Our Shadow Systems DR920 Elite is representative of a Custom Glock build which can't be complete without a proper optic. Yes we like the 507 Comp for full sized guns like the Glock 17 and larger models. Glock 19 sized compact pistols are certainly right sized to fit a Holosun 507c X2 with little issue. That leaves the awesome edc carry guns like the Glock 43x for the smaller footprint Holosun 507k and Holosun 407k models.
This red dot comparison video allows you to see the POV angle of the viewing size each optic provides. We had to throw in the 407k as we enjoy the 6 moa dot at ranges up to 25 yards. But let's to some particulars about the bigger Holosun optics.
Details:
The Holosun 507 Comp is and excellent competiton optic that can also pull double duty as a home defense red dot. The 507c sits right in the middle for your full sized and compact pistols like the Glock 17 and Glock 19 . That leaves the Holosun 507k and 407k as excellent options for your subcompacts like the Glock 43x mos.
The 507 Comp has a unique feature called the Competition Reticle System (CRS), which allows the user to choose from four different reticle options1. The CRS consists of a 2 MOA dot, an 8 MOA circle, a 20 MOA circle, and a 32 MOA circle1. It's great to have options.
The Holosun 507C X2, on the other hand, does not have the CRS feature. It only has three reticle options: a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a circle-dot combination2. The 507C X2 also has a special version called the 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan, which has a unique reticle called the ACSS Vulcan2. Looks cool, but it does drain the battery at a much higher rate than all of the Holosun optics.
To summarize, the Holosun 507 Comp has additional reticles that the 507C X2 doesn’t have and the biggest viewing window of all optics. Yet, many will find that each one is optimized to fulfill a particular need at a high level of performance.
Pick one, and it's will certainly handle any shooting task you can throw at it.

Use Birchwood Casey aluminum black to paint your Holosun logo black. It’s really easy to do and the logo comes out a smoked out black color.

I have a question i bought the comp for a canik rival S but the plate it comes with makes the optic sit very high therefore when sighting the red dot i cant lower it anymore so when i shoot i need to aim about 2 inches lower to bullseye any advice or did you have this issue with your rival s?

Green certainly appears brighter outdoors on sunny days than red. Yet, they are similar in most other situations in my experience.
