I have been actively saving funds as a US Veteran in hopes of preparing a new life for me outside the very dangerous-for-trans USA. I love my country and even did my part to protect her constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, but as a transwoman, I rarely find home among my own people. Sure the local farm has badass fruit and the old diner deserves to be protected as a local landmark for their amazing food and customer service, but as a transwoman I rarely find this place one worthy of recomendation to others like me. This video helped me determine, at least on a legal front, how an older transwoman, done with the process, can find maybe a new home among the finns, while occasionally visiting my parents in the states. All in all, is it safe and welcoming there? Thanks ❤

I prefer to hear from trans people who have actually waited until adulthood to transition. I don't believe that children and teens are ready. They need to wait and see in order to make the right decision, if there will be any.

I have a question, some countries require you to stay for a number of years to get citizenship, can you have the self id if you are an immigrant in one of these countries?

The Scandinavian might also be from your Scottish side. The Islands up north of Scotland was a part of Norway for over 500 years, before they were given away. That said, Scandinavians and Finns had a lot of contact after they came to the US as well.

I haven't had any help at all after top surgery! I'm a little over a week post op. My housemate was around for the first couple days but I didn't need their help at all and they're on a trip now. I feel really fortunate that I've actually been able to completely take care of myself, but it's also kinda bad because I keep accidentally doing things I'm not supposed to (reaching too far, etc...) because I've barely had any pain and I have really good arm mobility. It kinda scares me that I'm going to cause things to heal wrong, but I don't really have a choice with a lot of things since I'm on my own... The only thing I've found that I can't really do is driving. I had to drive myself to the pharmacy on day five and it didn't go very well. I still made it, but I asked a friend to drive me to my post op appointment that's 30 minutes away after that... Lol!

omfg this is terrifying! I am a little over one week post op and my left drain did the same thing, it also is draining only red fluid even though the right side is a light yellow/orange color and it hurts a lot more. I have my first post op appointment tomorrow and I'm so scared now that this is going to happen to me too😭

Hi! Thanks for your video. I've recently been feeling uncomfortable about the way I look and especially when looking in a mirror. I may be trans. I have to explore it more.

I just don’t feel a girl, I was (sadly) born as one, I never felt comfortable in the ladies bathroom, I always felt like someone was wrong with me, my body, my mind, everything, really. Whenever I go somewhere and someone tells me “Thanks dude” or “Is he okay ?” and my parents just correct them telling them I’m a she/her I just want to tell them to shut up. They look at me weirdly when they see that I don’t correct those that call me like a man. I don’t really feel good in my body and I don’t know if it’s just puberty or that I’m really trans.

Just asked my partner all of these and they admitted they're trans🎉🎉🎉

Most of my friends use she/they and I want to be better at using those pronouns, thanks!
