Something I've recommended to others, but no one has talks about. There is a mechanic in every single Pokemon game to date (you can look this up). It's called damage rounding, how it works. At levels ending with 0, 3, 5, and 8 you deal more damage. Within the formula it takes your level multiplies it by 2, then divides by 5. And it takes that as the first number in the equation. With all rounding in Pokemon everything is rounded down. As an example, I'm using the numbers 22, 23, and 24. It outputs the numbers 8.8, 9.2, and 9.6. Rounding down that gives you 8, 9, and 9. This leads to scenarios where; your level ending in 3 will always deal more damage than the previous level. But can deal the same damage as being 1 level higher. And this is true for all levels ending in 0, 3, 5, and 8. I always figured that this is some good knowledge to know when routing your levels for fights.
You’re the second person to comment about this today! These rounding down effects also effect stats and I do consider that when routing. For instance you can gain assymetrical amounts of stats when you level up because it was previously rounded down.
Probably not alone here, but Mareep was almost always on my team when I played G/S as a kid. If you're interested in getting rid of spinners, the crystal speedchoice rom has an option that just makes them rotate in a set pattern. Getting unlucky with spinners could make the difference in a close race! Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to turn off the fast text though, so it would make your last few runs a bit different taking that into account.
GSC was the best time and place for Ampharos to debut. Its low speed doesn’t affect crit rates this gen (and is redundant when using Curse), you have early access to Thunder Punch and Fire Punch, and those moves are still Special instead of Physical. It’s even decent in competitive play, despite the Electric legendaries making other Electric types look dull in comparison. It’s a bit of a pity Ampharos has fallen behind in recent years, but in its home gen, it’s a very respectable mon.
Yay! Excited to see how this goes. Ampharos is one of my favorites and it has an amazing movepool. Just remember to pickup TM48 in Goldenrod and the "hardest" gym leader should be a breeze. Either Ampharos or Lanturn were always on my team sometimes both.

The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666
Regarding Lance's Dragonites: Pokémon have always been able to evolve at lower than the "proper" levels. Evolution levels are an abstraction of a natural process that is simplified for the player. You could find Level 3 Kakuna/Metapod as early as gen 1, and can force Pokémon to evolve under level in Pokémon Go (which is canonical, since you can transfer them into the main series)
Scott Thought’s Pokemon Lunch Challenge #19: this one is a easier than others, I’ll have lamb 🐑 for lunch today. Much easier than decided what ti make for hypno and Poliwrath. I think Ampharos will do well with electric moves, fire punch, return, iron tail and thunder wave. Cool to see this electric sheep get a dedicated video. Love you Scott and keep up the great work!
I actually just made a randomizer for SoulSilver and Mareep was one of my starter choices. Not only is it one of my favs but one I'd always said as a kid I'd enjoy starting with. Glad to see this video out at around the same time I started my randomizer playthrough. Great story at the beginning with your fiance, she's got great taste in her Mons!
2:27 Thanks to a technicality, The Pichu line was the first Gen 2 three-stage electric type evolution line. (Pichu is Pokedex number 192, while Mareep is #197)
The couples challenge is so sweet! I'm definitely going to give that a try with my boyfriend; he is so competitive but I am the one with all the modern Pokemon knowledge since he hasn't played since R/S/E. I might be able to get a free steak dinner out of it. Look at Scott's Thoughts keeping me fed! Also, I think the sprites in gen 2 are some of the best. Obviously as time went on sprites became more detailed and precise but the improvement is such a huge leap compared to gen 1.
Aww seeing Johto again makes me happy, also nice story! I always startet new Pokemon games together with my best friend, where we played an entire weekend, day and night with alooot of candys and fastfood xD Good old times * ~ *
I really enjoyed this run I always use the Mareep line when it’s available in the games and I’m super hyped it’s back in Scarlet and Violet also thanks for another great video and I’d like to see you tackle either Gold, Silver or Crystal with my other favourite Johto line Houndour in the future since I like to have both Ampharos and Houndoom in my final Johto team against Red
I've only recently discovered your channel. But after binge watching a lot of your videos... dude, you bring something to this that's all your own. You're like 1/3 pedant, 1/3 obsessive, and 1/3 extremely funny. Which is honestly a winning combination. Keep doing what you do, okay? It sets you apart from everyone else and is extremely enjoyable to watch.
