Heh heh, I watched an Iron Mike fight at a house party, I think it was the ear biting fight;I lost a bag of weed at the party, & it got found & returned(!) * Because all the people there were doing coke, no one cared about my minor league weed, (!)
Gaya tinju James Tillis dengan foot work yg lincah mirip Muhammad Ali sepertinya sangat merepotkan Tyson.
It was actually 10 rounds but yes it was Tyson's first major test. This is the fight I show people when they tell me that they think Tyson could take a prime Ali. Tillis was like a watered down knockoff drug store brand version of Ali and he gave Tyson a lot of problems, winning four of the ten rounds and was the first opponent to go the distance with him.
I have got a movie DVD of Mike Tyson (as a guest appearance) with Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxxx
Tillis need to have hand speed and faster footworks like Ali also his conditioning is suspect no wonder the great Bruce Lee said Ali revolutionized fighting
@Dean Martinson. He was the heavyweight champion in less than a year from that fight. I get that Tyson wasn't at his absolute best. But his style was vulnerable to the style and skill-set of an Ali.
"If you're scoring the fight at home, I have the first round even..." He said that so tongue in cheek you have to give him credit for not bursting out laughing. Like WHO bothers scoring a Tyson fight when you fully expect the other guy to keel over any moment?
There a lot to consider. Had Tyson stayed straight and perfected his craft, he would have been as close to unstoppable as they come. On the other had Frazier beats Ali, I think Tyson beats Frazier. So if my math is correct... I don’t think an Ali win is guaranteed vs Tyson.
Tyson susceptible to the upper cut and Tillis has a peach of a upper cut. Ali didn't have a great upper cut but big George did! This wasn't prime Tyson but this fight was a good indicator of where Tyson's weakness was! To sum up, Ali's movement and cleverness would give him a points win and big George would have knocked him out. With Joe Frazier I cannot tell, but it wouldn't be for the faint hearted! Buster Douglas and Holyfield showed the way , not forgetting Lewis.
Lennox used Tillis tactics to destroy Tyson with the footworks and jabs until mike couldn't resist him!.. Looking closely the same thing played out during mike and Lennox
@ 12:38 Tillis pushed Mike like 5-8 feet which was amazing because to throw a punch like Mike does you have to push your feets like 2 feet in the ground to generate this kind of power, and to push that grounded power in continuation of out circle takes a blood out of your arse. Tillis had a strategic footwork..Tyson didn't catch up. Tillis's coach was awesome. His footwork is unpredectiable, if he wd had the upper body movement training like Ali, then he might have had a closure for Ali. Outcircle is more tiring than anything..for a heavy man with big muscles. Moreover he took viscous punches and kept mooving like a pingpong ball..gripping his legs unpredictabally.

Tilis like Ali style but no sting like bee.foot work is good and rilex
I mean tillis
This is the fight Hollyfield studied in order to figure Tyson out,
Heh heh, I watched an Iron Mike fight at a house party, I think it was the ear biting fight;I lost a bag of weed at the party, & it got found & returned(!)
* Because all the people there were doing coke, no one cared about my minor league weed, (!)
Gaya bertarungnya james hampir mirip sama Muhammad ali
Mike Tyson's playing style has no martial arts, very bad
Hķ
@ Meh nyedak
Gaya tinju James Tillis dengan foot work yg lincah mirip Muhammad Ali sepertinya sangat merepotkan Tyson.
Makasih bang ..🙏🙏
Komentarnya sangat adil..
Tidak berat sebelah...🙏🙏❤️
Good video, but got ugly because of bad opening comments
It was actually 10 rounds but yes it was Tyson's first major test. This is the fight I show people when they tell me that they think Tyson could take a prime Ali. Tillis was like a watered down knockoff drug store brand version of Ali and he gave Tyson a lot of problems, winning four of the ten rounds and was the first opponent to go the distance with him.
I have got a movie DVD of
Mike Tyson
(as a guest appearance)
with Paul Hogan in
Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles
I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxxx
Tyson was always open to uppercut.... shame
As he found out against Lewis..😉
Tyson found that out first in the Buster Douglas fight.
