You have to have a cold air intake for it to make a difference. A programmer to if you have the money. A 52mm throttle body. The spacer itself will not help no. But if you have all the above. You would be very surprised.
I found the spacer I bought from Transadapt restricted my intake. The holes were smaller than my inlet. I lost power with my combo . Threw 50$ away on it.
Did one for my wife's 94 ram and it had no difference at a shop when tuning it. If I wanted a noticed in performance then a cold air kit would with the spacer. Other than that with a plane spacer no difference
Id assume that the spacer is just supposed to add more air into the engine, i.e. fuel efficiency device. How much air it adds and how much fuel it saves, idk the answer. So its worth the addition, but i wouldnt say its worth the money unless you can find one cheaper than $100.
a new throttlebody would have been a better investment, all that extra material on top of the stock TB creates a turbulent path for air to enter, you can even clean it up a bit a get a few extra hp's, buying one specifically for it would be the smarter way obviously.
you want better economy put A tuner or it. you want more horseys put cam/lifters/rockers on it. you want even more horseys add A turbo and open the exhaust.
Spacer is for more time to allow fuel and air to mix when you have a CARBURETOR........it is completely useless with FI being injected right at the Intake valve nearly a foot after the spacer.
Your truck has injectors that spray into the cylinders. That spacer is for carbureted engines it gives more space for the fuel to aerosolize. Its useless on your truck
Its really nice if you want the stuff raised where its easier to get too
Best video on UA-cam.
Thanks for your honesty 👍

@@SurvivalTacs24 yes it will
I got a 96 Dodge Ram with a cold air intake long tubes and tbs and it works perfect waiting on my tune
Isaac Contreras where did u
Get the long tubes?
Thanks for the info. I won't be throwing $ into that. Having enough problems with my Dodge.

Thank You, I almost lost the money to buy it.
Thanks for that, I've got an 01 Ram with the 5.9L and I was contemplating that spacer.
I was thinking the same, that it may give better mileage or power. Since not, I'll hold off.
Same here put one on my 97 ram 1500 and noticed nothing,on my crown Vic I had my Honda Grom back in day I noticed difference but for the 5.9= nothing

U need a cold air intake to get the full potential of the spacer
I could see how a spacer , would work with a carb, but with the throttle body, it's just air. what is the reason for a longer breathing tube?
What size transmission
What year is your truck mines a 99 I’m surprised you have a nice looking dash board 😂
What size motor you have

I’m gonna do cold air intake and about to Seafome my truck and get new spark plugs
Go with a k&n and the spacer does work better but will not fit with a after market air intake
How much horsepower gain from this
How about putting front Tow hooks on
101Workingman I’ve haven’t needed them yet I’m going to get around to it soon just trying to decide if I want hooks or a different bumper

Will that work on my 5.9 magnum?
Its the same engine, the volume of the cylinders is just .7 liters bigger. So yes, it should work exactly the same, as the tbi is the same size.
how did this workout? more power?
I put a cold air intake and spacer on at same time an it woke my truck up
Thanks for being honest Abraham Lincoln

how about if you put jet engines on it🤑😵🐙😲👀🤔
Snake oil
if the engine is carbureted then the spacer will work questionably, if the engine is fuel injected it is pointless.
i was just about to type the same thing
lol 😂