That seems like a really good way to describe me. I'm glad you enjoy my humor! I'm not always sure it lands, but I find it funny! (I'll keep it up don't worry!)
This won't be too difficult lol. As a child, after I caught a Mareep near Violet City in pokemon heartgold I proceded to use this pokemon for the rest of the game since it literally couldn't lose
My older sister got Red version and convinced our mom to get me the Blue version because I kept playing Red. It was my Gameboy and the only one in the house. Since then, it’s been ongoing to this day. I was in high school when Ruby and Sapphire came out, my friend convinced me to get it but i couldn’t figure out which one so I went around asking random students and faculty as part of a “project for class” which is more preferred Ruby or Sapphires. I ended up grabbing Ruby and got the new GBASP to enjoy it on
I love your series and dedication to the quality of them. Just wanted to give you a quick shout out! Anyway, I wanted to discuss one of my favorite Crystal memories I had in relation to what you talked about in this video at the beginning when you mentioned all the cool new pokemon you can't get until you get to the near end of the game. In Crystal, in the morning on route 46 at the very start of the game you can catch Phanpy. It has only a 5% encounter rate and it's only in the morning in-game. Before in Silver, you had to wait until you got to the 8th gym leader town and look for one in route 45. Getting a pure ground type that early in the game is just awesome. Especially when it evolves into Donphan at level 25 . Speaking of which, that is another pokemon I'd love to see you do a video on! Keep up the great content and thank you again for helping brighten our days with your humor and love of Pokemon!
100% for a sec was like why is he using a fully evolved pkmn before remembering this is gen 2 and that i am very very drunk, Scott i genuinely love your videos and the amount of effort you put into them!!! AUTOCORRECT IS MY SAVIOR !!!
So i actually have a bit of an attachment to Ampharos as well. When my friends and i got back into playing pokemon cards our senior year in highschool (09). Ampharos was my ace that i acquired from a lot of cards from ebay. It was so good we had to nerf it lol. We were playing mostly gen 1 cards so it quickly became my favorite card 😁

Slowpoke guy here, finally got time to write a comment. Really loved this video because I have been doing a Gold Nuzlocke during my spare time and made me appreciate more the Mareep family. Caught one at the beginning but then she died during a consecutive battle... But then I caught a shinny one and decided to use her because I never find shinnies in a regular play. Your video is making me think about how useful the new Ampharos could be and that I can't let it die this time.
Funnily enough, I'm playing through Heart Gold right now, so seeing another Gen 2 run is a helluva coincidence. XD Fleecy is a name I don't come across too terribly often, but that may be because I don't read/consume too much media involving sheep. In fact, I first heard the name as a kid watching Laurel and Hardy's version of March of the Wooden Soldiers when Bo Peep was looking for her sheep (Don't cry, No Peep! Don't Cry! We'll find your sheep; we'll try!) I'm not sure what it is, but the Gen 2 remix of the Gen 1 Gym Leader theme sounds much better to me than the actual Gen 1 Gym Leader theme...and even it's remix in Gen 4. Anyways, great job as always! There's just something magical about the Mareep line that usually has me using it early game. That being said, in recent years if I'm playing a Pokémon game that isn't Yellow and need an electric type on my team, 9 times our of 10, that Pokémon is Jolteon. I'm actually being really greedy in my most recent Heart Gold run seeing as I'm running this Jolteon flush with Glaceon, Starmie and Dratini all of which know Ice Beam. And that's not even bringing up the Larvitar with Earthquake. ...yeah, I, uh, may have used the Pal Park to get some Pokémon from my more recent Emerald and Fire Red playthroughs. Well, aside from the Dratini. THAT one I got through Voltorb Flip.
Hey Scott! Love these gen 2 videos they are my favorite maybe because they are usually a little longer 🤔. Anyway for the UA-cam algorithm I just wanted to drop in and say I love the layout you use for your videos. Showing the Pokemon and their evolving stats and their moveset is just a cool though.. a cool Scotts thought actually. Keep it up man love watching you grow!