Tillis using the same strategy as Foreman vs Frazier. Tillis keep pushing shorter Tyson shoulders to avoid hard hit .
2 athletes in their prime... I wouldn't want to be the judge for that fight.
Very good product fast delivery!
Tillis need to have hand speed and faster footworks like Ali also his conditioning is suspect no wonder the great Bruce Lee said Ali revolutionized fighting
Tillis fights just like Muhammad Ali
Except Ali was far superior and more skilled. So if Tillis gave Tyson trouble, Ali much more so.
His fight style almost similar with Muhammad Ali
@Dean Martinson. He was the heavyweight champion in less than a year from that fight. I get that Tyson wasn't at his absolute best. But his style was vulnerable to the style and skill-set of an Ali.
@Dean Martinson. I thought so too until I watched the Tillis fight. Now I'm not so convinced of that.
Tyson would murder ali.
Willis reminds me of Ali
"If you're scoring the fight at home, I have the first round even..."
He said that so tongue in cheek you have to give him credit for not bursting out laughing. Like WHO bothers scoring a Tyson fight when you fully expect the other guy to keel over any moment?
He still has that inner potential to strike back.
Ali in his prime would definitely whoop Mike tyson
There a lot to consider. Had Tyson stayed straight and perfected his craft, he would have been as close to unstoppable as they come. On the other had Frazier beats Ali, I think Tyson beats Frazier. So if my math is correct... I don’t think an Ali win is guaranteed vs Tyson.
EL HUEON GRANDE MUY JULERO PARA BOXEAR DEBIERA DEDICARSE A BUSCAR TRABAJO EN OTRA ESPECIALIDAD .TENIA UN MIEDO TERRIBLE CUANDO EMPEZO LA PELEA .
Thank you for your opinion sir...🙏🙏❤️
@@ElangEAGLE 🙏.
Footwork was on point. Just didn't have the knockout power to hurt Tyson.
E
If you keep Tyson timing and balance off by the jab you have somewhat of a chance.
James luar biasa. Kuat kokoh tdk kalah sama petinju muda sepertinya berimbang. Harusnya sih seri karena jamse jg tdk berhenti memukul & byk masuk.
Setuju bang...🙏🙏
Padahal pertarungan yg lama begini yg disenangi publik.

He gets punch more than one and still up if I get one punch from Mike Tyson I will get knockouts
Didn't quick Tillis learn how to double up his punches or use hooks and uppercuts?
Fight of two gigants!
The time when boxing has no drama
Griting from Bali,, visit also me on Angler kampung Bali 🙏🙏 thank you 🙏
Muhammad Ali was a drama
This is crazy how legend Mike Tyson been whooping grown azz man as teenager 🤔🤔 love it👍
Maybe buster Douglas watched this fight and thought ummmmmm 🤔
Tyson was not on his prime anymore when fighting Douglas.
@@s2k26 I think he underestimated Douglas massively, also Tillis was just one of those fighters Tyson struggled with and underestimated him too, but without doubt Tyson is arguably the greatest fighter that ever lived!!
@@stevenalderson1379 Agree, Tyson underestimate Douglas, also he doesn't have Kevin Rooney on his side.
@@s2k26 totally agree when he split from Kevin Rooney and got mixed up with the infamous Don king it was the start of his demise, to much fame, to fast, Rooney and d'mato would have kept him grounded and possibly the greatest fighter ever!
@@s2k26 Tyson has openly admitted he lost the fight to Douglas because he didn’t train for it. He was 22 at the time, so he technically was still in his prime, he just wasn’t taking care of himself and was partying a bunch and fucking prostitutes, and he underestimated Douglas, so it was a lot of factors that led to him losing the fight.
I agree, bro..🙏🙏
Because Tillis, who was able to survive, didn't try to attack young Mike Tyson..🙏👍❤️
Tillis here was granite, Mike was great surprised, respect to both,
Mike tyson is the legend
Early round two Mike got hit real good in the liver. That's what started to slow him down.
