    *** I have a helpful tip. **** It might make it esaier to line all your noodles up end to end ahead of time and glue together. After that you can use the clear tape to secure and the use the duct tape to wrap the whole thing so it all lines up and you will have a cleaner finish. Love the decorations! Lots of fun

      I think his way was easier as you don’t have excess pool noodle in the way. Just do a portion at a time for a stronger bond and keep it all even.

    So.......just a tip, I first hot glued all three noodles and then I swirled the tape so it's looks even and it's all 1 piece. Then when I start I do about 2 turns to start the middle and put a piece of clear tape across to hold it. Then I swirl the rest and put a piece of clear tape from top to bottom to hold it all together. It does not unroll at all. While it's taped, I begin to put hot glue. Once it is dry you remove the clear tape and your lollipop is all together, and it takes you about 30 min per lollipop. I love your inspiration and videos!

    Years ago my son signed me up to do the stage decorations for his drama class play: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. I did all my lollipops out of baking clay… it was tedious and some would break or crack and I would have to redo them. I hand painted all of them. I also did giant size candy bars and of course the Willy Wonka chocolate bar with the golden ticket. I didn’t have YT back then and this tutorial would have been helpful. Everything I had to figure out and create on my own but I had fun and my kids absolutely loved it. They always signed me up for things and told me after and they believed I could do anything 😂which inspired me to try and they taught me to use my creativity abilities and expand on those to think outside the box. However it’s channels like yours that make me sleep at night so my brain isn’t racking over how to do certain projects. Thank you!

    SUPER cute! I have never heard of this...I was making pretend graphic decoration ideas and this recommended to me lol. To those saying the glue was showing on the noodle...think about it. A real lollipop looks like that! There's that sticky syrup stuff on the loolipop. This is nicely done and looks so realistic! My entrepreneur mind makes me want to try it out and put them for rent 😂

    I visited McAddenville last Christmas and was totally inspired to do something fabulous for my four grands. I found you on You Tube and I adore everything you’ve done. I have watched your Christmas videos repeatedly. I am getting everything together now and starting to make things. My friend made me the lollipop extra hand device and delivered it last weekend. I can’t wait to make some giant lollipops. I made smaller ones last year and they were a struggle so I know this device will help. Thanks for all the excellent teachings and inspiration!

    Actually, you can do this without ANY glue . Using a heat gun, heat both pieces of pool noodle close together and immediately press together. The hot plastic bonds as it cools ,stinger than hot glue (which usually too hot and melts noodle)

    • @IsaacAlexanderDIY
      @IsaacAlexanderDIY  2 роки тому +5

      This looks like a copy and paste. Unfortunately you are incorrect. This method DOES NOT work for lollipops. We need the pool noodle to retain its shape for the entire “wheel” and using a heat gun instead of hot clue would melt, shrink and deform the pool noodles which would change the shape and smoothness of the lollipops. Not to mention the tape would be melted in the process.
      I would know since I tried this method to find the easiest way to do it. But since you are so convinced it’ll work, make one and post a UA-cam video and let’s see how it turns out 😃

It also solved my huge cupcake using folded thin metal sheets ( fold like paper fan but glue in circle for baking paper. I spray paint then 3 bricks inside spray foam. We let dry . Qdded more foam in icing swirl. Spray paint icing an multi color poker chips ) but now your ping pong idea to my next. I love this simple great handy tool. I made these a few weeks ago. You don't need the glue or contraption. Roll them tight ( I used 2) & have someone else wrap clear packing tape around them. Then wrap in the cellophane. You can't see the tape unless you are right in front of it. They held up through a few extremely windy nights.