Most of the videos are clocking in around 45-50 minutes now. So if you like the longer video, you’ll be happy :) I’m excited to do more gen 2 in the near future.
I actually got to see this one live (sort of) I did not realize Ampherous was so good! I am glad that Denis got some recognition too! It’s been a while since we visited the lighthouse
I guess next time I play gen 2, I should use this silly sheep. As a kid, I hated its design but it appears to be super good. Also it was cool to see me in the credits. Keep making good stuff!

Hey Scott, hope all is well!! I was stoked to see Wobbuffet with my name under it for the first time. Thanks for making such great content, it's why I joined up to support you, keep it up!!!
My friends and I did Pokemon playthroughs where we would stop and battle each other after completing each Gym. The idea of having the winner force a trade of their choice between the two teams actually sounds so spectacularly fun I want to get my friends together again to try that out. What an awesome idea.
Great result for Ampharos! It was always such a charming Pokemon in GSC due to its cuteness and being one of the only available electric types. Weird that it’s not available in Crystal though.
Before watching, I predict S-tier. Ampharos is just *so* good. Decent bulk, strong special attack, and a diverse move pool with good coverage and access to two of the elemental punches.
Scott, just in case a heatwave hits you soon, heres some tipps on how to keep your recording room from turning into an oven: 1. Close the shutters or the curtains during the day and try to let as little light in as possible. Sunlight heats up the room in no time. 2. Only ventilate during the night or right before dawn because the air outside is coolest then. 3. Put your feet into a bucket of cool water to stay cool yourself. 4. Only wear enclosing headphones when necessary and use earplugs or speakers instead because your body ventilates via the ears too and its like wearing earmuffs in summer. 5. Make a lot of venomoth jokes. Because thats cool. :D Hope you get through summer without a heatstroke. And thanks for this vid and the venoking joke :D
As my favorite Pokémon i am happy to see you share the same love for this cute electric sheep line. It's movepool early on is really bad and pretty much only gets better er level 40 when it finally gets a good electric move when no tm's for moves is available yet. Anyway great video and i hope you have a good day.
Growing up I didn't get to use Mareep too much since I played Crystal, Fire Red, Emerald and the Gen 4 games are the ones I replayed the least. But once I started playing rom hacks I got to know how much of a beast Ampharos is, which has made me consider it as one of my favorite electric type Pokemon. Also, poor Bruno, even when he gets to catch you off-guard you quickly adjust and leave him in the dust where he belongs XP
I absolutely love ampharos. Every single play through I’ve ever played in johto I always grabbed mareep. I recall one time I grabbed Chikorita and I really didn’t like it so I put it in my box at about level 10 and played the entire rest of the game with nothing but mareep/flaffy/ ampharos. And of course eventually I picked up lugia and suicune but I always loved this little electric sheep. It’s won a few solos for me when I was disappointed in my party/ training decisions. This Mon was so clutch for me. In order to make up for some of the speed stat I went ahead and gave it a quick claw and focused it’s effort values into special and speed and boy oh boy did it save me a few times. I distinctly remember having a level 32 ampharos and a level 50+ typhosion and ampharos was the one to take out Clair’s kingdra and I was so excited about it because it was so under leveled to that point in the game. I have many stories with this guy this makes me happy you did this run!
I’ve always really liked Flaafy specifically for some reason. I hope someday you do a Crystal run with Grimer; I love him, and his sprite just shows that he wants to be hugged/picked up! What a sweet little sludgy baby
20:05 Bruno: "Laugh at me no more! I've taught my Hitmontop Dig! Your flawless run is coming to an end!" Ampharaos, after getting hit by it: "...Was that suppose to hurt?" I was a bit worried that Machamp would've ended your run right there with Cross Chop, but you pulled through! Edit: Oof, Karen's stepped her game up.
That story with your fiance is so cute! Maybe I'll try it with my bf sometime. I'm not surprised Ampharos kicked ass here, there's no strong ground types and it gets good coverage. Good job Fleecy!
That was a great run, once you worked out the strat you got a great final time, just 3 levels too high i might add... Your fianceè can be proud for your efforts in demonstating what a unit is Ampharos in gen 2. At least i definetly got satisfied, i love ampharos.
