You do such a good job giving all those details with no uh...or umm. Like stream of consciousness not missing a beat. Great job!
I appreciate that glad you liked it! 👍🏼
Thanks so much for sharing this review of the all-new 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited Gasoline Engine
Great to see you beat those rain clouds! 🔥 review as always Wil
It was close lol but we made it through.. glad you liked it! 👍🏼
Great review. I'm definitely considering trading in for the GH Limited Hybrid trim...would be perfect for my family. Thanks for the great quality of this video!
That’d be an awesome choice! Thanks man glad you liked it 👍🏼
We just picked up our 2024, Grand Highlander XLE yesterday... She's a bute!! The ride is fantastic!! I'm really looking forward to getting to know the vehicle over the few days and weeks...
Sounds awesome man good luck with the car!! 👍🏼
Car looks plain. No flair whatsoever. Looks like rav 4 but bigger and more cheaply made
thank you so much for really good information about grand hilander
Thanks for watching! Hit the subscribe button if you’re new and stay tuned for tomorrow’s review of the 2024 BMW X5 M60i!
I keep my eyes open for that video bro.
Good review, how do you compare this with mazda cx 90, which one you recommend, also if cx 90 phev is a good option re fuel efficiency. Please comment
If I was looking for the sportier and more luxurious option, I’d definitely go for the CX-90 as the closest things I’ve driven are the faaaar more expensive BMW X7 and Acura MDX Type s. That’s comparing gas models of course because I’m yet to try the Hybrid Grand Highlander so it’s not fair yet to say. HOWEVER, if performance is an afterthought and you just need a big, comfortable vehicle with acceptable performance, good features and a base price under $50k, then the grand Highlander is your best bet. The hybrid cx-90 was a really nice car to drive with almost 30 mpg and almost 600 miles of range, but before I make that call I’d like to get my hands on the Grand Highlander hybrid or hybrid max 👍🏼
I got the red grand Highlander xle all the dealers have them so high right now that I paid 50 for the bottom trim level looking back I wish I would have waited and got the limited but I do love my vehicle! The doors are super cheap looking that’s my only complaint! But really practical for me and my family! The backseat is why I traded my regular Highlander in !
Nice review! Can you do one for the docile hybrid model? That one seems to be the neglected middle child. I would much appreciate it.
When you closed, the sunroof it didn't close all the way. When the close button is activated, the glass will start to close, but it stops before the glass comes down. It requires a 2nd close button touch to finish the closing process.
Nice presentation. I have a 2021 Highlander Platinum Hybrid, and I am almost ready to go look at the Grand Highlander. I'll also look at the Lexus TX 500 FSport
Great review
I want to see more test drives of the 2.5l hybrid.
Loved the 2.4 turbo when i test drove one. But want the fuel economy of the 2.5l hybrid.
Do you recommend for an xle gas engine or hybrid one in grand Highlander Limited edition?
W.T.F. CAR REVIEWS so now that you reviewed both, the 2024 Honda Pilot and the Gran Highlander, wich one you would pick and why???
The front seats are nicely shaped but bottom cushion looks short. You are on the taller side, so how did the thigh support feel? Kind of an important thing for us six foot + tall people. Excellent review as always man!
I bought one and the seats are very comfortable for taller people.
Thanks man and yes the seats felt very comfortable! Not very supportive through the turns but I don’t think anyone expects that lol 👍🏼
Can't believe Toyota wouldn't even offer the V6 in this SUV. It's way too big IMO for a 4 banger. They will wear out faster. Look at the Honda Pilot. Standard with their tried and proven V6.
Can't speak for the ICE or Max, but the traditional hybrid uses the A25A-FXS, which is the same engine in the Sierra, while being a few hundred pounds lighter.
this thing (iforcemax) will dust the pilot
@@tinhinnhthat is if you’re willing to have your wallet dusted for an extra $10 grand for your iforce max hybrid.
The pilot is probably going to a 4 cylinder in the next couple years
i just picked up 2024 Grand Highlander limited, the only thing it does have is the 360 and cooled 2nd row seat. I am happy with it.
That sounds awesome man good luck with it!! 👍🏼
I might try to afford one of those SUVs bro.
My favorite Toyota SUV I wanna afford one.
