Great overnighter Scotty. I've never seen the Crysallis Bivy before, that looks real nice. That's weird it looked like your M71 stove was empty, guess the fuel is clear. I wouldn't like that Canadian sleeping bag without a hood. I was interested in the British army arctic sleeping bag, but couldn't find a clear answer on what temperature it was rated for (or how low the temp). That's cool that Pookie joined you in the show. Bummer, we couldn't see the new surplus package. 👍😺
The Bivy is awesome. The fuel is pretty clear. Hard to see for sure. I remember refilling this one with a different gel then the original. I've read mixed reviews on the British bag also. I heard they are not that warm. Yep pookie had to get some camera time. I will still do a unboxing of the mil-surp package. Thanks for watching and commenting Jeff💯
@@scottysurvival I have never heard of those flakes. It might be something the army uses now. Maybe the Rangers or Infantry supply rooms might have it in the supply room.
That's a good cat.
He is a great cat. Thank you for watching 🤗
Good video Scotty, thanks for sharing, God bless brother !
Thanks Michael and God bless you too😎👍💯
Thanks Scotty enjoyed the vid and info.
No problem I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 🤗
Always fun to get out and try your gear.
I agree. You start to find out what you actually like vs what you think you like
Love the packing of that duffle 😂
😫😫😂😂😂

@@scottysurvival Look forward to seeing the new surplus goodies 😀
Nice Video! The original duffle or at least the one issued to me in 1990 opens at the top.
Thank you. It's a pretty awesome bag. Not to bad. It's more comfortable with a coat on or something if you're wearing it as a backpack
I like my US mss . Works great for me.
O yes It's a versatile system
Any dirt time is good time! The actual dimensions of the inner and outer bags in the CF sleep system are actually the same.
Thumbs up for Tacti Cat!
Yes sir. I wasn't totally sure on the outer bag being bigger. Just guessing. O yes pookie the tact cat I like it🦁🦁🦁🦁
My swiss volcano stove is one of prized possesions. It even works with trioxane fuel.
Nice..nice .they are getting pretty expensive these days now. Thanks for watching
A Bivy bag where I live in Florida would be a bear burrito bag. Lol
I wouldn't last camping in the back county of Florida. That's a real survival situation.🐊🐊🐊
Hi Scott, this is an excellent video! When you started the fire in the morning. It appears that you lit some blue colored flakes. What were those?
Thank you Lonnie. Ahh yes the blue flakes were from a us military trioxine fuel bar. Are you familiar with them?
@@scottysurvival I have never heard of those flakes. It might be something the army uses now. Maybe the Rangers or Infantry supply rooms might have it in the supply room.
Sir Scotty where can I buy surplus alice pack in bulk? thank you
Colemans or sportsman guide mabye