Omg my roommates and I used to do something similar! One time we all played FRLG, and then later we did HGSS, you were only allowed the first encounter on each route (similar to a Nuzlocke) and after every gym battle we’d have to face each other, whoever won would be able to take one of the loser’s mons. God those were fun times ☺️
@@corberus3119 you learn something new every day! I had no idea, this was about 10 years ago and my roommate at the time suggested it so we just jumped right in, I’d love to see more Pokétubers trying those sort of runs out
Haha I remember running into that little sheep while playing the ROM right after it was released (as in, in japanese because there wasn't an english rom yet). The moment I saw Mareep I instantly knew it would be an amazing evolutionary line. I was not disappointed lol Edit: _"where's the next challenge gonna be?"_ oh boy, Jasmine should be a fun time 🤣
Thanks to you I chose to do a Cyndaquil run, but as I couldn't set the IV at the time, I ended up with Ground Hidden Power. It tok me so long to beat the 8th gym and Lance. I started Lance at 72, and had to go all the way to 90 to beat him properly. Red was also a headache. I had to go all the way to 100 and add Double Team to stand a chance.
While I love the Johto games, one thing I'm definitely glad they changed over the years is the way they distribute mons throughout the region. BW2 are the first with a VERY varied roster from the start. It's also the first game I ever used the Mareep line in. For several reasons, all those times of playing through Johto as a kid, I just ignored the sheep. I just always preferred to catch Hoppip on that route (it's probably my favorite Grass line) and when my Silver version eventually got stolen, I was stuck with Crystal, which didn't have Mareep. When I used it in BW2 though, I remember it being really really good. It even got Fire Punch access via move tutors in those games (and I always get at least a couple shards through regular gameplay) That Fleecy story is really cute. Or, well... memorable? - I remember that Hawlucha. I was so happy when I played USUM and saw that trade because Hawlucha is in my top3 pokemon of all time. Since Farfetch'd is in my top10, that makes TWO mons in my top list that I got by trading a Spearow to NPCs. Just noticed that.

I think I remember Werster giving out this same bit of knowledge while he was routing pokemon emerald or maybe even frlg years ago lol

You don't really need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life. - Revelation 3:20
Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet
Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power. Once the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD, the Pope was given civil and ecclesiastic authority over Rome; healing the deadly head wound of the beast in Revelation 13, as they took the Emperors title of Pontifex Maximus, leader of the church and state.
“We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.)
Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.)
Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894)
The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD.
Daniel 7:25 says “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” The Popes of Rome spoke against Elohim and proclaimed to be God. They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. during which they caused tens of millions of saints to be killed.
The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666
Regarding Lance's Dragonites:
Pokémon have always been able to evolve at lower than the "proper" levels. Evolution levels are an abstraction of a natural process that is simplified for the player. You could find Level 3 Kakuna/Metapod as early as gen 1, and can force Pokémon to evolve under level in Pokémon Go (which is canonical, since you can transfer them into the main series)
Also like the lvl 9 pidgeotto and the lvl 3 electrode (trade a raichu)
I've done this in gen 1 where I evolve Charmander at level 9 after beating Brock

Frog Legs are pretty good for Poliwrath
The pre battle animations are lit 🔥 love to see it :)
Great video as always, showing that you are one of the best poketubers :3
I re-did them for this video! Glad you liked them!
I love that the first run is like a rough draft and the second playthrough is becoming more of a projected best route
Love this. Ampharos is definitely one of the most iconic gen 2 Pokémon, maybe even more than the starters. It was ALWAYS on my team during my youth.
I only recently discovered your videos but I am really enjoying them. Your overlay is really great and adds so much to the viewing experience.
Hey Alex, glad the overlay is adding a lot! I’m constantly trying to make it better
@@ScottsThoughtsPokemon if memory serves me correct, reds pikachu has 163 speed it's really fast
Aww seeing Johto again makes me happy, also nice story! I always startet new Pokemon games together with my best friend, where we played an entire weekend, day and night with alooot of candys and fastfood xD Good old times * ~ *
Been binge watching your whole UA-cam channel while stuck on the couch recovering from an injury. Thanks for the awesome content! Keep it coming!
