Great job on this subject. From some of your other posts US forces could start with the cartel grow operations in Cali and elsewhere here in Ga the Chinese had a huge indoor grow discovered by food inspectors
These stories are beyond horrific.. I’m 45 years old , and a father of 3 children all under 13 yrs old …. I would give my life to help put a end to this barbarism…. This is happening in our backyard and what is our response ? To send billions to Ukraine…. Makes zero sense …. “ All that is necessary for evil to succeed, is for good men to do nothing”. But what if they don't identify as terrorists? You have to take into account their feelings and what pronouns they would like to be called. Just because something looks like a duck walks like a duck and quacks like a duck does not mean it's a duck it could just be a crazy fuck
Just look at what El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele has done to combat the gangs. His method should be the model and the standard on how to combat the cartels and gangs.
The MDMA angle is kind of funny in the respect that it was just covered on Fantastic Fungi. It sounds like "Clockwork Orange" type of an idea but there may be something to it. I hope it works for PTSD and opiate addiction. We lose too many people to both and many are vets. I've been working in prison for 35 years. I think something has to change too.
Pretty sure they've had incredible success with PTSD. But then you'd have to convince the Cartel that is INSIDE our Borders to try that instead of the Pharma Bullshit they push.
I think terrorism/ domestic terrorism has more to do with groups furthering their ideological goals. Cartels are violent, however the only goal is making money. Both Mexico and the US have to combat these issues on each side of the border. That's just my opinion.
Why make rules though? Do they follow any? Same thing goes for homegrown gangs. Lable them terrorists and take it out of their asses. They can debate the semantics with their maker
Can we be clear on the fact that all Government's allow these cartels and gangs to thrive because the government's have a reason to not only spend government money but to justify there need for having such groups of special police or anti terrorist soldiers. Its all about money every angle you look at it. So deeply sad for all especially the children that have no idea how to be a child. I pray these times change for the better.
Don't forget the CIAs need for untraceable black budget money. There's projects being funded that the house intelligence committee has no idea about. And they won't because there is no paper trail because they get their money from the cartel.
It’s not about money, it’s about control. What did u think the American Gov did in Colombia? Took control of the drug buisness, gave Cartel leaders who were willing to betray Escobar passes and the ones that did t got killed, put in prison or extradited to American prisons…
Short answer to the question is that labeling them a terrorist organization would yes bring more funding but it would not solve the issue overnight. what he’s basically saying is that if United States wants to fix this problem, a full-scale war will be needed.
Only a full scale invasion and occupation can fix that God Damned country.and it should be administered by 33 countries for its 33 states, and be rotated every year.
Then afterwards we would have to suffer worse conditions that war causes. More mentally screwed and traumatized population for governments benefit because they will be tu led away comfy and rich. To be an effective war for the better. They would need to team up with Mexico and if requires buying some of them or convincing. Do it because the end result would be 100x worse than just legalizing and regulating drug users who will find a drug either way.
Thanks for asking the big question. It's a complicated topic, and they have already said that if we declared war on them, they would just poison all the drugs already coming in(I think Ed Calderon said that). It just seems like something we should be trying to stop because when we are weakened, they will flood in.
Most people don't know this, but in the early 2000s, the cartels worked quite closely with the CIA to secure our borders. The cartels detained, or did other things, to suspected terrorists after 9/11. We never had any jihadis come through our Southern border. Although, to be fair, it was a win-win situation; the last thing traffickers want is to blow up the border. Hezbollah does have a presence in Mexico, however; but, it's mainly train cartels how to use explosives against one another. I don't know if this is related or not, but many of the medical radioactive material in Mexico is stolen. Again, this is something that is totally unreported; hopefully they're just re-selling it to other hospitals.
