After watching Awakenings, I had to re- think my opinion of Penny Marshall completely. This is a great film with some of the finest actors of our time. I loved that movie it was so well done. It was in the theater when the world needed to see it. The optimistic caring approach to those less fortunate. I was working with brain injury survivors at the time, trying to prove as well with others that brain trauma did not have to be immediate institutionalized. There was hope with perseverance determination and care semi independant living even independent living is possible. This movie was a great inspiration. Two terrific actors as well. Love this one❤🙏
I lose it everytime at 0:31 // 0:32 when Robin exclaims while giggling uncontrollably, "Expensive...schmensive." 😂😂 I still miss Robin Williams so much though. 🥺 He gave the world so much laughter we can never thank him enough. 😢

i watched robert williams since childhood. i was very sad when i heard of his dead. i never thought he would take his own life. i was disappointed in him for doing that. i know he was sick. but that is part of getting old. we all go through that, that is just part of life. i will always watch his shows. my favorite was mork and mindy growing up. and still like it. that was the good days. he will always be missed in my books. and i will mess his jokes. to me he was idol. he broke my heart.
When I saw this movie,I starting to Laugh and I creid at the End of the Movie,cause it is so sad to see the patient went back,where they atrted from,Robin is sleeping now and he has wings of a angel and flying around Gods home and he will be missed,what a great man,that we lost.May the lord Jesus hold you in his Arms.Amen
