We should all feel lucky that we got to experience him, and live in the same time, witness an absolute ultra genius. I believe Robin was able to access way, WAY more of his brain than the average human.

I remember riding Its A Small World ride at Disneyland in my childhood & Robin Williams was on the boat behind us with his family. He looked so happy to be there with them. We didn't bug him after the ride was over. For a moment he was unnoticed and allowed to be a father with his children. His energy was and is amazing.
I'm glad Johnny brought up what a great actor Robin was as well. Awakenings was an excellent film and Williams was also great in Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting.

2 of the BEST personalities on Television and in Entertainment ever!!! Watching these with Johnny and Robin STILL brings laughing tears to my eyes! So missed!!
Someone like Robin Williams doesn't die. He's simply sleeping and letting us miss his presence on screen and on stage. Don't know about the world but I miss his unique performance. No-one could take his place. He made us laugh our hearts out throughout his whole career. He was not happy in his personal life but never let his fans know that. He was bleeding inside but never let us see the blood stain. That's not an easy thing to do.
This man is pure genius. The world has truly lost a one in a million actor and human being. I never knew him but cried when I found out he passed, I grew up with this man. Most of my favourite movies have Robin Williams in them and I am so sad to know that the world will never see a man like this ever again. Rest in Peace.
Just to see Johnny’s face now, makes me feel sooo good. He was the most polite and respectful late night host in history, no one can fill his shoes! He never ever put his guests down or made them feel disrespected. ❤️johnny…and Robin! We are so lucky to have had the chance to know these men.
First things first. Johhny Carson will never be duplicated. What a class act. Robin Williams is brilliant. He is definately a hyper person, but his mind is brilliant. There are only a few people that come to mind that I would like to meet.He is at the top of my list. Part of his hyper act is him. Plain and simple. He made a career out of this. But he has a brilliant mind. 100x smarter that your average person. I would love to meet the guy just to talk to him.
He's soooo funny and entertaining. It's hard taking my eyes off the screen as soon as he comes on. It's heartbreaking we'll never get to see this comedic genious live again. He'll be missed very much.
He was amazing. It's a wonder anyone could keep pace with him... you'd barely get chance to draw breath from laughing at a joke, and he'd be another three - or six - ahead of you. Such a wonderful, funny man.
Absolutely. I come from Glasgow, the hometown of Billy Connolly, who stated that Williams was his hero. Connolly doesn't hand out compliments that often, when he does, you can be damn sure they're true. I'm still missing the wee man. Genius is not a word to be bandied about. But when you listen to RW in his stand up routines, a mind that works that quick has to be considered for that category,
I was lucky enough to meet Robin Williams in Los Angeles when he was in the middle of filming his movie “Moscow On The Hudson” and was able to get an autograph, which was a thrill !! He is just as funny off camera as on and a very gifted individual indeed !! Rip dear sir, our sweet Robin Williams. 🙏🏻🌹💋✝️💜
You can tell from just listening to him that he was a very intelligent man. His thoughts were like a whirlwind in his head and when they were spoken, they flowed without a flaw. Granted he jumped from one joke to another at a high rate of speed, but that's what made him so unique. No matter what the subject, he could pull a joke off the top of his head. And he and Jonathan Winters were hysterical when they played off each other. It was priceless. What I find so tragic is that this man stood before thousands of people, with the sole intent on making us laugh, all the while he was so severely depressed but he didn't show the slightest sign of it while he performed. That must have been so incredibly difficult for him. For those who didn't care for his humor, than so be it. But you cannot deny this man the respect and admiration he deserved. With the loss of Robin Williams, comedy will now feel the huge void he left. I hope he has found the peace he so desperately needed.
@@paulkazanjian9555 ...i don't even believe he Killed Himself! Several others suspect the same but I guess it's neither here nor there now so just GOD BLESS HIM. He was the funniest man ever.
that speed joking is manic. Manic depressives are usually over the top intelligent ( my mother had it) but when they were down there was a side to them that was intolerable...dark....if they turned on you then it was hell on earth. I hope he wasn't that way with his wives but usually it's a 2 prong personality going on there and you had to have your own designated space to recoup from their manic episodes. Might've been what was going on there. I know my mom would apologize after going into an episode and demoralizing you but I just chose not to live with her and caregive from afar. Might've been what happened here as to why they slept in different rooms. God bless him.
...actually...someone made a comnent that he was suicided...and that does fall in line with alot of the famous who spoke out about the wrong people. Mr. Williams used to make hilarious jokes about some very dangerous political people and I hopeand pray it wasnt what happened to him. God BLESS his soul.
