I’m not gonna lie...the zigzag pattern wasn’t easy for me to do myself when I was doing my hair like this...it was not easy at all...I was debating to just take it out but once I put in the crochet, wowwww you can’t even tell it’s crochet like the lines...you can’t even see them but you’ll know it’s there when you want to put it as a side part and when you put it down..I’m amazed that even I did it myself. This one looks so much easier than the zigzag I’m gonna attempt this style on my sister head for sure...love it

I love this pattern. I recently spent 9 + hours installing half crochet half singles in my daughter's hair cos she can't stand when you can see it crochet this pattern solves that problem so thanks.😊🤗

I never do crochet hair but today I checked alot of video on how to do it, I was asking myself why dont people do like zigzag patterns to make it look more natural than straight patterns, then I saw this video.

Nikki Brooks Lol I think that’s the point tho so the lines aren’t super perfect so you can’t see the knots/foundation. If it looks askew then it looks a lil more like regular brick layered individuals & so it looks full too & your not seeing all the parts.

I've watched your videos literally 50 times or more and I still can't get any of these wigs done. I've redone each them LITERALLY ABOUT 5 TIMES AND THE OTHERS ABOUT 3 TIMES SINCE LAST YEAR, CRAZY!
With modifications this braid pattern works well. My crochet style is more versatile and looks like individuals. Not having a hump of hair in the back of my head is the best part. ❤

Thanks for this video. I won't be able to do the zig-zag by myself. I have no one to help me. But I will use the box technique for the top and edges of my hair. When I do cornrows my locs tend to slide back. This box pattern may give me the neatness I want without fear of pulling and abusing the edges of my hair. We'll see how it goes.

Cute, but can you start showing us what the middle of your clients hair looks like and not just the front part? The actual middle and back where the thicker braids are after you put the extensions in.

Lovely design. In my opinion, unless the hair is pulled up in a style and carefully placed to fall and mimic individuals, I can still detect the crochet braid pattern. This style doesn't mimic individuals in its entirety. It takes styling and positioning of the braids plus using more styles on top of the head. Simply wearing it down will not recreate the individual look.

I love these I feel.its better for your hair because when singles start growing and when you put them up they pull on your hair with these atleast the braids are enforced by being to the scalp and not pulling single hairs

Yes please. Totally agree. There are some of us sisters who'd love to see how you work your God gifted talent with the challenging issues described above. The struggle is unfortunately real.
Part your braiding section of hair thin then braid your thin section of hair with braidng hair 2 or 3x the size of your thin hair. Repeat. This will make your braids closer.

When I saw this I wondered...is it comfortable to wear? Sometimes it looked like hair was being pulled. And why the growth serum? Are the weaves damaging to the scalp?
