I bought a 1994 pickup brand new and she is my baby. I am in the process of chroming out the stock headlights, bumber and other parts. I Love my Little truck. I paid 9200$ brand new , 30 years ago. thanks for the vids.
That’s awesome man You can’t beat an old school Toyota pickup. My dad did the same thing in 1994 and it’s never been a daily driver it has a little over 70K miles on it the thing is still in excellent condition 30 years later. I have an 87 that I daily drive since 2011. 22R’s are just built different
Thanks for the video. I know that these amazon headlights have a lot of positive reviews and their cheap but they actually don't produce a high performing beam. The one characteristic that stands out most is the obvious wider beam. While having a lot more illumination to the sides is great, having even more downroad illumination is better because that's where our eyes are pointed. Take a look at the Headlight Revolution video they posted 2/4/21 titled "5X7 Sealed Beam LED Headlight Shootout" and skip to the 18:57 mark. The peak intensity measurement for the AFEAX was a mere 9% greater over the stock crap 5x7 halogen. That isn't really an improvement. The other huge problem with the AFEAX beam is the largely noticeable void of light (shading) in the foreground. I don't know about you but that is extremely distracting even for short trips. That region of the beam could benefit from a little more light OR a smoother transition from bright to dark. It would just make for a more pleasant and less disturbing night time driving experience. If in the near future you realize that these LED headlights actually don't perform as well as you had hoped (once your eyes get used to them) then I would recommend checking out the JW Speaker, Philips or even the new Holley Retrobright. Their much more expensive but that's because they are real engineered headlamps made to produce compliant suitable driving beams.
I have the exact same light. Bright an cut off is great... but you did receive the better correct one.. there's another variation of the same one.. where the rear housing is shape a bit larger.. where it don't clear the oem metal housing... I received one .. amd had to cut trim the metal housing... Minda sucks lol. But i got it in amd its steady
They didn’t fit perfectly in the metal housing, I had to kind of sandwich them in, but the threads caught well. I definitely didn’t have to cut or trim anything.

Toyota still sells those clips to hold that grill on.
Someone else told me that too, thanks! I'll have to pick some up. And thanks for watching.
My lights are just dim I bought new headlights for it, any ideas on what it could be? I was thinking the headlight relay may need to be replaced
Can we do my RAV4 headlights next? 🤓
Where did you get the wire harness from. Thanks