I have always felt there was something tragic underlying the character of Robin Williams, whether in comic or dramatic parts he played. There seemed to be a desperation that has at times made me focus more on the actor than on the part he was playing. I have also always felt that he was basically a good man, a deeply thoughtful man who understood the human condition in all its pain and all its glory. And though I may not have sought Williams out as an actor to follow, I think I have felt some kind of affinity with him. Perhaps there was something in him that I found too close for comfort. In any case, I am sorry to see that he has reached the end of feeling any kind of joy in his world. He is not far from any of us in this sense. We all struggle; Robin simply went further and made the decision to end the battle, and one must respect him for this. At the same time his decision makes us reflect on our own existence, and this is what makes us human. Good night to a great man.
Robin Williams is a genius talent. I have always known and felt that he was not accidentally sent to us, on this earth. So keep loving him and never forget what a tremendous talent and value he was to us.
I love how much Carson enjoys this interview. Robin sure did bring a lot of funny and warmth wherever he went. You can tell how amazing he was by how many people felt a connection with him. RIP.
You can see the kindness and generosity Billy Crystal spoke about., among others, when he starts speaking about mental illness in the film. He is respectful and knows when to be serious when needed just as he knows when to entertain and let his electricity shine when the moment allows. Love him.
It's scary how some people have the brilliance to bring joy and happiness upon billions of people's lives and yet, in themselves, they see nothing but a worthless human being taking up space. Robin was so brilliant and gentle but also SO modest in a way that made people want to scream, "Why can't you see how amazing you are?!" Such a cool and inspirational dude.
I bet Robin had a IQ rate from 180 to 210 , period , He wanted to be there in that energy , and once in a while share HIS , with us... bless his soul and good warming heart forever . Thank You for all you choose to share...
Agreed. He could have been a nuclear physicist if he want to. There was a skit (forgot the URL) where his jokes were very technical (maths, physics, etc.). Like those mobius jokes. You have to have high IQ to understand those jokes. #respect
I really miss him. What is so sad for me is he had an illness that robbed him of his sanity and dignity at the end. A bad ending for a brilliant mind. I’m grateful for clips like this.
To all of Robins children, your dad is a joy to the world not because of his talent but because his a great human being who not think about himself but the people in his country. Very kind person.
I remember as a kid going to see Mrs. Doubtfire with my whole family. It wasn't one of his best but it was still a solid movie that brought companion memories that will last a lifetime. He entertained the whole world, made us smile, made us love him and then made us weep. It really is tragic because the world that he saw was colorful and bright and loaded with potential. The one that we live it is not the world that he saw. That's called illness. Wish people would show a little respect.
The brain is a marvelous and strange destination ! I'm 52 and Robin came on my radar w the inimitable Mork & Mindy... One thought he was destined for great comedic/dramatic achievement.
My doctor just told me I have cancer. I've been 'loading' again on Robin Williams these days. I'll surely look for him - of course, after I find my dad and my grandparents! - when the time comes for me to go. It could be sooner than I might expect... But, I know I'm going to look for a lot of people when my time comes. He's probably still cracking jokes somewhere 'out there'. I'll thank him for making it a bit less 'heavy' (emotionally) as I knowingly walk through the path of inevitability. It's been fun watching him... :)
+Jiyū ...not really brave. just trying to be honest about the fact that 'i didn't even decide to be born'. so, i don't really get to decide much about some of life's 'inevitable realities'. btw, i 'lived' after the surgery. doc said, surprisingly, i still got some time. treatments lined up, of course... Now, i treat time like drinking water that can't be wasted. can't spill the minutes on 'unhappy moments'.
I have watched this many times over the years a still laug my ass off Robin ; such a gifted and funny and loving man; miss him madly; hope he is making Jesus laugh now!
This morning I’ve been watching all the Johnny clips with brilliant Robin. Well, almost constantly Johnny and Ed are LAUGHING and I grew up in the 1960’s. Of all these shows, Johnny laughs more with Robin Williams than with any other comedians. Ef you Lewy Body Dementia. I mourn the loss of our Robin as much as my deceased Family and Friends. 💕
Two people who will be missed forever. Thankyou Robin & Johnny!

he was one of the best comics ever; hands down.
He was one of a kind. I heard near the end he knew he had a form of dementia and decided he would go on his terms........
You need to edit this comment. He didn't kill himself because he was depressed.
Wow--- don't we miss these guys!!! Two of the funniest for sure.
A comedy genius that will never be repeated
Robin takes over the room, any room he's in.
+Osama Bin Muslim
A fart can take over a room too. Doesn't make it a good thing.
+George Penwell
In Robin's case, it's a good thing.
Whatever your little heart wants to believe June.

