Yeah same, i just started my gender journey
Cuz ur gay bud

Same I didn’t know how to use them- 🤡
Or why somebody would use them
I've recently felt drawn to she/they pronouns. I think I prefer them interchangeably, but I'm still marinating what does this mean for me and how to express these to others. Thank you for the video! Also, your doggo is SO CUUUUUTE!😊
But your a singular man
@@afor5ive this is really disrespectful to someone who is just trying to figure themselves out. Please respect their choice of pronouns without spreading hate thank you. Joy empress you are completely valid.
@@aidanohare2768 it’s not hate
@@afor5ive it can be offensive. you’re trying to identify them as a man when they’re clearly figuring out their pronouns.
yesss me too, I thought I was non-binary but I don't mind having boobs, then I thought I was gender fluid but I don't feel like a guy. So I'm trying she/they pronouns now😄
update: I'm trying the label bigender. That's when you identify with 2 genders, which are female and non-binary in my case
I tasked my friend to use them on me and she said “where tf did u think of that idea”. I- dude I just feel more comfortable in my body. She still doesn’t use them on me tho

You absolutely can! Anyone can use any pronouns regardless of gender.
Lol I've just really accepted that I'm pansexual and then my gender decided to have a crises
Wow I NEEDED THIS COMMENT
I didn’t know I thought if I used she/they I was a demigirl but I didn’t relate much with that it’s weird can I be cisgender and still use she/they pronouns?
this is literally me, i watched this video because i have used they them for a while but feel very feminine and wanted to know what she they was and now i am she they so yay
Hey thanks for this , been kinda struggling with this for a while. One of those things that can be hard to ask people about when you don’t really understand yourself enough
I’ve been thinking about my pronouns and I think I’m most uncomfortable with she/they, I personally don’t mind if anyone doesn’t alternate. I just don’t know how to tell people, even though I know they’ll accept me because they already accepted me being bisexual
Update: I’m genderfluid and my pronouns change
You can put it in ur acc’s bio and maybe if they’ll notice it they’ll know

Thank you. this really gave me clarity and made me feel like I belong somewhere. I've gone by she/her my entire life (I'm still a child so yk-) but I was on a comment section and people didn't know my gender so they addressed me as 'they' and it made me really happy for some reason and I liked being addressed as they/them but I also liked she/her but I also knew I wasn't non binary. Hearing you say that if I like certain pronouns I can use them, made a light go off in my chest and it literally felt like glitter so thank you. :))
This was the best video about mixed pronouns I’ve seen and helped me figure out how I identify
Thanks a lot, my friend came out to me and wanted me to use he/they pronouns. I didnt know how to use it until I found this, thanks.
My friend Kat told me, they're fine with she and they so one can use what they are comfortable with when they adress her. But Ash (another person from my school) is easily offended if you don't mix the pronouns up (also she they)
Do you by any chance go to sig (a private school in Evansville) because my formal classmate has changed her name to Ash and has changed her pronouns so I’m thinking this may be her.
@@selenamccoy1822 Do you by chance have a brain? Or you truly use pronouns.

Wait, so if I’m comfy with she/her being used alone, they/them being used alone, and the two being alternated, then would I say I use she/her, they/them and she/they or just she/they?
If that's something you would like, yes!
I use he/they and I don't mind whether ppl alternate or not so even if you don't want ppl to alternate you can still use she/they
I’ve been figuring out my own pronouns
Currently going by He & They
For the past few weeks I’ve been so confused with my sexuality, pronouns, and just life in general. Glad to see I got one thing going right.
i think usually people put them in the the order of preference, like if they like he the most, then they the second most, they’ll put he/they, or they/he if they prefer they over he. I’m not an expert or anything i just think some people do it like that
This was genuinely so helpful. My friend uses she/they and I tried looking up how to properly use them. This was the only thing I could find that actually helped me! Thank you!

I have a genuine question: so I started using she/they and I feel really quite comfortable with it and I want to get a flag. Should I just get a non-binary flag, or are there any flags for people who use she/they or he/they pronouns?
Hmm. I would look that up because I haven't heard of pronoun flags. If you are nonbinary, I recommend the flag!
I'm agender and use she/they :) It's just about what fits you
i'm not an expert, but if you're in the category of she/ they users that feels as though you are both binary and non-binary, then you might be a demigirl. they have their own flag and everything, i'd recommended looking into it :)
Yeah, there are she/they and he/they flags
I wish you had a join option! Amazing video!@@SalanderSays
Yup, this is it, this is what ive been looking for. Thank you for creating this❤️❤️
“One reason is that… they just like it.”
You have no idea how much I needed to hear that. I’ve been wondering whether I want to stick with she/her or switch to they/she (my cousin told me that you can put your preferred pronoun first), but because it was mostly used by non-binary people I felt like I didn’t belong or that I shouldn’t be using these pronouns. Someone called me they once, it felt nice, and I ran with that without really thinking. But I also read it in a story and it sounded confusing, so I started questioning my choice. It sounds silly and it’s a dumb reason for questioning my pronouns but I don’t do well with thinking about things too deeply until day or months later. I think I’ll stick with they/she, just because, well, I like it. I wanted to get this out there. Thank you for anyone who read this whole thing
You think that's normal?

