This truck came in and had an extremely slow crank. I put the ground on to eliminate a bad ground but mostly because I didn't want to roll around in the snow to look into the factory grounds. I left it because it fixed the slow cranking issue
When your trying to take it off or putting it back on? I had that happen the first time going back in and I had to take it out and thread it back in again till it sat at a different position
if your batteries are good then throw in a new starter if your starters good ( inputs the starter and touch it to the positive on the battery it should crank) then replace the batteries should fire up
Yup I forget what mm but you can take any deep socket and cut a piece out for the connector. Or for the 7.3 iprs where you can separate the electrical you can use a deep socket then out the wires on after
What does the ground strap help with? Is it permanent, or just to get the truck started?

The connector on my IPR hits the back of the intake manifold. Any suggestions?

I have a 03 ford 250 with a 6.0 and I turn the key no crank
Sounds like a bad wire connection of some sort. See if anything is loose at the battery or the solenoid

I was driving and lost power and it shut off now it cranks but won’t start. Also had a loose oil cap
Check out what % the ipr is at and what pressure the icp sensor is reading. Does it make base oil pressure
What socket is it?
An ipr socket. I forget where from
It must be a 35mm socket. But need to have a cut on the side for the connector.

Did you have to take the ficm out
I did just to gain more room but you may be able to get away with leaving it
Thanks