Is something the matter?
+Agnostic Iguess
Or is it that your lack of IQ just makes you that much easier to be entertained?

Thank you Sean.
Thankyou Albert.
lovely comment that reflects my thoughts also. he had an air of silent desperation with a good and searching heart. sweet dreams robyn
Thank you Mr. Tony. I find myself thinking about this great man often now.

RIP.
He can't "rest" because he's dead.
You can see the kindness and generosity Billy Crystal spoke about., among others, when he starts speaking about mental illness in the film. He is respectful and knows when to be serious when needed just as he knows when to entertain and let his electricity shine when the moment allows. Love him.
Robin looks about his best ever here.
....agreed. Altho he seemed upset about an Awards loss but his work is SO good.
Cocaine is dangerous with a mind that sharp. We cloud OD easily when he opens his mouth and his mind falls out.
I thought same .
Cochise. I can tell
The world is a different place without this man...such a loss. One of the funniest people that ever walked ❤
Amazing!! A once in a lifetime talent! I miss Robin Williams!
Nice insight. Depressives should learn from this. And for some reason YT won't allow us to "like" your comment. ??????
Teetsfortotsxoxo I'm like that too. People that know me say the same thing about me. Robin was a great man.
The studio segment was the most informative
John231984 Mhm that's exactly right. And oddly enough, the majority of comedians are in fact depressed o.O
+Momochki He also had heart surgery which probably led to all of his physical problems...like Parkinson and psychosis.
I bet Robin had a IQ rate from 180 to 210 , period , He wanted to be there in that energy , and once in a while share HIS , with us... bless his soul and good warming heart forever . Thank You for all you choose to share...
It was quite a bit lower but his 'raw witt' was beyond measure. :--))
He seems to be coked up half the time
He shifted moods very quickly. The contrast between serious and joking seemingly without any effort.
Agreed. He could have been a nuclear physicist if he want to. There was a skit (forgot the URL) where his jokes were very technical (maths, physics, etc.). Like those mobius jokes. You have to have high IQ to understand those jokes. #respect
Josefine Coked will speed you up obviously but he was more than that by far. If it was the coke why haven’t we had any others like him????
There will never again be a talent like Robin. He left us too soon as well.
I really miss him. What is so sad for me is he had an illness that robbed him of his sanity and dignity at the end. A bad ending for a brilliant mind. I’m grateful for clips like this.
❤❤❤
To all of Robins children, your dad is a joy to the world not because of his talent but because his a great human being who not think about himself but the people in his country. Very kind person.
I remember as a kid going to see Mrs. Doubtfire with my whole family. It wasn't one of his best but it was still a solid movie that brought companion memories that will last a lifetime. He entertained the whole world, made us smile, made us love him and then made us weep. It really is tragic because the world that he saw was colorful and bright and loaded with potential. The one that we live it is not the world that he saw. That's called illness. Wish people would show a little respect.
One of my favourite of his movies!
what got me was:...WHAT DREAMS MAY COME
That’s his best movie by far
what got ME was: WHAT DREAMS MAY COME
The brain is a marvelous and strange destination !
:)
God bless you, I haven't even met you but I'm wishing you the most peaceful days ever
You are so fucking brave Oh my god!
+daRkmaTT3rSubSpac3 ...yup...after surgery, doc said, there's some time for life on earth (for me!) :)
+praise with many trumpets thanks!
Rest in peace Robin. Words can't describe how much I miss you!
thats what emojid are for😭
I have watched this many times over the years a still laug my ass off Robin ; such a gifted and funny and loving man; miss him madly; hope he is making Jesus laugh now!
RIP Robin Williams, Thank you for being an extraordinary compassionate person! Amitahbba!
God I loved that man, he was the greatest. He always has me struggling to breathe in between laughs.
Just sheer magic he really was. His was such a fantastic actor wheather comedy or drama he could do both. No one can touch him.
Robin, you were far too great for this world... RIP
RIP Robin Williams we all love you.
I really miss these two. Awesome entertainers.
He's simply larger than life.
that's one way to become immortal
Your Lord and Savior Not anymore Jeebus. You gonna ask your dad to resurrect him or nah?
Bigger than Jesus?
He was but I think he was on coke around this time. Amazing what with was able to do with or with out.
Not quite.
