I know a lot of stylist who say "i won't tell ya'll all of my secrets because I still have to make money" I love that you are okay sharing... which means that you are comfortable with your craft and don't feel threatened giving out your techniques. THANK YOU THANK YOU so much!!
Thank you. My braids always end up being thick because I have thick hair and in not the best braided (i braid my own hair) and my crochet braids are loose. Now I know what to do. Your videos have really helped me step my hair game up.
Lol so this is why when I get these my scalp hurts because I was putting them under the braid and the thickness of the crochet was pulling in my thin areas thanks for the vid!
OMG I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND THIS BEFORE I DID MY SENEGAL BOX BRAIDS!! MY HEAD WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN!!! I DID SUPER TIGHT, SMALL BRAIDS AND I PULL ALL MY BIG BRAIDS RIGHT THROUGH THEM! NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. I LOST CIRCULATION IN MY HEAD! LOL, NO JOKE!
good job Beauty. thank you for always being willing to share your thoughts however inserting a thick braid through the front hairlines is how and why crochet causes tension alopecia quite a number of people have long lost their front hairs due to crochets being done at the beginning of the corn rows. my insight is not to taper the beginnings of a cornrow if a jumbo-sized braid is what you intend to use instead match the shape of the cornrow roll to the size of the braid extension. as in cut the lines so the beginning look more like a square than angle
so let me get this straight...when you have a thicker braid you only push the needle on the top piece of the braid and when it's a thinner braid you push the needle through the entire braid, close to the scalp?
Man. I wish i saw this the first 3xs i crocheted my daughter's hair. This would if saved a lot of pulling and tugging; along with a few ow's. Well, better late than never.😊
Thank you so much for this tips, wish the lady who damaged my hair while installing crochet braids for me could see this. shw did the cornrows so tight that it caused a deep wound on my hair scalp.
i purchased the 2 toned braiding hair to make pre braided box braids for crochets. the hair is super soft! i didnt have any tangling while braiding. i will be ordering more to do the vixen crochet style. beautycanbraid you are my go to for braiding hair! #supportblackbuisinesses thank you!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for this. I did my own crochet goddess braids two days ago and I was wondering why it came out looking so weird in the back. I’ve got some thick hair so my braids are pretty thick and I crocheted under all of them. I couldn’t find any explanations on how to fix it until this video!! I appreciate you so much
I love all your work. I love the fact that you care for the hair.... im a braider and you inspire me alot...keep u the beautiful and talented work you do
thank you for showing us the right way to do this because i HAVE been doing this all the way wrong. You rock! Thanks for being that ONE who doesnt mind TEACHING and SHOWING we love you for that beautycanbraid!!!
Thanks for sharing. Your videos are always so helpful and very well done. You have helped me so much with doing my hair and my daughters hair. You totally rock!!!!
Thank you your the first person who showed how many crochet twist to add to one braid plus the direction the crochet braid should be I. Order to achieve the style. You also showed how not to put the crochet braid on and not to make the braids on her head to big.
when I watch some other hair tutorials the edges are ALWAYS too tight. I've been braiding hair for about 10 years and watching your videos I've still learned so much
Tabby Williams is the difference in Beautycanbraid's technique? I couldn't tell once she started doing the edges, it was going too fast for me to catch it (or maybe the detail was too small for me to notice).
Tabby Williams at the thicker part of the braid, yes. I was doing that already after watching so many of her videos. However, I just noticed that she even goes through only a piece of the braid (not the whole strand) and it's on top of the cornrow. I had been doing them on the side. So that it was more difficult to hide the parts and cornows in the back section.
I wish I had seen this video before I got mine installed last week🙄 mine are so heavy & way too much! I chose a thick twist type & it came out so HEAVY 😭
I got excited for a moment because I thought this could be the solution to stopping future breakage at my crown.....I did not realise it was about minimizing bulk. Great work as always
omg, I've been doing these on my hair and the way you put the hair inside of the thick braid is SO SMART! I always wondered why mine came out terrible in the middle
OMG...This video is EVERYTHING!!! Needed this tutorial becuz my daughters & I have very thick hair and I always have a problem getting the crotchet needle thru it. Now I don't have 2 fight with it anymore. THANKS HUNTI!!! U just saved my life...👏 😇
Your work is Phenomenal & I always go back & look at the tutorials to see if I missed anything. Your are TRULY BLESSED BY THE BEST!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 Keep posting your art!
Thank you for this! I was going to ask you about this. My hair is crazy thick so by the time I braid it, my back braids are huge. I want to try a crochet style soon and this really helped.
Soon as I heard the song playing I wondered who the heck would hate on such perfection? The devil is a lie. Thanks for sharing your craft. Beautiful work as usual.
I wish UA-cam would have recommended this video two weeks ago...I spent a full day trying to get the right braid pattern and ended up just giving it up the next day because I couldnt figure out how I could braid the back by myself. Now this braid pattern i can do! This video is genius !!
Beautiful. ur so detailed. i njoyd it. now i c y my crochets look like they bout 2 fall out bcuz i take the hair under the thik braid nsted uv thru the braid. thnkx mamii😊
FleurRebelle my comment wuznt 4 u sweetie😒. N u don't hav 2 understnd it. I don't hav 2 spell evrythng out 4 u r any1 2 understnd but thnkx 4 sharing ur opinion 😏
plush furr lol I get it. Who would want to listen to people they don't even know in a youtube comment section? But trust me, life would be so much better and people would take you more seriously if you up your spelling/grammar game. Do it for yourself, not for us ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
omg a thousand thumbs up. I always wondered why my crochet come out crazy with thick hair. so I start doing small braids cause I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong THANK YOUJUUU
The explanation or difference is that when you put the hair in on the finer pieces, you want to put the hook in the opposite direction that you are going to pull the hair if pulling it up. For instance, the back she put the needle in going down towards the buttocks because you will pull the hair up and it won't cause stress to your clients hair. Look at the entire video, vs stopping midway because the braid pattern and example of the back is done after the example of the sides. I didn't get it either until I watched the ENTIRE video. Hope that helps.
Thank u so much for this video. I been self installing few months and can nvr get it to fall right in the back w/o leaving open areas or braids falling wrong. Out of all the crochete gurus i follow NONE have shown this or even the back of head. THANK YO SO MUCH! Subscribing NOW! and setting Alert😘🥰
I needed this b4 I try my first crochet. all the ladies have short hair and I know my hair is to thick for most patterens.love this vid sis muah🤗😘😘😇😘😘😘

Hi, I'm not sure to understand the difference when you do the edges. Like, why is it better the first way? I was also wondering if putting crochet on the edges like this will not lead the hair to break?

Excellence! Such close attention to the details, as always!

Beautycanbraid so it's best to go through the braid rather then under??

You are very talented. Your video's are my go to atyles for clients. Your a inspiration to braiding techs. I'll be the first to say thank you.
Some parts I get, but I'm still confused about the smaller wrong braid near the temple. I wish there were a verbal explanation.
The explanation or difference is that when you put the hair in on the finer pieces, you want to put the hook in the opposite direction that you are going to pull the hair if pulling it up.
