Brandon is in the middle of nowhere being a 180 miles west of Winnipeg.. Thompson is definitely in the middle of nowhere.. Nothing to do or see unless you are a hunter gatherer.. The most scenic is in the Dauphin to Swan River areas

There is an RM called Springfield with multiple towns in it, that are ok to live in, but the RM itself is not great at all! They have very dumb bylaws and incredibly irritating bylaw officers, particularly when it comes to Land Development and Construction. I live near there and have worked there plenty, also I have several family members living in the RM of Springfield and I’d never move there myself with my family of 6. Plenty of better options in my opinion. But that wasn’t my problem, it was more so that the video was factually incorrect by lying and then it was recommended to me through google ad program, which means someone paid money for a factually incorrect video. That’s the issue I took 😊 Hope that makes sense

Steinbach and Winkler are great if you are Mennonite. Selkirk is a suburb of Winnipeg, with the steel mill being the biggest employer. Thompson is a northern mining town, with the addicted people from the north hanging out in the downtown area and the mall and nearby liquor store. Try walking around those areas with a $20 bill in your front pocket. Safe??? Whoever created this video is a liar.