So in the 1970s Israel was being hit with attacks (sometimes daily) where people from Palestine and foreigners were coming in doing attacks. So they build a fence around the border and the attacks stopped by 99% or some ridiculous reduction. - yes we have a lot more border but just from 2016-2020 the fence and increased Intervention provided a dramatic decrease. If people think one thing will solve this your in denial. These problems take several resources combined that will slow it. Remember we don’t have to stop it totally. If we can make it difficult to get drugs over the border the price of drugs will spike. So then less people can afford it. But what we are seeing the prices have dropped because the supply is so huge. So these kids are dying non stop.
Sounds like Americans are making their own choices and have done it for decades and decades now. Before it was the Colombians bringing the drugs, now is Mexicans , after that it will be someone else. The problem is here and has always been here, why blame others?
I have no problem labeling them terrorist as long as you treat their consumers as collaborators. Otherwise you’d punish Mexico with even more violence and instability while nothing happens on this side of the border.
This is the first interview where the guy genuinely knows what he’s talking about. Most people talk from an outside perspective but he’s spot on. Great interview
I think, after hearing these situations, that having US tier one spec ops obliterate cartel labor and management in totality... would be playing nice to what should actually be done.
Yes, they should be labeled a clear and present danger to the US. And they should feel the entire might of our military. Evil flourishes when good men do nothing
Idiotic thoughts like that would trigger massive terrorist strikes against us. This already happened in Columbia and Mexico, which is why we keep the violence contained opposite of our side of the border.
Well, mister Reaper, we ain't got the pussy democrats in charge anymore. The cartels are now labeled officially as what they are; terrorists. They're about to get a rude awakening.
There’s a lot of legitimate reasons. From the Mexican perspective it could be seen as an invasion while there are no bombings in the US where willing consumers are. Imagine Iraq but this time they are our neighbors and have easy access into this country.
Ain't going to happen, mexicans still have a deep grudge to this day that the U.S. took 1/3 of the land, and they would rather keep the cartels than let the U.S. come in😂 thats their Pride🇲🇽
I meannn, the undercover DEA agent Kiki Camarena knew what kind of people he was snitching on so why is the public so surprised that he got murdered, just because he was a U.S. agent 😂😂
After hearing this interview, we definitely need to have the USA military involved because it's right on our border and will eventually cross our border into United States.
@@jorgecervantes3725 no war on drugs in the USA ? Are you dumb most people in American prison are in prison right now for drugs ofcourse we have a war on drugs. The US government allows the cartels to sell drugs because it’s good money for the US government locking people up and having millions of people in rehabs and prisons
You really want an Iraq as our neighbor? Alternatively you could figure out why so many people are consuming these stupid drugs. Also persecuting high level Mexican officials for collaborating with cartels would be a great idea. There’s literally a huge criminal trail going on right now in Brooklyn against a guy named Genaro Garcia Luna and it’s got tons of Mexicans officials scared shitless. 2 ex presidents fled to Spain. There’s plenty of ways to deal with this that haven’t been pursed and that dint involve the US military turning 130 million Mexicans into our enemies.
28:16 "it's either prison or death for these guys." That IS the education system for them. Stop trying to make victims out of monsters. They made a choice, and there is a consequence for that choice. Accept their choice. Administer their consequence. That part is not difficult. The difficult part is finding the people who have unflinching integrity who will not be swayed by big money who will see it through.
But for the DEMAND for what these cartels provide (people, drugs, etc) they would not be a problem for the USA. As long as Americans are willing to pay for any sort of contraband, someone will be there trying to sell it to us. The point of interdiction of contraband should be at our borders and coastlines. The goal should be to make it extrememly difficult for anyone (for any reason ) to enter our nation without our permission. Although we have many people dying from fentanyl, and that is a tragedy, virtually all deaths occur when someone intentially uses fetanyl or unknowingly ingests it while using another "street" drug.
No one is underestimating Tier 1 operators. Tier 1 operators like John McPhee, Brent Tucker, Nate Cornacchia, etc., have said this isn't as simple as sending a unit to kick in doors. The U.S. was in Afghanistan for 20 years..like McPhee said the cartel has weapons, they own the ground, they're embedded in civil society & government. I live in San Diego & work with ppl who live in TJ, sure you could send some SOF to kill a HVT, but putting an occupation force in Mexico would be insane.
