    We used to have a restaurant in Orange Park Florida called sho gun that did this right at the table it was awesome to watch and the food was out of this world unfortunately that restaurant is gone dude I miss that place it was so awesome hopefully I find another place like it again hopefully not too far away

      I understand you man, i had in my city a similar restaurant that had the most delicious food, but suddenly by financial problems they closed it and now that place is a low quality chothes shop.

    teppanyaki videos are always satisfying to watch...but personally, i feel these guys waste too much food just for that 'show' factor....like the ends of the fried egg, excess oil (why do u take so much then?!), garlic, etc....all straight into garbage!!

    Full Recipe as filmed. Adjust to suit your needs:
    1 Shitload day old rice
    Oil (olive; not motor)
    2 eggs smeared (not scrambled) but scrambled; put on top of rice
    Oil (still suggest olive but it's your thang)
    Chopped white vegetables
    Some different white vegetables (half as much as before)
    Even more white vegetables (half again)
    Sweat them in the oil until lightly caramelized
    Wring oil out (but not all) and incorporate veggies with rice
    Mix the rice like crazy over medium-high heat
    Add as much butter as you like (2 tablespoons pictured but add according to your desired level of risk)
    Continue to mix and incorporate; show some freakin' style and flare here. It improves the taste!
    When properly flicked and mixed, add brown liquid of choice (recommend not from toilet)
    Flick and incorporate more. More flare!
    More brown liquid. Trust me, don't skimp.
    Keep flickety-flickin'
    Now add your green vegetables. And then add some other lighter-green vegetables.
    You lika da black peppa? Adda dat shit!
    Keep on flicking on! This ain't your momma's half-assed fried rice.
    If your blood pressure be rockin', grind some salt on there. It's tasty!

      Most fried rice use sesame or peanut oil actually, but you can use any oil really. It doesn't change the flavor that much.

    People in the comments complaining about the non existent food waste sound stupid af... like really you think the small ends of egg are a waste and the oil was used in that amount because he is frying the veggies and he need that amount of oil lol it all goes to use its not a waste.

    very good for sure, the only problem here is the extreme amount of oil use for do just a fried rice, really a lot , gonna be very high on calories and fat , turn out kind of junk food for the nutrition value

      You can't tell by looking? Sesame oil most likey, then egg, more oil, then two pounds of garlic (lol) mix together, add soy sauce, salt, a little butter and pepper and green onions last. This is the fried rice basic recipe really, though quantities may vary considerably.

    I’m not afraid of fat. BUT - That was nearly 200 grams of oil (1800 calories) for 2 scant servings of rice. That’s insanity… the same thing could have been accomplished with 50 grams of oil and probably achieved the same result.

    This looks like such an inefficient setup to make fried rice. He can't even stir all of the rice at the same time. Just making unnecessary spatula noises.
    Still love teppenyaki style for other dishes, but not for fried rice.

    すっごい気分が悪くなります。ちなみに同業者ではないです。以前は料理関係の仕事してましたが。
    味は不味いわけないですよね、ただ美味しくもなさそうですけど。
    食品の事をなんも思ってないんだなーて感じがすごいしました。格好だけの料理ですね。
    とにかく食品ロスが腹立ちました。
