thanks for the video, someone told me it was in the fuse box under the hood spent more time looking in the wrong place, then it took me to actually do it .
There are two thin pieces of metal with circular ends. Wedge a piece of folded electric tape in the space available to cause those two contact points to stay together.
Why wouldn't you just remove the relay and install a jumper wire? Seems easier and safer than stuffing something in the relay to keep it closed. Use a 12 gauge wire and a couple of spade connectors.
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Crew Axl Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
how get the foot rest off, i accidently pulled a wire in the panel of drive and truck wont start it light up but won't start , i see the hand screw but the foot pad cover it mostly , im over weight so it hard
Does anyone know what voltage the original rear camera of the 2019 tacoma works with? I also need to know the function by cable colors for your original harness. Thank you
I did this mod and immediately undid it. It does work but when switch the ignition from ON to OFF, the power is cut momentarily. I'm worried I'm powering up more than just the outlet. Anyone else notice this? I've got the same 2014 Tacoma Sport.
Good intentions, I am trying the same. But you are risking your car battery. If you forget to switch off anything in the car you will drain your battery. Better find an always on fuse and rewire the 12V outlet.
what teh hell are you guys running via your 12volt that could drain a car battery in less than a day. Tthat is some bs that the relay is buried that deep. my relay on my tacoma is under the hood.

Thank you!!! Worked like a charm
Can you give a tad bit more info on how and where you put the rubber inside of the relay

Very helpful video. Now I just need to figure out how to remove the dash panel that holds the cigarette lighters.
i been trying to figure that out my self
why would you have to do that ?

@Crew Axl It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
@Caiden Grant glad I could help xD
why would you do all that to the relay vs making a jumper and making the circuit
because the relay controls the fog lights as well
Works great on 2014 Sport
ohh thanks for the video

Man they sure don't make it too easy to replace that relay
Awesome. Can anyone help me find a video on how to do this to a gen 3?

Gencay Cengiz Sounds reasonable to me rather than ripping apart half the truck.

My god could you whisper any more softly?
My gosh did you have to shout at us?