Great thought provoking interview by someone who has seen children as casualties. There has to be an agreement the U.S. can make with Mexico, the international banking system and intelligence agencies to begin controlling cartel money. Any action taken by the U.S. should be seriously thought out because this can easily go sideways.
You try and stick these prospect kids in feeling environments, there's gonna be a whole lot of little Amores Perros Rottweilers doing a lot of damage to the softness of their new environment before new teachings take hold and they follow in pursuit of higher things...there has to be a way to ease the transition between the two worlds; a middle life between the two extremes....
This is the answer you get when you interject journalistic logic into what is a current and serious problem. You'll try to fix the problem without rooting out the cause first.
off the bat this guy is a disappointment. The US holds back China, Iran, North Korea, Russia and etc... and he thinks the Cartels has a chance. A fully unleashed US Military is the scariest thing on this planet.
“Should cartels be labeled as terrorist”? Short answer no. The Government would have to actually do their job and close the Southern border which is contrary to the present Administration’s mission.
Now it's done, because America is free from sleepy Joe and his ilk. Kamala would never do it either, as I'm sure illicit drugs are part of her regular intake. Trump has done it and troop deployments to the border has only just begun.
They need to leave the kids alone, they are the only thing that's GOOD left. Let them grow up and decide there journey. These cartels are so messed up they get kids to do there jobs. Kids need to be kids they can make there choices when they get older.
Yea so let children drink and do drugs and don’t try to stop it. Great way of thought your a a monster morally. Wanna remind you or educate you that we have more Americans die yearly now from fentanyl alone than we did total deaths from all drugs and alcohol 5 years ago.
It'll create skirmishes here in the U.S. People here should be prepared to see some very horrifying shit if this all goes down. Just stay frosty, everyone.
How can you even go back when extreme violence has become a normal part of life for large parts of the population? How even deescalate from there? Just let it runs its course until people are tired of it or dead? I find the idea scary that this could happen anywhere, and all it would take is a handful of people who keep pushing more and more extreme behavior until it becomes just something you accept to live with.

Well it just happened 😂. Can't wait to watch the go pro footage.
Or the footage of what the cartel will do with captured americans
In San Antonio, teenager came with his sister to an appointment during school hours. Asked why he's not in school. He told me there's no point in going because he wasn't going to live to mid twenties.
Locals are probably afraid of the Cartel, so good luck with trying to educate the parents.
Underrated interview.
Shooting at commercial airlines with a .50 Cal? I'd say its time.
It wasn’t a commercial airline it was a air force plane.
@@danielthagreat4361 that’s the purest definition of terrorism ..a group of people which use violence for political gain …aka attacking the government for going against them
@@Chitown18 what’s the political gain? They were defending their territory and their boss I don’t see any political gain from it. Maybe CJNG but not CDS.
lol I thought this was a nerdy frank castle 😂 from the thumbnail
Idk if they should be labeled anything other than enemy combatants. It’s beyond time that the big boys actually cleaned the cartels out and put bounties on them
Why would they do that? All in bed together
@@WilliamScott96NPC response
These so-called Big Boys are getting their cut too😂😂
Well, now they have been labeled correctly and Trump got some very anti-cartel people in his cabinet ready to rain hell on these monsters. Troops already being deployed to the border to stop any and all illegal crossings is just the beginning.
We are about to find out.
Interesting to see this video now that the Cartel has been deemed a terrorist organization
This guy is great👍 he actually sees things for what they are.!
John Stuart Mill
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing". Edmund Burke... Also you totally wouldn't give your life because I can almost guarantee you aren't involved in remedying the situation. Stop virtue signaling
@dylannewton. Someone like you would still think Burke was first to coin that phrase !!! As for virtue signaling…. How’s this strike you …. I would hold off until on getting cartels so you can get your lethal dose of fentanyl…. Then I would sign up …. If you like we can continue this conversation in my hometown of San Diego California
Education doesn't work without options. They need other ways to make money and support themselves and their family.
