      I didn't know that was the wrong way to do it. That is exactly how I did my hair. As soon as I saw the no no finger way I was like oh OK. Thank you for the video.

    Out of all the tutorials I've watched so far, (and believe me I've watched a lot) no one has else pointed out that I'm loop it throb the braid and not under it. I was looking at my daughters hair trying to figure out why it was so loose in the back, and now I see. Thank you for your tutorial.

    I am 70 hrs old and this is how my mom braided my hair as a little girl and taught me to braid as a little girl. This is old school plaits, I braid my hair this way when I have crochet braids. Good to see you braid this way, bring back memories.

      I did my daughters hair this was when she was little, especially in the summer time. Old fashioned connected plaits.

      I used to Platt my daughter hair like that when she was little. She calls them "Railroad Tracks" Old school NEVER goes outta Style.

    Girrrrl you make everything look so easy...I'm going to try this...I can not part straight or braid my own hair tight enough but I can braid everyone else's soooooo good..I hate it but after seeing this I wanna try again...I hate having to pay someone to do my hair when I can do it myself...thanks

    Oh my goodness!!! This is so helpful. I've struggled with my crochet braid pattern and how to hook the crochet hair. I've darn near snatched my scalp and edges out trying to pull and hook the crochet hair. Ugh! This is a blessing!!! Thank you 😊

    I love the way you teach. It help us out here in this pandemic learn how to do it ourselves. If you don’t know how to braid go to a professional to do the braid its $20 to $30.00 go home and crochet it yourself like I do sometimes. Thank you for your teaching 😊

    THANK YOU! I always struggled with latch hooking the hair around the cornrow. It looked unsightly because the knot was too big, then the hair would slip. I knew something was wrong. lol Thanks for showing us the right way. :)

    I have 3A hair but I just LOVE these videos and I find them super interesting and relaxing to watch! I love to educate myself on afro hair and styling techniques (its also always fun to surprise people including my black friends with knowledge they weren't expecting!). The art and patience is amazing. The model is soooo beautiful too, that smile!!
