Just got one for my wife, been waiting for a good while and it was absolutely worth it, highly recommend it, gotta say if you like them on video you will love them in person they’re gorgeous and more spacious than sequoias.

Just got a 2024 Limited Hybrid AWD- such a sweet ride! Very spacious, upscale, blacked out trim & 30mpg. Get one- you will be happy!,
do you feel buzzing vibration when you apply the brake at certain speed? (like 20-40mph)

Very thorough and informative review! Just one question that I couldn't seem to grasp is at the 12:37 mark you mentioned "you can turn the start/stop with engine off right here"--does that mean there is an automatic engine shutoff by default in the car, so when you're at a stop or at a red light the engine turns off automatically and then turns back on when you accelerate, and that button you referred to would shut that off completely? I really dislike engines that have that auto on/off at a stop tech. Thanks in advance!
Yes, that is exactly what was meant with that statement. It is a button that would need to be pressed each time you start the vehicle as it defaults that way to claim the EPA fuel economy benefits.

Great review. Just put deposit today for new build GH limited in storm cloud color with fully loaded options. Paid 53k out the door. Perfect for family of 3 plus grandkids when they visit. In Florida, looking forward to many beach trips with all that cargo space. Great video!

@@caseysol941 put a 500 to 1k deposit down, when car is delivered you pay balance or they refund your money if it's not what your expectations are.
None of the family coming to visit from Europe and South America are tall like you, so I think I can fit my aunt, my mom and my cousin in that 3rd row comfortably to drive around town… Plus the fwd facing car seats on the 2nd row, me in between and the men on the front… This will be perfect! 🥰💕💕💕

Finally saw one on the road today. Gotta say, it looked just ok to me. I think its because my wife drives a rav 4, and i feel like ive been seeing that look for years. Other than that, cant wait to test drive. I only wish they didnt make it look so much like a rav 4, and nothing like a highlander. I wonder why it wasnt called grand rav

Just test drove 1 yesterday. Vechicle itself is very nice, but 1 big problem is had 2 riding in the 2nd row. Both people complained that the seatbelt in 2nd road was riding very high in there necks. Have you notices that ?

My 2021 Sienna XSE required a subscription to use remote start. I was told all models going forward will require that.
Not a fan of the subscription model
Got the XLE myself. I cant see spending 5k for a few cosmetic features that add little to the overall experience.

What’s the difference between limited vs platinum?
The leather and microsuede seats are the biggest interior upgrade.

I think the best trim is the standard hybrid limited. Sure you don't get the horsepower but you get great mpg.

My grand highlander hybrid max is almost stalling on some turns, the tranny would shake and it takes a bit for power to kick in. It's hard to replicate. I brought my car in also bc the power would surge on some acceleration. Toyota tried to update the software but it failed up update so they ended up resetting the ECU so the car is working as it should until it relearns my driving habits and will power surge again

The second to the bottom trim is always the best for Toyota. The bottom trim are horrible and just there to meet an entry price. When you get to the higher trims, you can get much better products for the price.

Thought the same when I went to look at a sequoia . Looks nice on their website but in person everything looks like it’s cheap material . I wouldn’t mind it if I was paying 30k for a highlander or 40k for a sequoia. But these prices for the quality don’t convince me one bit . I’ll be better off going with a Ford .