That’s up to the Mexican government.
But what if they don't identify as terrorists? You have to take into account their feelings and what pronouns they would like to be called. Just because something looks like a duck walks like a duck and quacks like a duck does not mean it's a duck it could just be a crazy fuck
Hahahaha good point, but this isnt the Biden/Kamala administration anymore.
Well, Trump’s in office now
Seriously great..love your show
36:30 "its more like millions of people, organized, Heavily armed not only selling drugs" that sounds a lot like an army.
lol this ad read timing is wild
Just look at what El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele has done to combat the gangs. His method should be the model and the standard on how to combat the cartels and gangs.
These are billion dollar cartels very different then street gangs
El Salvador is a tiny country
Who in their right mind compares tiny gangs to a cartel😂
And the fact that these organization stretch along both sides of the border and deep into the United States, and Canada, all around the world !
And they make money buy causing terror to people
You're wrong. Their goals go beyond money.
@@pfzht If money is not the motive. What is?
Why make rules though? Do they follow any? Same thing goes for homegrown gangs. Lable them terrorists and take it out of their asses. They can debate the semantics with their maker
@alexmesser2295 invasion.
stop the supply of firepower. thats first
Can we be clear on the fact that all Government's allow these cartels and gangs to thrive because the government's have a reason to not only spend government money but to justify there need for having such groups of special police or anti terrorist soldiers.
The cartel isn't just the hitman, but the street bender, the barber, the taxi driver, that's the worst option you gave😂😂
Yes .here we are 🎉
Thanks for asking the big question.

A harder to follow interview I cannot think of. This was a rare occasion when I turned it off.
I thought theres gona be a similar comment. At one point you think he is going somewhere with a story and then it just ends and a new story starts.
Agree 100%
People are always going to find counter measures
These kids and people are dying nonstop because they make there own choices to use drugs-you can’t die if you don’t consume
Sounds like Americans are making their own choices and have done it for decades and decades now. Before it was the Colombians bringing the drugs, now is Mexicans , after that it will be someone else. The problem is here and has always been here, why blame others?
@bhbxgoclran2174 that doesn't mean you don't try, that's a defeatist attitude.
Thank you
I have no problem labeling them terrorist as long as you treat their consumers as collaborators. Otherwise you’d punish Mexico with even more violence and instability while nothing happens on this side of the border.
This is the first interview where the guy genuinely knows what he’s talking about. Most people talk from an outside perspective but he’s spot on. Great interview
This is what we DON'T WANT in the US!
So stop buying what they produce, and stop sending them guns
I think, after hearing these situations, that having US tier one spec ops obliterate cartel labor and management in totality... would be playing nice to what should actually be done.
Yes, they should be labeled a clear and present danger to the US. And they should feel the entire might of our military. Evil flourishes when good men do nothing
They wouldn’t be a danger to the US if Americans weren’t so addicted to drugs-USA and uk are the biggest illegal drug consumers in the world
Idiotic thoughts like that would trigger massive terrorist strikes against us.
This already happened in Columbia and Mexico, which is why we keep the violence contained opposite of our side of the border.
The American military isn’t good either lol. Y’all have killed millions and millions yet no discussion is had about that.
These "Good Men" aren't doing anything because they are getting their cut of the cake too😂😂
Well, mister Reaper, we ain't got the pussy democrats in charge anymore. The cartels are now labeled officially as what they are; terrorists. They're about to get a rude awakening.
He’s being careful cause he doesn’t want to lose his connections with the cartel.
Great video
yes ,the question is why aren't they already? who's in with em? who's allowing them to conduct business 🤔.
There’s a lot of legitimate reasons. From the Mexican perspective it could be seen as an invasion while there are no bombings in the US where willing consumers are. Imagine Iraq but this time they are our neighbors and have easy access into this country.