Looking forward to this run! Always used Ampharos in my playthroughs! Love your vids man keep up the awesome work! :)
Congrats on 40k, Scotty! So good to see you do so well. Looking forward to 50k. Btw, Fire Punch was the better move choice against Piloswine :3
Also, your Gen 2 solo runs are your best videos imo.
Ampharos is my favorite pokemon and my first lvl 100. Was a pleasure to see! Hail Victory.
This won't be too difficult lol. As a child, after I caught a Mareep near Violet City in pokemon heartgold I proceded to use this pokemon for the rest of the game since it literally couldn't lose
Aaaahhhh "as a child" and "hgss" being in the same sentence makes me feel extra old today.
@@mikebell9759 Me too buddy 😂😂😂 I had the same experience but with the original Gold.
Hearing "as a child" and "heartgold" in one sentence either means that i am fucking old or you are 8.
I ended up grabbing Ruby and got the new GBASP to enjoy it on
@@slowdown8at606 mid-2000s release date.
Yeah! Phanpy is a Pokémon I’m excited to use!
It's so refreshing to see gen 2 again after so much gen 1, gen 2 playthroughs are way nicer to watch in my biased opinion.
How fun to see another Johto video! I understand that these take longer time to make so thank you for all your work! Ampharos is such a legend!
I love how thorough you are with these runs, Scott. Good work!
Ampharos has always been a top favorite for me! Great content as always 🔥🔥🔥
Ampharos one of my favourite Pokémon in Gen 2 really looking forward to this playthrough
Great video as always! I love Amphoros. I think that it was the main Pokemon that I used in Soul Silver. Congratulations on getting engaged!
I love the backstory to this challenge. That makes it alot more fun.
Oh my, the farmyard showdown totally takes things to a new level given the already consistently amazing content of this channel!
That’s my favourite spot in this video
100% for a sec was like why is he using a fully evolved pkmn before remembering this is gen 2 and that i am very very drunk, Scott i genuinely love your videos and the amount of effort you put into them!!! AUTOCORRECT IS MY SAVIOR
!!!

XD
Fleecy is a name I don't come across too terribly often, but that may be because I don't read/consume too much media involving sheep. In fact, I first heard the name as a kid watching Laurel and Hardy's version of March of the Wooden Soldiers when Bo Peep was looking for her sheep (Don't cry, No Peep! Don't Cry! We'll find your sheep; we'll try!)
I'm not sure what it is, but the Gen 2 remix of the Gen 1 Gym Leader theme sounds much better to me than the actual Gen 1 Gym Leader theme...and even it's remix in Gen 4.
So if you like the longer video, you’ll be happy :)
I’m excited to do more gen 2 in the near future.
Great video as always Scott! I was surprised to see how easily Fleecy was able to do this challenge!
I was dreaming of electric sheep. Thanks for bringing the play through into my waking life!
Ampharos was on all of my g/s teams back in the day. You are awesome
"It looks like Mareep is hovering." "FLYING SHEEP!" "Those are clouds ...." "Nooooo!!"
Mareep is one of my favorite pokemon! Happy to hear she did so well! :D
Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Thanks King Ryan! Glad you enjoyed the addition!
So happy to see gen 2 returning to the channel Scott!
Me too. Software cursed me so the return was delayed. But now Johto won’t rest ;)
Oh my god! Oh my god! Are you seriously doing a challenge with my favourite Pokémon???? Oh my god I can’t wait to see it, go Ampharos go!
One of my favorite pokemon, looking forward to this one!
I love Mareep! :D I was hyped to see you using it and its line! The original(and best!) Wooloo! I hope this fleecy, wooly buddy does awesome!
You went very, very in-depth with the red fight changes. Very interesting how you went around it
Ampharos is a gen 2 mainstay on my team, looking forward to this👀
Absolutely love mareep always the first pokemon I catch in johto, so happy to see a vid on this beast
Gen 2 is my absolute favorite gen. (Unpopular opinion) Great video, keep up the great work!
Great result for Ampharos! It was always such a charming Pokemon in GSC due to its cuteness and being one of the only available electric types. Weird that it’s not available in Crystal though.
The video is great and all, as always, but immediately upvoted for that adorable story about you and your partner!
