
@SonoranScaleStudios Fellow Arizonian here, not too far from you. I am about to get a ridgerock, what receiver would you recommend for it? I am a new subscriber.l, great work.

Excelente Gracias
De nada, me amigo!
Will it bind to the danchee ridgerock
Not exactly with the 2-in-1 combo and the 4ws. However it would be a great addition and use it as the opportunity to upgrade the esc at the same time.
@@SonoranScaleStudios thank you
