Robin was probably the only person on the planet that could call out Jack Nicholson for wearing sunglasses and get away with it.

I'm now realizing that one of the biggest missed opportunities in Hollywood history was not putting Jack Nicholson and Robin Williams in a movie together. Can you even imagine?

This was a real kind gesture on Jack's part. Robin never had a big ego, but he was a sensitive soul and being singled out in the wrong way was probably a pretty hurtful snub. The one thing that's always made Robin happy was making other people laugh, and Jack must've known that being on that stage for a few minutes slaying a crowd of people he admired was probably a better prize for him than another paperweight award anyway.

I love how Daniel Day Lewis had a full beautiful speech and Jack comes up and is like “hey I’m really stoned so Robin is gonna make up a speech for me”

I love humility of Daniel Day Lewis... He knows he will not be able to be part of that insanity show Jack and Robin are putting on, so he watches and enjoys. It's a mark of an great actor to know when to perform and when not. Respect.

"Coming here with no expectations, leaving here with no expectations. Pretty much a Buddhist evening for me." Only a true comedic genius can come up with something that spontaneous.

If you can improv a joke like "a buddhist evening" in a situation like that, you're a certified genius.

3 legends: Robin Williams, legend of comedy; Daniel Day Lewis, legend of acting; and Jack Nicholson, legend of life!

He brought Robbin on stage and that entire room went home laughing hysterically and smiling ear to ear forgetting there was even awards being given. What a man.

I love that it took Jack a second to get that 'Buddhist evening' joke.

Robin is class act. He needed none of the awards to prove he’s the best. I miss him so much! RIP
