I used to bite only my pinkie nails and doing overlay dip system stopped it. Couldn’t get a grip on the edges anymore and stopped - they grew out to be extensions eventually I substituted one bad habit for another however + I didn’t bite the nails anymore but I’m a nail tapper on surfaces now 😅 (it’s so damn satisfying).
I also couldn’t stop biting my nails forever, my nail beds looked like rectangle, started doing my own extensions and the habit left. I think it’s because of differently it feels to chew on hard plastic instead of soft nails
As a nail bitter I use Beatles gel nail glue and soft gel tips , I don’t make them too long but they have to be long enough to cover my free nail , I can only get to the skin around the edges , but with difficulty so it protects my nails underneath and puts me off bitting
I can't talk i still bite my nail extensions off after a while...i know how bad it is to do it too which makes it worse. 😅. I will say they do last longer than just getting a gel overlay done.
What do you recommend for nails that doesn't demand a file to grind it off, but just taken off like normal at home? I should add that i have such thin nails that without polish...they literally bend. And they break off very easily and sometimes painfully.
Can you grow your nail beds longer?? If yes then please give some tips so that I can cure it at home, I over cut my nails due to school and now my nail beds are shorter than before 😢 helppp
Biting is a nervous habit. She needs to learn stress management. I was able to stop doing it with antidepressants yrs ago and that broke my habit after I was no longer on meds. I learned healthy ways to cope during that short time.

Do you mean the dark green color, (as there is no black)? She (nail technichian) is a real expert and advanced educator as well. She knows everything about this. IF it were a fungal infection, once treated and cured, it's OK to cover. Certain conditions can leave a stain. So can improperly applied colors dark as this one. She'd avoid showing in a short form video as there is no time to explain further. Check out her regular videos for the best explanations. BUT this is a long-term client of hers. She's a habitual nail / skin bitter. We've seen plenty of videos about this and her condition/ experiences / lifestyle. Look up any that people mention "Anna" in. Have a great day😊
