Very informative video. Am I understanding correctly that the little red pump will turn on when you open like a faucet in the house or a hose in the garden? It's not attached to like a pressure switch or sensor or anything?
The shut off sensors in the tank handle that issue. When the tank is full the well pump shuts off, when it reaches the lower sensor the pump kicks back on. This allows for less strain on the pump preventing it from having to run continously.
How do you prevent your well from running dry if water usage is more than your well can replenish your storage tank? I need to add a storage tank but concerned with running my well dry prior to making pump shut off float switch in storage tank
Add a pump saver to the wiring circuit. It will kill the pump when water level is low because it will draw more current if water is empty. Once tripped you can program the pump saver to kick on again In a hour or two…. And start pumping into holding tank again
Unfortunately, the tank still had a bunch of water inside which made that impossible(trust me Jered tried to think of everything before he dove in😂). They used the tractor to lift it onto the trailer. We appreciate you watching! Hopefully you got a laugh at Jered's expense!! 😂😂
Very informative video. am I understanding you correctly that the little red pump will turn on only when you say open a faucet inside the house or a hose outside?
What about freezing of the exposed piping and storage tank? thanks

That is correct! Thanks for watching!
I think your check valve should go after the pump. I think before the pump can damage the pump. Just what i've read.
So mine would be inside so no freezing issues but my concern is the well pump running constantly to fill up the big tank how would I go about that?

What about when wellnruns dry and the tanks not full?
The guy in the tank was just amazing hahahhah and sound hahhah
The cartridge filter should not be before the pressure switch. When that filter gets restricted flow it will blow out your line.
How far is your home from the pump system
Thanks for watching, it is about 200 ft.

OSHA entered chat…
Why not roll the tank where he could crawl in…