I got my GH limited Vehicle last week, exactly same as this video model. I like the vehicle. Two issues are it doesn’t have Driver easy speak and second while on Bluetooth call the other end caller cannot hear passenger side person voice. This model comes with microphone on driver and passenger side. But not working, anybody has this issue? Dealer saying microphone on driver side only picks sound, what kind of nonsense. Then what is the point of microphone at passenger side. Any input from any GH owners?
Problem with hard dashboard plastic is that with heat and sunlight it will crack. That is definitely a no no for me.
Ok!
Is there a car lighter socket for installing car cam?
Yes, 12 volt outlet is inside the front of the center console large storage unit.
If it had the same engine as the 2024 sequoia, I will buy it
Probably quicker than a Sequoia
I’m not sure I understand the Hybrid Max trim level. Why go hybrid only to compromise fuel economy by boosting HP and torque? For a family SUV, I’m going with this one. Hybrid Limited.
Because it's not always about fuel economy. The Max is just adding power for acceleration and towing capacity. IMO, the engines are already a little on the small side for the weight of this vehicle.
@@TheUMIA fair enough.
We put a deposit on the hybrid limited because it’s just my wife and I and we don’t tow so don’t need the extra power and prefer the fuel economy. We test drove the max and it’s quite amazing. I just hope the limited hybrid isn’t noticeably sluggish in comparison
My XLE is $58,000 with the extended warranty
How tall are you
About 6’ maybe a half inch more lol
No towing???
I’ve been wanting to see that myself. Even mpg, nvh with these turbo 4’s or hybrids loaded with 6-8 adults or towing even half of their rating.
Place spacer slow
You sound a lot like Raiti. Is he your father? 😅
He really do now that you said that 😂
Telluride still is a better car if you factor the pricing.
But it’s a Kia
its still midsize, not full size, thats the sequoia
Sequoia is definitely full size, I was going off wiki tho which may have been a mistake lol 👍🏼
Everything but the engine is good, not a fan of screaming 4 cylinders
So glad that isn’t my car. Not the greatest thing for a brand new engine to be revved like that.
Love yota. Wish they’d make an attractive interior for once. So bland.
Levels of luxury?!? 🤨
It’s a damn rip off! Don’t buy!
Make them drop those ridiculous prices!
Lookscheap as hell
Its not under $50,000!!! It's $61,000!!!!¡
Nothing inspiring about this design it looks like any Highlander from the past 10 years
Looks better than the regular Highlander, which looks more like a minivan. It still looks kinda boring, but it is better.
Sounds like a guy that drives a Ford or a Chevy or maybe even a Kia and he’s all butt hurt about it. I don’t blame you dude I feel bad if I own that crap as well.
Not even deserved 40,000 $ with taxes
First off it is not available in 4 trim levels. It is 3. XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Please don't discuss how comfortable seats are until you have driven a vehicle hundreds of miles nonstop. I had a GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 crew cab SLT V8 and I drove to Tennessee and back several times with nothing but back pains. Now own a Ram 1500 and have made the same trip with zero issues. Cant judge comfort because you sat in the seat for 2 minutes. You have no clue about the cubic feet behind the 3rd row and just guess what size tv someone can fit with a seat down. I believe its around 21 cubic ft bud. Comparable to a Kia Telluride. Then again not really. Depends on the height of the deck. Please do not listen to these people when purchasing a vehicle. Go look for yourself. I have twins and have to have room for a twin stroller or wagon behind row 3. We have a Chevy traverse and it barely fits. Chevy claims the traverse has less cargo room behind row 3 than a Tahoe yet our strollers and wagons fit in the traverse and not the Tahoe which costs $20k more. Just go look and pay zero attention to these turds who have no job and pray on you for money and likes. Get a real job like we have so we can buy vehicles for our families.
I feel sad for you, and your poor comment. I thought this review was spot-on, especially since having recently sat in one of these vehicles. Everything in this review was covered nicely. Remember, it's personal preference regarding comfort...and I HIGHLY doubt Toyota would mass-produce a vehicle of this nature (for large families) with uncomfortable front seats.
A turd calling other people turds...😂
Why so bitter, Jason? Who hurt you?
How long has it been since you were able to look straight down and see your penis?