Awww thanks :)
Ampharos is one of my favourite Pokemon. I loved the added Dragon Typing with his Mega Evolution
I liked the interaction between the Pidgey's intention to mud-slap and getting one-shot by thundershock.
Pretty nice run, Scotty! All I could think of when I saw the starred Pokémon of the vídeo was: “Amphy”! “Amphy”! “Amphy”!
Good work on the video man. Always appreciate your insight on these games.
Your story of mareep was so cute! It’s so fun to have a history like that with Pokémon!
Before watching, I predict S-tier. Ampharos is just *so* good. Decent bulk, strong special attack, and a diverse move pool with good coverage and access to two of the elemental punches.
Scott, just in case a heatwave hits you soon, heres some tipps on how to keep your recording room from turning into an oven:
Hope you get through summer without a heatstroke. And thanks for this vid and the venoking joke :D
Gen 1 and 2 were literally my childhood man. Got me in my feels here
As my favorite Pokémon i am happy to see you share the same love for this cute electric sheep line.
One of my favorite lines! Mareep is so adorbs, and I used one whenever I played Gold and Silver.
Ampharos was my FAVORITE Gen 2!!! Carried me through elite 4 back in the day. Still one of my favorite Pokémon!
I never knew what STAB meant until this video. I love electric types so this is awesome!
Your flawless run is coming to an end!"
Ampharaos, after getting hit by it: "...Was that suppose to hurt?"
I was a bit worried that Machamp would've ended your run right there with Cross Chop, but you pulled through!
Edit: Oof, Karen's stepped her game up.
I’m in love with the story of the Mareep custody battle, that’s adorable
Great point.
Swinubs dex entry is about them smelling and digging up truffles underground.
Yet it can't learn dig.
Three videos in a week? I'm gonna faint from excitement! Bring me a Max Revive, boys
I swear, snorlax has a higher than average critical hit rate with body slam.
I also love your stories talking about your relationship with Pokémon
Omg my roommates and I used to do something similar! One time we all played FRLG, and then later we did HGSS, you were only allowed the first encounter on each route (similar to a Nuzlocke) and after every gym battle we’d have to face each other, whoever won would be able to take one of the loser’s mons. God those were fun times ☺️
its called a rival locke, invented/popularized by shadypenguin
@@corberus3119 you learn something new every day! I had no idea, this was about 10 years ago and my roommate at the time suggested it so we just jumped right in, I’d love to see more Pokétubers trying those sort of runs out
I almost always had a Ampharos on my team when I used to play Gen 2 as a kid.
I really like it !
Haha I remember running into that little sheep while playing the ROM right after it was released (as in, in japanese because there wasn't an english rom yet). The moment I saw Mareep I instantly knew it would be an amazing evolutionary line. I was not disappointed lol
Edit: _"where's the next challenge gonna be?"_ oh boy, Jasmine should be a fun time 🤣
Flaffy was the first gen two I caught in gold. I remember being very excited but knew nothing about it. Ended up being my ace that run.
I had to go all the way to 100 and add Double Team to stand a chance.
hopefully i'm not the only one that noticed Ampharos smiled after beating red. i was wondering if that was ever gonna happen. good on ya Scott!
When talking about 3 stage electric types, you forgot to mention pichu, pikachu and raichu.
another case of retroactively becoming a three stage electric line like electivire.
Gen 2 content, woo. Lol. I now know that I've been wildly underestimating wee sheep. Great video!
Yes the mareep line is freaking awesome! It's good in fools gold too. Ghost/ground
What an incredible fan made game!
I love how you go into the Venomoth meme.
Tip my hat to you.
I enjoy how you use the more complicated 3rd games from each generation for the playthroughs
Ampharos is a champ! Always use him in my favorite play throughs
It even got Fire Punch access via move tutors in those games (and I always get at least a couple shards through regular gameplay)
That Fleecy story is really cute. Or, well...
Yessss the distribution of mons have improved dramatically over the years. It makes replaying the games without altering the starter much more fun!
So hype for this. One of my favorites from Gen 2
This is about my FAVORITE pokemon line in the whole franchise. Of course, I have extreme nostalgia for this generation and am therefore very biased.
