    Thank you. My braids always end up being thick because I have thick hair and in not the best braided (i braid my own hair) and my crochet braids are loose. Now I know what to do. Your videos have really helped me step my hair game up.

    good job Beauty. thank you for always being willing to share your thoughts however inserting a thick braid through the front hairlines is how and why crochet causes tension alopecia quite a number of people have long lost their front hairs due to crochets being done at the beginning of the corn rows. my insight is not to taper the beginnings of a cornrow if a jumbo-sized braid is what you intend to use instead match the shape of the cornrow roll to the size of the braid extension. as in cut the lines so the beginning look more like a square than angle

    so let me get this straight...when you have a thicker braid you only push the needle on the top piece of the braid and when it's a thinner braid you push the needle through the entire braid, close to the scalp?

      Beautycanbraid so it's best to go through the braid rather then under??

    • @TMTTucker
      @TMTTucker 7 років тому

      Tabby Williams is the difference in Beautycanbraid's technique? I couldn't tell once she started doing the edges, it was going too fast for me to catch it (or maybe the detail was too small for me to notice).

    • @g00dth3m3
      @g00dth3m3 7 років тому +7

      Tabby Williams at the thicker part of the braid, yes. I was doing that already after watching so many of her videos. However, I just noticed that she even goes through only a piece of the braid (not the whole strand) and it's on top of the cornrow. I had been doing them on the side. So that it was more difficult to hide the parts and cornows in the back section.

    Some parts I get, but I'm still confused about the smaller wrong braid near the temple. I wish there were a verbal explanation.

    • @evespower1
      @evespower1 6 років тому +13

      The explanation or difference is that when you put the hair in on the finer pieces, you want to put the hook in the opposite direction that you are going to pull the hair if pulling it up. For instance, the back she put the needle in going down towards the buttocks because you will pull the hair up and it won't cause stress to your clients hair. Look at the entire video, vs stopping midway because the braid pattern and example of the back is done after the example of the sides. I didn't get it either until I watched the ENTIRE video. Hope that helps.