@@briansanchez6699 not to mention we already invaded Mexico before
Ain't going to happen, mexicans still have a deep grudge to this day that the U.S. took 1/3 of the land, and they would rather keep the cartels than let the U.S. come in😂 thats their Pride🇲🇽
I was in that town where the 49 appeared in Cadereyta Nuevo León , I had no idea I was 4 kilometers away , I was just visiting
Can you link the entire interview?
Should the CIA be labeled a terrorist organization 🤔, they were the ones that gave up the DEA agent that got killed by the cartels
Idc
Oops
I meannn, the undercover DEA agent Kiki Camarena knew what kind of people he was snitching on so why is the public so surprised that he got murdered, just because he was a U.S. agent 😂😂
Smile and wave boys, smile and wave. 👋 😊
¿Then what would happen to the American people that sell them the guns they buy here (USA)?
I heard about that lady! GodBless!
After hearing this interview, we definitely need to have the USA military involved because it's right on our border and will eventually cross our border into United States.
Eventually??
It’s already here
How about if the Americans stop using drugs? Also, why is there no war on drugs in the USA? Don’t tell me there are no American cartels?

And all the American drug addicts make there choices as well-wouldn’t be a problem if Americans would stop being dope fiends
What if we literally starving is it ok to try to sneak in if there's no other way, 1 of 1000 get accepted for a 6 month work visa
A big YES
This idiot is saying don’t even try to send in our military. He is grossly underestimating our tier 1 operators.
He’s a typical Liberal
Sending in tier 1 to fight 14 yr old with guns really needs to be thought through
Great thought provoking interview by someone who has seen children as casualties. There has to be an agreement the U.S. can make with Mexico, the international banking system and intelligence agencies to begin controlling cartel money. Any action taken by the U.S. should be seriously thought out because this can easily go sideways.
Recruiting the kids for the cartels sounds all to familiar 👀 🤔. I've seen it myself being born and raised Westside Chicago thru the 90s. SMH
They copied the cartels😂
What is the name of this guest?
You try and stick these prospect kids in feeling environments, there's gonna be a whole lot of little Amores Perros Rottweilers doing a lot of damage to the softness of their new environment before new teachings take hold and they follow in pursuit of higher things...there has to be a way to ease the transition between the two worlds; a middle life between the two extremes....
That’s the MOST obvious YES of all time!!!
This is the answer you get when you interject journalistic logic into what is a current and serious problem. You'll try to fix the problem without rooting out the cause first.
Absolutely 😎
The term "mexican govt" needs the air quotes when used in discussion.
So does US Government.
Change that.... All Government everywhere
Last time I looked up the word terrorism. It said to instill fear with a weapon. So that was early 2008. I would say they are.
Declare them terrorists and exterminate the problems

off the bat this guy is a disappointment. The US holds back China, Iran, North Korea, Russia and etc... and he thinks the Cartels has a chance. A fully unleashed US Military is the scariest thing on this planet.
Is he smoking fentanyl?
Yes we should
“Should cartels be labeled as terrorist”? Short answer no. The Government would have to actually do their job and close the Southern border which is contrary to the present Administration’s mission.
Now it's done, because America is free from sleepy Joe and his ilk. Kamala would never do it either, as I'm sure illicit drugs are part of her regular intake. Trump has done it and troop deployments to the border has only just begun.
They need to leave the kids alone, they are the only thing that's GOOD left. Let them grow up and decide there journey. These cartels are so messed up they get kids to do there jobs. Kids need to be kids they can make there choices when they get older.
Can’t label them terrorist because Americans choose on there own will to use drugs nobody force’s them too
Amen to that🙏
Yea so let children drink and do drugs and don’t try to stop it. Great way of thought your a a monster morally.
Wanna remind you or educate you that we have more Americans die yearly now from fentanyl alone than we did total deaths from all drugs and alcohol 5 years ago.
By definition they are terrorists.
Having a largely disarmed population hasn't helped matters.
Higher penalties for drug dealers and users. Americans are not serious about stopping illicit drugs.
Yes, thst would work so well, if you have absolutely no idea what you are talkibg about
It'll create skirmishes here in the U.S.
