I realise that I smoke to
    a) hide insecurity/smoking provided a kind of "support" that I can cling to, it detracts me from feeling insecure
    b) repress my anger, hurt, pain, fear, to prevent me from expressing myself with authenticity, to avoid being vulnerable
    c) to channel nervousness, stress, impatience
    d) to overcome feelings of boredom, indecisiveness
and some are linked to habits and nicotine craving
What motivates me is to be free, smell nicely, breath healthily, to find and live my inner safety and strength and alignment anytime under stress or triggered so as to not need the cigarettes anymore.

Cold Turkey since feb 2, 2021. Smoking for 40 years plus. On an uncertain journey. In the past, tried 4-5 times but relapsed.
Wish me good luck. Today is exactly one week

It really helps to be aware that there are ups and downs in the motivation level. Most often people decide to quit in a fit of high and soon relapse when the low touches them. If you are expecting that a low is around the corner you prepare yourself and strengthen your decision in advance. Your video has been really helpful in keeping me away from nicotine gum to which I got addicted for last six months after quitting smoking for seven years. Thanks and regards.

Not really sure if I'm motivated to quit smoking yet. I guess a small part of me is because I watched this video. I got some bad news from my doctor and have no choice but to quit smoking. I've tried quitting smoking in the past and haven't been able to. I'm going to stick with this program though maybe it will help me out. thanks for making these videos. I also joined one of your webinars on Tuesday. Can't wait to check it out.

So at the moment i cant work. I feel very lonly because i didnt have locations where i can meet new people. I cauth so much and will make an asthma test. I think its not a good time to stop. What do you think? Cigaretts disctrackt me to not think about how painfull my life is at the moment. Thanks a lot if you read this.

Hi Tanja, from what you're telling me, there's definitely a desire in you to stop smoking. Do the exercise I suggested in the video + Smoking can distract you for 2 minutes tops and adds more problems and worry in your life. From now on, try to notice your thoughts and feelings when you smoke. Does smoking change or solve any of the problems you're struggling with?

Haven't smoked in a week, I get a craving now and again but, I'm a non smoker now and a craving can't make me do anything I don't wanna do :D Thanks so much for your guidence Nasia! When my motivation is down, I come back and watch your videos again ^_^ your videos helped me realize that when I tried to quit in the past, I used crutches as a reason to go back to smoking. If I ran out of gum, or vape, or patches, I would go buy a pack then it was downhill from there. I decided now was the time to quit and I did it cold turkey :D the first couple days were hard now its just when I'm driving that it's a Lil tough

About 3 months now. Thank you Nasia. For years I have made new years resolutions and such to not smoke. I know that the motivation to smoke is still there, but this is going to be my time. Your channel always gives me confidence that I can overcome the cravings and this is going to be the year when I go cigarettes free.

Hi Joshua, thank you for your comment. What usually prevents us from quitting smoking is not preparing before the quit date and not overcoming the mental addiction. Once you overcome your mental addiction and prepare before your quit date, you will succeed in quitting permanently! You've got this 💪 This video will show you why your past quit attempts didn't last and what to do differently this time so you can succeed. ua-cam.com/video/z65h-yFQ-HA/v-deo.html

Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. I got fat. I gained 140 pounds. I went from a slim 135 pounds to a massive 275. For a year, I was a fat nonsmoker but when women laughed and said they'd never go out with a fat guy like me, that was it. I went back to 2 packs a day. Smoking keeps my weight down, and as long as it does, I don't care a hoot about the problems of cigarettes. For more details, read my comments in other You Tube videos about quitting smoking

Mark Twain said that it was easy to quit smoking...he'd done it a thousand times.
That's where I am. This time is the last for me.
I'm sick of smoking. I hate the smell. It's hurting my health. It hurts my family and me.
We had a family member pass away this morning from heart failure and lung cancer.
    I'm so done with smoking.
    "I need AIR!"