My friend uses any pronouns so I like to do a back-and-forth pattern with him. For each when I'm talking about them, I use he. Then next time I use they. Then next time I use she. But most of the time I just end up using they. 🤷♀️
Even though they got new pronouns during lockdown, and he can't really hear me talking about him, I always try my best to use a variety of pronouns, and more of he/they to make up for when she's been called she/her for the entirety of her life before that. He hasn't told his parents and stuff, because their parents are probably completely clueless about this stuff, so Imma just try my best to use more he/they to make up for that too.
I'm hoping I'm doing well, IDK tho. 😊
Still proud of myself for my own efforts and proud of my friend for figuring out the pronouns they're comfortable with and having the courage to tell me. 😁

As a conservative Texan, I’m genuinely curious how to address my they/she coworker!!! This is alllll new to me and I typically say “hey girl” to all my coworkers but when I see ‘her’ I don’t thinks saying “hey they” would make sense! And to say ‘her’ name would be too formal sooooooo what do you say in those daily settings ? Sorry, I’m trying to be sensitive even though this topic is very new school to me and I still have traditional beliefs 😅
No worries! It's okay to say "hey" or "hey friend" as well as ask them if they're okay with "hey girl."
This is really helpful for me personally. I am thinking of using he/them and your video helped me to gather my feelings in one mental space to look at in a constructive manner rather than the headless chicken run I've been on for the past few months
I like to sing old songs, to myself and sometimes friends. I use they and them and Some Enchanted Evening still sounds just as lovely without leaving anyone out who may be listening.
thank you! this was very informative but made very simple! i feel like she/they and he/they aren't explained enough! question: (using one example here) is she/they different from they/she or are they interchangeable?
Depends on who uses these pronouns and how. For some people, they list the pronoun they prefer the most first. Others list both and it doesn't matter which order they come in because they both show that someone uses both sets of pronouns. So they ca be different, but they aren't always.

Thank you, and Happy birthday! Have a great day... Going back to the video, I also use He/They pronouns as a signifier to others to use both "sets" of he/his and they/them, so I completely agree with you there... I am glad other people use these in the same way because I find it difficult to ask people what they mean by the pronouns they choose.... As for other topics you can talk about, could you do a video on where to find other genderfluid beings, on the internet or irl? Thanks again 😋❤

My friend uses they/he and today i almost accidently said she because it sounds similar to he but im glad i have the mind set in mind to correct myself if i say something wrong.

I told my friends I'm demigender and use she/they pronouns and they only use she/her pronouns. Idk how to tell them that I'd prefer if they alternated I don't want to annoy them ;_;
dont be scared to speak up abt it!!
The option isn’t available to me... I’m under 18, does that have something to do with it?
So, is it ok to want to use she / they / he but be a woman? I feel comfortable and like all three, but I feel like I’m a woman so I’m worried that’s wrong.
Pronouns dont equal gender, you can use any pronouns regardless of your gender ^^

Thanks for the video! I will soon be working with someone who has indicated she/they pronouns in their email signature and was trying to understand the pronoun mix a lil bit better (basically, do whatever floats your boat is what I'm hearing), and also how to use them well. This kinda answered both questions. Thanks!

i need this context 😭
I recently found out my sexuality as bisexual but lately felt it was Pansexual. So now i go by either one. And lately i started questioning my gender. I felt comfortable with she/they. But when I read something i saw the word ‘he’ and instantly felt happy? It was like i felt so comfortable and started smiling and such. So that’s why i think i might be he/she/they? I just say i go by any pronouns. When I researched it, all that came up was non-binary, gender fluid, or gender neutral. But when I researched those i still counts understand. Like I don’t identify as male. I identify as female. But I’m so comfortable with she they and he.

In truth, only the person whom the pronouns belong to can tell you that. Generally speaking, if someone lists two or more sets of pronouns for themself, they likely want you to use both.

Hey, I've been wondering if someone uses He/she pronouns, are they trying to be disrespectful.
Depends on the person. I know several people who use both he/him and she/her pronouns. Some of them are binary trans, some of them are gender fluid, a few are nonbinary or bigender. Occasionally, there might be a troll using he/she to be offensive, but I haven't met any.
💖💖💖, thanks for the reply/clarification.
Their is plural in that case correct? As in “their” birthday.
superrrrr useful, thank you so much!
THIS WAS POSTED ON MY BIRTHDAY
People are a lot more. That means user name. If you are trans and/or non-binary, you are most likely gonna choose a name that doesn’t fully describe your gender.
For example, on game, I was Eclipse cause it was space themed like the game. I was called he/him and I immediately wanted to correct them... but then it got me thinking, waaaiiitttt....
Now I go to an app where I talk with people. On a group chat I see people waiting for me to respond saying things like “I think they’re busy?”.
I realized some days when I read that, it made me happy, and other days I felt neutral to it. Which is completely different from he/him pronouns cause my brains first thought to those are “NO”. She/her also some days felt good while other days it felt neutral.
I’m AFAB btw. I think I’m girldoe, which is like genderdoe, where I am genderfluid but not encompassing masculine genders and also being more tied to feminine genders. I personally feel a combination of female, agender, neutrois, and every so rarely feel mavrique.
This makes me neither 100% my gender assigned at birth (called cis) nor was I 100% not my gender assigned at birth (called trans). I found isogender which is the third label in the cis/trans/iso thing. It makes me happen to finally learn that!
Where u got that Chain from?

I have been using they/she pronouns, since I prefer they/them, but in my language there is no good gender-neutral option that fits me. (Our equivalent of they/them is Identical to the feminine singular version). So my Bio actually looks like they/she if you can read both languages, but I would feel misgendered when someone would use she while speaking English. Just to give an example of someone with mixed pronoun usage, without wanting someone to change it as they like without asking.
