I appreciate your channel, I'm tearing through a lot of your videos. It's refreshing to hear actual film criticism from someone unaligned with any identity politics or ivory tower horseshit. Continue to call it how you see it. Usually seeing a youtuber's face is an instant dealbreaker for me but you manage to act like an actual human being (which is very rare these days) and not some cloying cartoon bro so kudos. Also if you have anywhere you post any writing please let me know.
I really appreciate your comment. I'm not big into showing my face but 1) it's faster to edit and 2) copyright claims are so widespread I get scared of showing clips longer than 30 seconds. I've already lost some of my favorite videos to copyright take downs. So I hope people can stomach it. I try to engage art on its own terms, so I'm glad that comes across as a unique perspective. Creation is too complex to neatly fit into a ideological worldview and I find any attempts to do that are often misguided or reductive. If you'd like to check out my writing you can visit my website featherruffler.com, though it's mostly transcripts of these videos. There's some older stuff in there that maybe you'll enjoy. Thank you so much for commenting and hope you'll subscribe for future videos.
I did a short review for my instagram/Tik Tok. Wasn't planning on a longer form review, but I was thinking of seeing it again so maybe! I had to move this past month so I haven't had a stable location to record new videos.

Are you gonna review "everything everywhere all at once"
