But, again, THANKS A MILLION because now I can have fun bonding with my mom while she lets me use her as my Guinea pig 😩😩 I’m

As a foster parent, I thank you for your videos! I am a white woman & have just got my 1st African American teen, ( I had young girls & there hair was not as complicated)who needed some help with her hair, when I heard 4 to 5 hundred to do this,I was in shock! I love this. I crochet my hair all the time and this is a method that will save so much time. Instead of going up and down in the back, go left to right. You get more coverage cause the hair is layered on top of each other.

Thank you so much for this video! I did this rubber band method recently, and I loved how the style came out, AND when I took the style down (5 weeks later), I had no tangles/knots. Usually when I take my hair down from braids, it is “knot city central”. I’m using this method going forward, thank you! 💜🙌🏾🙏🏾

After a year of this tutorial sitting in my ‘watch later,’ I have finally completed it. I started at 11am and it’s now 5pm. I also almost never do my own hair so I had to redo a few of the boxes, even twisting my hair down got a little messy because I couldn’t figure out how to make them neat lines for some reason. I’m still happy though! I only spent $50 instead of $160 plus gratuity for almost the same style.
Edit: After a year or following along to your videos I’m basically a pro 😂 I have people asking me if I do hair (hard no) but it’s the most flattering question ever. Thank you so much!

imggg so glad I came across this video. was contemplating what to do with my daughter's hair she is 11 and not a fan of getting her hair done. this will definitely save me time and the fact that I don't have to braid down the foundation will keep us both sane.

Sis,thank you soooo much for this video! I'm planning on doing my hair myself to save money but I've been dreading cornrowing it. This is so much easier & quicker. Years ago I used to box braid my own hair with extensions. That took about 6 hours. I could get it done in 4 hrs if I rushed it. I'm certainly not looking to spend that much time on my hair now. So this is a quick easy protective style I can do myself. And yes I want to see you do different colors! Much love from New York ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love this hairstyle. I did it to my hair on Monday. I love it. Quick, easy, and it looks really nice. $43.00 and 1.5 hours is all it costs me. I love the passion twist. It is really soft and bouncy. I used 14 inches, and it's still pretty long for me. Thank you for sharing. 😊

God bless you honey! ❤ thanks again!! I’m excited for Sunday hair day instead of dreading it 😂

I am soooooo happy I found your video! I had been braiding my own hair for years (box braids), but finally, I wanted something different. I had been wanting to learn how yo crochet, but cornrowing my hair is difficult for me😂 I watched your video and felt confident in trying the crochet...and I'm obsessed! Only took me 3 hours compared to the 9 to 10 hours it took for my box braids. Thank you for making this video!

Thank you for this video. My stylist hurt her hand and could not do my box braids and canceled my appt 4 hrs before I was scheduled. I am a poor braider. I watched this 5 times and now I will have no need to go to a salon to get it done. Not good with the edges but no matter.
